After changing the dpi, I keep receiving an error message when booting up - Nexus 5 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

"Unfortunately the process com.android.systemui has stopped working" greets me every time I boot up from a power on or from recovery mode. After clicking ok, everything goes back to normal, but the tiny little message popping up still annoys me. This only started to happen when I changed the dpi from 480 to 380 on my Nexus. Currently running CM 11 with Xposed framework.
Any ideas?

[Q] CM7/ com.android.phone Loop Errors

I love the ROM, when it works. At first I had a few apps that force closed, figured it might be a compatibility issue. Now I am getting a com.android.phone closing unexpectedly error, I press force close, it pops up again in about 2 seconds. I have rebooted, and it's still there. I can't do anything with the phone on because the error message won't go away. Very frustrated...

Problem- process keeps on force quiting

i dont know why but all of a sudden every few minutes when i use the tablet it will all of a sudden freeze and the error "Unfortunately, the process com.google.process.gapps has stopped" i am just on stock rooted and i didnt change any system files around. it doesnt seem to have any effect outside of the freeze, but its still really annoying. any ideas short of doing a factory reset?
Hi, i started getting with with the team alliance ROM, factory reset and clear Dalvik, came back after a while. Switched to latest rooted stock, same as you, started getting it again. Seems to be a bit random, haven't been able to tie it to anything specific and luckily it doesnt happen that often at all.

[PROBLEM] : My apps crash on startup..

Hello guys,
I've a big problem.. When I power my smartphone (an LG D373EU), "Unfortunately, Home (or com.android.systemui, or UI system, or Settings) has stopped." :crying:
I try several times to make hard reset but it changes nothing and it continues ti disp "Unfortunately (APP) has stopped". And this error message is spam until I restart my device.
If you have any idea for how to fix it , answer me quickly .
N.B.: this is not a ROM custom, is just a root device since one year. Sometimes, when I'm reboot my device, my status bar appears and mean my phone can by use normaly. But about 1 hour later apps start again to crash..
Hoping someone will have an answer. (Sorry for my bad english :fingers-crossed

System UI has stopped?

Hey guys need a little help with a problem I'm having. Got an S6 running 6.0.1 G920FXXS3DPF2 can't even get past the pattern unlock screen without the error "System UI has stopped working" I could probably fix it with a factory restore but I don't want to lose any data. Never been rooted, stock recovery menu.
Usb debugging is off, Wiping the cache gets me back tO the home screen with the message "The system UI has stopped" but I can see everything behind the message load up, I just can't interact with it. From then on if I reboot without clearing cache the message won't appear but my background wallpaper will just flash from to black to that every couple of seconds while being unresponsive.
Any one know anyway I can save my data at least? Got a couple of 2factor authentication apps that would be a ***** to lose.

fooView error with "Unfortunately, System UI has stopped"

fooView is one of my favorite apps.
It worked great in my last phone - Samsung Note4.
However, it could not work in my new rooted Zenfone 3 Ultra.
Whenever I try to capture certain area on my android screen, it failed with message "Unfortunately, System UI has stopped".
Has anyone got the same problem?
Or any good suggestion to deal wth it?
Thank you !
Suddenly I have the same problem
You received no replies for your problem since posting 2017.
Did you ever solve this glitch? If so, how?
After behaving flawlessly for 1.5 years, suddenly my fooView crashes in exactly same manner, after I frame (free-hand) any screen region using longpressed yellow frame. The fooView icon churns midscreen for a few seconds (never before) then Android spits out the "Unfortunately, System UI has stopped" message.
