We are looking for a web developer for a site that is already constructed. We need someone that can work out the remaining bugs as well as maintain the site as it grows. We need a devoted developer to work on our project and they will need to be able to work along with our Mobile APP developer in order to finish that side as the API is not yet constructed. You must be fluent in C# and Asp.net as that is how the site is written. We are offering compensation and will provide that if you are interested.

The recent changes over the last few years of mobile supporting more and more mobile web run-time environments, I am getting closer and closer to native devices.
It's been fun tinkering with native apps, but what I really like to do is Web Apps and front-end/back-end support. But because of time constraints I really need to stick to the server environment. Anyways, I just want to put out there that if someone needs some web server management coding for their App I am interested in partnering with developers or for some contract work. I have done allot of work for adult/porn and looking to get away from that and get in to something more in to something more marketable.
I can also work with any API and also do any runtime widgets for nokia/android/netfront/opera
I can be contacted Via ICQ:268731675 or more contacts ca be found at http://my.opera.com/jasonnavarro/blog/
Thanks,
Jason
I'm not sure where to put this, or even if it's appropriate for XDA, but I love this community and I know there are a lot of talented developers here, so I figured I'd try. If I can't do this here, please slap me on the wrist and lock the thread. I'm hoping that's not the case though.
If you've ever wanted to be the man behind the idea, here's your chance.
I'm in the process of building a proposal to Boulder, Co TechStars to get funding (micro-investment) for a new web project (I'm a developer and a salesman ;-D), but they recommend you play your powers, and have at least a team of two (they rarely accept single founders), so I'm looking for a cofounder. If you like the project and it takes off, 50% of everything is yours. No red tape, no gimmicks.
This will be HARD. It's a big project and you don't get paid until the project launches (don't worry, I won't either haha). Consider this a night-light project until it launches.
I need someone with experience in the following
LAMP, including PHP and MySQL development
HTML, CSS, XHTML, DHTML
Javascript/jQuery
API's/XML/SOAP
RSS
Domain Wildcards and CNAME
Java, smali/baksmali and everything else involved in Android development (which I don't think anyone here will have a problem with)
Objective-C for iPhone
GeoData/Geolocation and Geo-integration
Prefer experience (but nowhere near required) also in:
XCode for iPhone development
Extended JS libraries
C#
J2ME/Mobile development
XNA / Visual Studio (for XBOX!)
Dreamweaver (Yeah, I know.... but it's easy to collaborate, easier to navigate than Aptana, more free-form and cheaper than Zend - we're on a budget and a timeline)
Screen Readers/section 508, accessibility
There will be no monetary compensation until either the project launches or we get funded by techstars - and IF we get funded by techstars for techstars 2011, you'll need to spend 3 months in Boulder for the event while we get funding, resources and mentorship for the project, so again, please be ready for this to be a night-light project for awhile, but if you're ready for it - reply with some information about you (or send me a private message), with your skills and history and the kind of time you have to devote to this project
The project is already patent pending, and if you want to discuss it at length you'll need to sign an NDA.
As for the XDA community - I love you guys and once we're in a functioning alpha, we'll selectively pick XDA users to test and give us feedback, beta will be open to all XDA members for free, and once we go live, beta testers get a free account for life.
well, i’ll start off by explaining myself. I’m a second year software engineering student. The Stage one of my degree focused on the fundamental computing principles, where i stuied six modules ;- computer systems, computer communications, internet technology, software engineering, problem-solving and programming and computing mathematics.
In stage two my degree specialises to develop further areas within software engineering. Studies include formal specification of software systems, internet programming, software engineering group project and systems design and development.
Anyhow thats enough about me. I’m currently seeking a similar minded/age junior software developer whom are willing to work along side me in order to contribute towards a software solutions company, as i’ve got some funding to start my own company and will be willing to employ about 6 people as a start off to do some programming ,the more language(java,c++, javascripts, html, UML, XML…etc) you know the better, must be socialble and able to work within a group as most of the work will be team based. If this sounds interesting to you then please feel free to email me for more details with a portfolio attached.
Almost forgot, you must have some coding background before applying.

That's nice sir, but not here, please read the forum rules. Try the off topic threads and or want adds. Thank you and Thread closed.
In developing countries one of the main problems aspiring web developers might face is the high cost of purchasing a laptop and getting a stable internet connection also in developed countries, lack of cell signals in the subway can pose a problem when you want to quickly edit a website(as a freelancer) as most website builders are online (wix, boomer, wordpress etc).
With OVO Web this can now be done offline and in the palm of your hands. This app attempts to edit website templates in a process I call "touch and edit" where HTML elements are clicked (on the rendered template) and their css properties/HTML contents are edited. Edited template can be published to local drive folder, ftp server or github pages .The app also comes bundled with free responsive template to get you started.
Do share your thoughts, complaints, bugs, and ways to make the app better

Thanks MrRiko, we are a team of android developers, currently focused on improving the app(fixing bugs) and adding more features so we can't give SEO tips. If you however wanna convert your website to an android native mobile app then we can help you
True GlenCurtis, that is why we wanna make it simpler with this app, it may not be perfect but we are getting there
We have a website where we review pianos. We need a developer who can convert our website into an android app. Any developer up for this?

Need to be musically inclined?
Hi!
If you have web page then it might not be difficult to do it yourself - if you have some scripting / development experience, then it could be better and you'll save money . There are several ways to do it.
PWA - some changes in the current webpage and then it could be installed on your device. Drawback - the most limited functionality.
Cross platform frameworks such as React Native / Xamarin. One code for many platforms. The best if the functionalities are cross platform (you can do more useful staff in Android)
Natively, but you have to take care of two separate solutions each time you make changes. On the other hand, you get all native device functionalities.
Maybe you'll try yourself .
