[Q] How to disable internal speakers when connected to Bluetooth device? - Nexus 5 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

When connected to a bluetooth device in car mode, I'd like to force all audio to the car bluetooth speakers and mute the internal speakers. Problem is, I don't see a mechanism to mute the internal speakers while not affecting the bluetooth volume in either Llama or Tasker. Does anyone know how this could be done or a Tasker/Locale plugin that has this functionality?

[Q] Bluetooth Headset Problem

I want to use Spype on my G Tablet - bought myself a bluetooth headset. I can connect no problem (can even toggle it on and off with the home screen button application) it beeps indicating the connection.
But when I do calls I doesn't use the mic and speaker of the headset. Matter of fact it seems like it messed up with my audio setting because my built-in speakers don't seem to work anymore.
Any thoughts?
Sometimes I have the same issue. If you want speakers back, try disconnecting from the Bluetooth device. If that doesn't fix it, just reboot. I just posted another comment about the impossibility to use a bluetooth headset, not just for output, but for audio input also. I guess this is because there's no HSP or HFP bluetooth profiles implemented on the g tablet, just a2dp, which is why it just can stream audio to an output device, like a bluetooth stereo headset or car audio. BTW, I discovered this when trying to achieve exactly what you tried to do, making calls using Skype.

[Q] Manually enable/disable internal mic with headphones plugged in?

This is a rather common question, but the resolution always seems to be 'get a new cable'
I have a headset, which DOES have a microphone, but the mic on it is broken. Instead of going out and buying a new headset, is there any software anyone has seen to take manual control of which mic is enabled when a headset is plugged in?
I have tasker, but it seems there's only an option for "Microphone Mute", which doesn't differentiate between the headset and the internal.
Ask NSA....because i search that in entire internet and i do not find anything about to disable-enable the internal microphone on an android phone....

Selectively disabling A2DP

Does anyone know a way to selectively or situationally disable A2DP? Tasker doesn't do it natively, and I haven't found an app or plugin to do it.
Here's the situation. I do not have bluetooth in my car. I run a Note 2 dock with integrated audio output running to my car's aux in. I have bluetooth headphones that I run constantly for media and handsfree. The problem is that when I plug into the dock, the media still tries to play over the headset instead of the dock output. Turning off the headset takes away handsfree, and it's too cumbersome to enable and disable A2DP through the bluetooth settings every time.

[Q] Bluetooth device management?

Do you know of any application that manages your bluetooth connections?
Here's what I'm talking about, I have bluetooth headphones, several speakers and my car that all are connected to my phone and I'm having several small issues.
- As soon as I turn on bluetooth it tries to automatically tries to connect to these certain speakers, I don't want that and don't know how to stop it.
- If I'm in my car, my phone connected to my car for calls and I'm listening to music through the headphone jack but it will automatically connect to a set of bluetooth speakers in my home when get home and pull into the driveway. So music will play through those speakers instead of my headphone jack. I obviously don't want that either.
-Titanium Backup never restores my bluetooth connection either so if there is an application that can save those too that would be helpful.

Pick Bluetooth Audio

Is there a easy way without opening up Bluetooth connections to disconnect my Bluetooth headset ?
The problem is I maybe playing a game and listening to audio from the game and for some reason the headset kicks in. "The On/Off switch of my Bluetooth handset is not great"
I lose my Audio my phone, then I got to open the Bluetooth connections and disconnect the headset.
Sometimes I want the device to ignore Bluetooth accessories and just use the internal speaker; my old OnePlus this was easy but not so much with the Pixel 4a.
Got to be so annoying I am thinking about buying a new headset.
