Having a strange issue that I am not quite sure why is happening. I've been having a heck of a time attempting to access SD card with USB, as when I would connect it to my Windows Vista 64 Bit system the USB would constantly connect and disconnect, or my phone would simply never recognize that the USB was connected, or in more recent cases it simply goes into a boot loop or loads into the boot loader. On a hunch I decided to disable USB debugging and no more issues, except for I can't use adb obviously. I have been using my computer to customize my kindle fire, I wonder if that has something to do with it, perhaps the USB driver for adb is causing the issue? Has anyone else seen this issue? Solution? Thanks.
Update: I've come to the conclusion that there is a bad connection. I found that if I take the back cover off and connect the USB to the computer, it would work fine, but if I put any pressure on the battery it would disconnect and reconnect once the pressure was removed. I went ahead and sent out for a warranty replacement.

Also would HTC Desire charger work with it? (the sticks looks same - microUSB, but looks like the phone is not charging)
Also if the phone is dead, is there any way i can check if the battery/screen or whatever else is faulty?
When i connect it under Windows with USB cable, it says that the device cannot be recognized and the drivers cannot be installed.
When connected with USB, i did hold the power button to turn it on but it doesnt start and the phone keeps vibrating continuusly.
Look on the back, or inside, even under battery, for more information.
I already know it's Samsung Galaxy Mini II, homever i have issues turning it on.
All microusb chargers are the same except for amperage. Try all you have. This phone is probably terminally damaged, but try a new battery if possible.
It's really strange (the phone was little wet) homever, sometimes it's starting just fine and sometimes wont turn on at all.
I have removed battery and put it to the bowl with a rice for a night and will see if that helps.
My "dampness" recovery is to disassemble and put phone/tab/laptop in in very low oven ie 125-135 degrees F for several hours. You may have ti turn oven on & off manually to get that low temperature. Your mileage may vary.
OK so basically the phone is in following state:
It's charging fine, homever the biggest problem atm is i cannot get the usb mass storage to work.
I'm connecting it to the PC and the phone is detecting it as AC charger not USB - PC is not even trying to install any drivers.
PC is not detecting the phone at all (phone is detecting that its being connected, the button backlights are lighting up)
I got no dropdown in the phone to select charging, mass storage etc. (when i do it in settings/communication/usb settings it keeps saying to connect the usb cable, but the phone is charging so its connected just fine)
When i was connecting it for the first time windows tried to install drivers but failed, also it was constantly disconnecting the phone from usb cable (now its fine it seems)
When i connect it using "Kies Air" it's working homever i still dont see the SD Card in "My Computer" for example.
What a mess, anyway any idea how to get the USB working again?
Try different cable, and/or different PC.
I ordered new usb cable, homever i doubt it's the problem as the phone is recognizing connection and also it's charging fine.
I've had my OPO for a little over 7 months now. My issue began when I had my desktop at a friend's house and plugged my phone into a USB 3.0 port to grab some videos off the phone when the phone suddenly shut off and would not turn back on. I thought it was bricked somehow but after leaving it plugged into a USB 2.0 port for some time, the charging screen came on and I was able to turn the phone on, but since then both OTG and MTP/PTP transfer doesn't work. If/when the phone is plugged into a computer, it gives an error and Device Manager shows
"Port_#0001.Hub_#0004 Unknown USB Device (Port Reset Failed)" and I'm not only able to charge the phone with one out the dozens of micro usb cables I have. I've tried several cables and a handful of different computers and OSs (Windows 7,8,8.1,10, Ubuntu 15.04, Kali Linux) all to the same result.
I'm running COS 12.1-YOG4PAS3JL, rooted, and have TWRP installed. The phone doesn't show up when in Fastboot mode or the bootloader either. Nothing changes when I disable or enable USB Debugging as well. With DriveDroid if I set the USB system to "Standard Android" the phone reboots and that seems like the closest I've been able to get to any kind of progress. I've gone through unbricking threads as well as Googled until my fingers bled but I'm yet to find anyone with a similar situation where the phone isn't bricked, the micro usb port isn't broken, I can't pick between MTP or PTP mode (USB Connection just says USB is now disconnected), and I'm not running a custom ROM. I tried replacing the micro usb on the phone so I now know that it wasn't that that's been messed up but I'm not sure where to go from here. Any suggestions or help is greatly appreciated.
I was buy android phone 9 days ago.
First case, my battery indicator stuck on 50%, after use or charge only stuck on 50%.
Second case, when i connect my phone to pc, nothing happen, only charging indicator.. Nothing popup mtp or storage device option or something.. I have enable usb debugging on developer option.
And another testing, I try connect my usb OTG type-C, but my phone cant detect my otg..
What should i do to fix this issue? This is bugs on my ROM or from my usb type-C phone connector broken?

Stuck with TWRP and "No OS installed".
Btw, I can't insert ROM files to my device, because my phone cant recognize my pc or transfer data via usb..
feels life on flintstones century, disconnect communication from all my friend more than 3 days :'(
My phone do not react to charger and usb headphones when android is on.
If I switch off phone (not just reboot), and then boot with charger/phones connected, it works fine but till next replug. So usb port is working, bus some issue happened.
Tryed to clean port did not helped.
It is happening to me now as well... Did you find a solution for this?
