I bought a Love Mei case a few months ago and it holds my spen about 1/4 of an inch out of my phone. The constant notification was annoying, so I went on a quest for a solution.
Settings - > general - > application manager - > all - > click on PageBuddySvc and uncheck the notification checkbox.
I don't think this is a repost. I have found this buried in different threads around here, but it was hard to find. Hope it helps someone.

Page buddy is also responsible for the Headphones connection notifications. So if that no longer appears, you know why.
Just a heads-up.

Hi been using this baby for a 2 weeks now LTE version. Just wondering if there is any LED on them afaik there is none that I know of. How could they miss that feature! anyways, what apps are u guys using for notification beside dynamic notification app?
It doesn't have one. Works out better that way for me tho. No more LED flashing at night. Probably save a tiny bit of battery too. If the lack of LED really bothers you you can download some apps that uses camera flash for notification.

None of the Samsung tablets have a notification LED. They never did.
I'm not using a SIM yet, and sync is off, so it does not bother me. (except the charging/charged, that I miss.)

You do realize that's also a factory included accessibility setting? Under settings > device > accessibility > hearing > flash notification.

doesn't seems to flash anything. im not sure which apps is causing it either.

You do realize that only works on native apps and not 3rd parties on all samsung tablets & phones.
Since recent upgrade. I am unable to locate the quiet hour settings.
Am I missing them, did they hide them, or just remove them.
Thank you

If you go into settings > sounds > interruptions, quiet hours should be at the bottom of that menu, its now called downtime
Thank you. I thought that I looked through all of the setting.
Again, thank you

Anyone noticing LG Keyboard crashing??? It happens pretty often. I tried to clear the data but evidently on marshmallow you can go. Yet but you cannot clear any data.

Ahhhhh that's what I was looking for. Its slightly different on Lollipop. I expected the data option to be next to force stop.
Many thanks!

Well I thought that was clear the problem as it is supposed to but the keyboard application on my phone is still crashing from time to time..
Can anyone confirm this? Or, even better, anyone have solution for this problem?
I disabled every battery optimisation I found, including the following:
- Settings > Apps > Settings > Special access > Ignore optimisations
- "locked" Strava in recent apps menu
I read a lot about this with different Huawei phones, somehow I hopped the problem is fixed on Mate 9...
You might want to approach the developer. Most people never bother. Drop them a quick email.

I did that now, thanks for an idea
You can only try the developer, but they may need help from Huawei to find out where the problem is in the phone.
And Huawei will never help. They have an answer to all questions about app problems - "We do not support any apps."
yeah, same problem with me..had an ascend p7..and now a mate 7..crashes after the first phone unlock...couldn't find any fix for a couple of years or so...
Huawei mate 9 Strava recording issues.
After optimising the battery I changed the Strava settings so the screen stays on whilst riding. This appears to have worked at least for my last 2 rides

Hi guys,
Is any tricks I don't know to enable mini screen view?
Checked so many times settings-smart assistance-one hand UI-mini screen view ON. Still nothing. Any ways to fix it?
Thank you.

Settings > Smart Assistance > One hand UI > Mini screen view
Swipe left or right along the bottom navigation bar.

works perfect for me....
I have the same issue. Despite the setting being turned on, it doesn't work.
It's deactivated itself because of some other setting I have enabled, but I haven't figured out which one yet. The reason I know this, is because I set up a second 'guest' user and when I log in to that profile (which I haven't done any setting adjustments to) it works.

Is your Magnification Gestures setting on? Advanced Settings > Accessibility > Magnification gestures. I had it turned on earlier and found the mini screen view not working. On a hunch, I turned it off and voila, the mini screen is back.

Yes! That fixed it. I cannot believe the time I have spent trying to figure what setting breaks the mini screen. Thanks mate.

No problem. I'm learning every day. Only had my Mate 9 for two days and I've come across 2 problematic/clashing areas already. One being this and the other being the OK Google voice recording thingy.

I think the voice issue was due to be fixed in an imminent release. I only see this issue when using voice recorder or in the camera app when using voice control. In both cases everything works OK but you just get the annoying banner. I just ignore it. You can always temporarily disable OK Google voice prompt.

I ended up uninstalling the latest Google update for now and the annoying pop-up is gone. Will be waiting for the fix when it comes in.
Got similar problem with regular Mate 10 (not pro nor lite). Any idea how to fix it?... there is no magnification menu.
