so we have a backup made by CMW alpha (which do not back the baseband) ...

wifi is working in BANCETDEV rom. i didn't encounter problems using that rom for 1 week. the only problem in that rom is i cant play plants vs zombies so i reflashed to stock rom again and the developer is not making updates like adding more feature like overclocking etc. that's the only problem.

Agree.. Wifi works flawlessly.. plus I could use Tasker(it crashed often in stock rom)
P.S. Waiting for the ROM

Yes, WiFi is working on that ROM. But whenever I'm going to restart my phone, the EXT partition of my SD-card isn't mounting and I need to wipe partition just to mount that again.

Not working... Unable to flash using TWRP 2.8.4.0 and TWRP 3.0.0-0
Flashing stops halfway and distroys the rom causing bootloop.
Please fix the updater script?

If you use stable 1 .. Look at setting. You will find visual effect option. And the mod in op is have same features with visual effect on stable 1.

you need a different TWRP,
or remove that check from the zip-file

Wait I just read the code variants and see the e6553.
Got it to install and boot. Didn't expect it to recognize my sim or sd being the single sim but mobile data, messaging working fine. SD card is not recognised but no biggie, apart from that everything is running well, smooth, camera isn't up to par but that is Sony's side and the boot is so fast! Great work much appreciated. Hopefully we get this working on both models flawlessly.

Errors 7 and then 6. Why do you upload something before testing it?

Evey one having error 7 and other problems.
I came from stock based ROM and Zach's kernel.
To install this onto your device use a good file manager ,I use amaze but it kept on crashing on extract so I used es file pro.
*Download zip then extract to anywhere you please.
*Go to /META-INF/com/android open metadata as text then delete line (pre-device=ivy)
*Next go to/META-INF/com/Google/android and open updater-script deletes lines assert(getprop("ro.product.device") == "ivy" || getprop("ro.build.product") == "ivy" || abort("This package is for device: ivy; this device is " + getprop("ro.product.device") + ".");
*Then compress files again into zip
*This worked for me to install, the op has done great work here and for the device they own. There are many variations of this Z3+/Z4 dual and single dim but they are all under the family sub name ivy.
* WARNING THERE ARE BUGS THAT WILL BE FOUND DO NOT POINT FINGERS. only issue I have found for me is I am single sim and SD card isn't found but that is it.

@Oveana, it's tested with TWRP recovery (http://forum.xda-developers.com/xperia-z4/development/twrp-xperia-z3-fota-recovery-t3346298).
Your recovery contain incorrect device name. It's not problem of the rom.

Same here, single sim can not found SD card

Bit OT but thermals are dam great. This is after browsing and YouTube, I guess a kernel could be pushed further than on stock based. Normally sits at 45°C in usage.

Well... I've just asked about you going ask official support or had discontinued because I'm the project co-leader. You're free to build Oreo, but we have disable repo sync for a while to work on it.
And of course, you and everyone here can go to G+ community and look Twitter and Telegram Channel for look for updates and news about it..
