if you have a voice control or an old s-voice delete it first then copy it to system/app or system/preload depending on the ROM ( if your not on stock) and dont forget to set the permissions

Can you tell me what files u deleted...? I have deleted accuweather.odex and accuweather_main.odex files

i tried using the weather widget on touchwhizdream ROM but it doesn't show up but S voice works fine. I pushed the apk to system app and renamed the old one to bak file but still no go. Any suggestions?

S-voice sucks on my device. No responce after passing command...
S3 S-Voice is best compairing with this dump.
I'm in Glory v4 Rom.. after cleaning cache n dalcik cache no luck.. moving back to old s3 svoice..

Mine is from the S4 dump, so it's the same.
s Voice is completely useless but fun to play with. the lady promised me something will happen tonight - I only greeted her with "Good evening"
Other apps don't work (of course) because of missing dependencies - have to play with these a little bit more.

buddy, just tried installing in Cm10.1 of Digital clock but while pushing it in /system.
Keyboard can be pushed also. BTW, lots of is to b added. I think soon we will have compatible with Cm10.1.

Were all the apps modified to work on older roms? A normal install won't work as they're all for 4.2.2 (and TW).

As I promised, this is the Awesome Note app you have seen on Galaxy Note 8.0 or N5110 video demos. Just extracted the system.img file and had to do nothing, lol, the apk is working straight outta it.
Working absolutely fine on my Note 2, haven't had much time to play with it though.

not really working on my Nexus 7. running CM10.1. taking notes by typing it out works fine, but any attempt at adding drawings or photos causes the app to Force Close. also, when you open the sample notes the app comes with, clicking on the note causes the app to Force Close.
shame, as it has a decent UI, IMO, and cause it has a tablet interface. i went into recovery and fixed permissions, cleared cache and dalvik, still did nothing.
should i have tried to installed it as a system app?

Random FCs on my AT&T Note 2 running AOCP. It invariably crashes if I go into settings. I'd include a log, but the xda app won't let me.

Is root required to install on the Note 2 or just like installing any other app, outside of the play store (e.g. make sure that settings allow for installing outside apps)?

Hey guys, this is my first thread on XDA!
There are not many S5 apps for 4.3 here...
SO Today, I want share some apps from the S5 which work correctly and the SystemUI.apk (Thanks to Zyr3) which look like the SystemUI from the S5. They have been tested on S3 i9305 LTE. I hope they work for all the 4.3 devices, you can test on your phone.
Don't say "There is a special section for the S5 apps" because most of the S5 apps don't work for 4.3, and the S3 i9305 in particular.

S5 Download Provider
S5 Messages
S5 Music (with widget on the homescreen and lockscreen)
S5 MyFiles
S5 Phone
S5 Settings (from Revolutionary S5 V3)
S5 Voice Recorder
and SystemUI.apk and S Finder (you need S Finder if you want SystemUI to work correctly)
DON'T INSTALL THE APPS AS NORMALLY APPS. JUST COPY AND PASTH THE APPS IN THE System/app FOLDER!
Just choose the apps of your choice :silly:

Juste copy and pasth the apk or try to install... I don't really know why it didn't work

I've had a quick look at these files before flashing. It appears that most of them are from a I9300XXUGNA7 Firmware (in other words a custom S3 ROM), in other words they are not genuine S5 Apps.
In other words, the core files like Contacts, Download Provider, Messages, Phone, Settings and SystemU are just modded S3 files.
So, I do have one question, which ROM did you rip these from?? There is no credit but I can only assume they're from Revolutionary S5. Does the dev know you've done this??

There is juste the SecSettings.apk which is from the Revolutionary S5 rom. For the other apk, i had founded them on Internet.
And sure, this is maybe S3 modded files, but they make my phone look like the S5, so...

The only thing is though, people are going to read the description where you state that the apk's are S5 and think that that's what they're getting, when they're not!
It may be a good idea to change the OP around a bit and tidy up the descriptions

@Arfy34 please fully clarify the issues about the real origin, credits and all other stuff. And as @sevsman mentioned, clear up the OP so no one gets confused by the thread title.

If you want to S5 apps, stick to AMCHA ROM v5.00, all apps included except File manager.

none of them worked for me.

Ok, so this is a Note 4 stock ROM port with S5 features? Or S5 ROM with Note 4 apps in it? I just want to have the new spen features of the Note 4...
