I was just wondering what version is Polaris Office on the Note? I want to know if it has been updated since the Galaxy S2 version

u can download any of the roms and copy the apk from the system/app folder

I was going to try this but I don't know a reliable ROM for the Note as I'm not familiar with them and I don't want to download a "slimmed" down ROM

If you go to settings /about / in polaris there is an update button... Nevertheless still no update later than the one mentioned in my previous post.

Managed to download the Note version, everything seems similar to mine although mine has Google Doc support but then the Note one is HD :/

My LA4 N7000 note PO version is 3.0.3118.36 FV03
There is at least one major bug in XLS plotting which causes me grief, plus its inability to play integrated videos in Powerpoint presentations, or even embedded sounds is a real pain.

if you're asking if it will work on non touchwiz roms, I'm not sure as I only use roms based on tw.
the prev version worked on cm9, etc, but not cm10 or any jellybean.
if you're not on touchwiz maybe you can test & report back for us? or wait for someone else to do it.

Works great on SGS2!

Working great on GT-N7000. No FC. I'm on RocketMIUI v3.
I just installed the apk and it works but I guess it depends on weather the libs are present in the ROM. Rocket ROM had it preinstalled.
EDIT: Works perfect on Iconia A500 tablet which had Polaris preinstalled in the ROM too.

FC cm10 nightly hydra kernel.

Can you tell me the source of the file? Is it for poor note? I am asking it because when I am checking for update from polaris office 3, it is showing no update available.

from gs3,
the update feature in v3 won't work with the note as this version was meant to be exclusive to the s3 & poss' the note 2.

Try this (I haven't tried yet):
Extract library from apk
Put them (the four *.so files) in system/lib with correct permissions
Delete library folder from apk
Put the apk In system/app with correct permissions
Reboot

Worth a try!
If anyone does try this method, don't forget to re-sign the apk after editing.

if you have a voice control or an old s-voice delete it first then copy it to system/app or system/preload depending on the ROM ( if your not on stock) and dont forget to set the permissions

Can you tell me what files u deleted...? I have deleted accuweather.odex and accuweather_main.odex files

i tried using the weather widget on touchwhizdream ROM but it doesn't show up but S voice works fine. I pushed the apk to system app and renamed the old one to bak file but still no go. Any suggestions?

S-voice sucks on my device. No responce after passing command...
S3 S-Voice is best compairing with this dump.
I'm in Glory v4 Rom.. after cleaning cache n dalcik cache no luck.. moving back to old s3 svoice..

Mine is from the S4 dump, so it's the same.
s Voice is completely useless but fun to play with. the lady promised me something will happen tonight - I only greeted her with "Good evening"
Other apps don't work (of course) because of missing dependencies - have to play with these a little bit more.

Hi! This is not a big deal but i thought I would share it because it works for me (i've tried other flashable zips and what not but none of them worked for me...) and it's amazing to have the photosphere function on a 13MP camera!!
I have extracted the .apk, file for the leaked 4.3 Android Camera from the newly leaked, ported Android 4.3 I9505GUEUBMFP ROM. It has only been tested on my phone (Galaxy S4 LTE GT I9505), and on my "uberphone" (Galaxy NOTE 2 N7100). It works on both!!

(UPDATED)INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:
1.Download the GalleryGoogle.apk file from the link above.
2. Install it as a normal .apk file by just clicking on it

Note1: THIS WORKS ON THE INTERNATIONAL GALAXY NOTE 2 (GT N7100) model as well . Per users reports it also works perfectly on the octa version of the S4 (I9500), on Galaxy S3, Galaxy S2 and Galaxy Nexus so far. It doesnt work for sure on my wife's ZOPO ZP810 lol
Note2: This doesn't replace or remove the original Samsung Camera and they both function independently without any problems!! You will have 2 camera and 2 gallery apps.... Unless you are already on an AOSP Rom... in which case, you prob dont need this anyway
Note3: For some reason when you record the image you see is blurry, even though the end result is fine...Also, no option to save in External SD and no HDR recording unfortunately Photosphere, editing and the rest work PERFECTLY!!
Note4: For the majority of users just installing the .apk file i provided above works. For anyone who is having problems with just installing the .apk file, you can flash via custom recovery the following .zip file: https://www.dropbox.com/s/qn463sc7ceoio0e/4.3Camera.zip It contains the app files as well as the necessary lib files for the Google Camera...

I always encourage testing especially when worst case scenario is that the app wont work and you will have to manually remove the files you copied... No possibility of bricking your phone I really dont believe!!

You make it so complicated
All you need to do is install a camera app from stock android version of galaxy 4, easy to find online
And you'll have a secondary camera/gallery app with full working sphere.
Don't need to replace or paste any additional files.

My friend that way didn't work for me. It was functioning but always getting a FC when trying to use the photosphere feature... There's also a very very easy way, a flashable zip file in another thread, that works for a lot of users, but didn't work for me unfortunately... That's why Im sharing an alternative...

That's strange, I have it on mine, running
All looks fine, gallery feels faster. However, focus and repeated shots are faster on Samsung camera app.

Im sorry im not sure what you are asking... The camera does work fine with no problems. And it is the stock google camera from the leaked Android 4.3 Rom... Everything you need to know and the minor bugs are in th OP. Thanks

I think so, even though it allows you to choose the highest MP (i.e. 13MP)....
IMO the Samsung camera is way ahead of this but this makes the whole package complete with the photosphere feature... It's like the best of 2 worlds...

not all of them some can be installed like normal apps, as i said its reference and i dont have an n7000 ,

Installing S Translator and S note is Impossible.
Can't install S note and S Translator (Parsing error). Mainly cause of this error is that both of these apps are build to run on higher API level 18 or above i.e Kitkat..(or Android 4.3 Jellybean). And also we can't port them because both of these apps are deeply integrated with framework, lib files and other permissions of higher API level Android. Except that we can enjoy other stuffs like wallpaper and ringtones ..but thanks for your helping reference thread.
