Anyone know where to get a mother/logic board?
I have a spare S4 with a broken mother board. I've seen a few on eBay.
Anyone know other places besides eBay?

If you can make your way to china, there are thousands of shops that sells them, you can virtually build a new phone.:fingers-crossed:
I've bought many spares from china, from S3 to note 2, since i've sold the phones, I have all them just lying around.

Not in China and live WAY to far from China to make a trip just for a motherboard. Sigh. I guess I'm out of luck.

Yeah the main board. I haven't read anything about programming. I just want a new motherboard for T-Mobile, with a clean IMEI. The ones I found on eBay match my needs but for 200-300$ I can buy a brand new or used S4 on Craigslist

Modifying your IMEI number is illegal in most parts of the world, therefore not allowed to be discussed in the forums. Posts discussing this subject have been removed.

I was thinking of biting the bullet and going to a sprint store...........but nah
for the price of buying one at the sprint store, you could buy 6 generics and a 3 at once charger. 22 bucks on ebay.
there is always the chance they will just give you one at the sprint store too. you never know. if it is a service and repair center, they might have a bunch of extras laying around from sendbacks.
i have 6 of those generics id prefer the oem
and I meant from sprint store bundled with the charger
The charger/cord that came with the epic is crap. I use my old HD2 charger/cord. You don't want that thing.
meant this
http://www.bonanza.com/booths/Creekle/items/Samsung_Galaxy_Spare_Battery_Charger_Dock_Epic_4G_D700
well, details in the first post as to what your looking for are good, but like you, i like to take 3 posts to explain my self too. i guess you found what you are looking for. thread closed now?
no i meant i was gonna get this but its way too much
i was inquiring as to finding a genuine one online cheaper
You won't.
Search using the oem battery model number. I found an OEM battery and the charger case for around $20 bucks.

I say try this, back when I had an HTC Touch I was given an extra battery twice when I took my phone in for repair.
Try this:
http://www.globaldirectparts.com/OEM-Samsung-Epic-4G-SPH-D700-Battery-p/smsng6085410.htm
I mean at the sprint store I work at, we tend to just give new batteries to those who complain about bad drain for free.
I found it for ten bucks less on amazon.

The link you gave had it for $35. Do you want just the battery or the battery dock bundle?
Why are you guys doing all the work for this one? There is a little site called google. Try to copy and paste the model number of the dock you want in the search bar. Trust me. It works.
Now what's the next q? Let me guess. Where do I find that?

So, I'm fully aware of the inflated cost and won't oblige, but if I found one on a site that was very close in price, what are the drawbacks? Is there a difference with warranty since it wasn't purchased on my account?
No.

hi folks
am after a little help please. i am looking to buy the 64gb version of this phone if i can get an invite. but that is NOT what this thread is about. Im a little confused over the pricing structure and was hoping some folks could explain it to me and maybe say what they did?
Ok so i looked here http://oneplus.net/one and the price shows as $349 which converts to about £215. great that looks like an awesome price for this spec. Im sold and now i want one.
However, this morning whilst doing my usual reading and searching i happened upon this http://oneplus.net/uk/one which shows the price as £269?!?! Ok so now i am confused. there appears no difference between the phones linked and they are both apparently from the same official source. SO why the huge price difference??? Could i not just buy from the first link and save 20% or would they not ship the phone to england if i buy from that page, or worst still would i get hit with huge custom charges? If it just means the shipping takes longer than the price would justify the wait.
Sorry for the questions but im really on the edge about buying this phone and for £215 im sold but at £269 well thats a different sale i need to make to the missus lol.
Thanks for looking and for any help advice you can offer,

Its because of tax reasons, haven't you noticed that tech is expensive in the UK?
The US is generally the cheapest place to get tech.
So do you think I'd be able to buy it from the first link and pay the same price as they do in the u.s.? Tyia

Price in UK is £269. Including VAT. If you buy in USD, I think you'd have to have it delivered to the US. £269 is still a fantastic price though...

Cant argue with you that its a fantastic price. but id managed to convince the other half when it was £215 but boy does she love to disagree with me :crying:
SO i presume then if i order it through the usd link they either wont send it or will simply add the tax on at customs or something?
Cheers for the replies folks.

helpful? How could it be?
My question was why are there two different prices listed for this phone one in gbp and one in dollars. And can i or anyone in the uk purchase the phone and pay in dollars? If its possible would anyone here know if we would have to pay customs duty?
With that restated you have attempted to derail my thread by making it about using the search function.
The first is a link to a comment from opo saying this phone can be purchased in the uk.
Your second link is an off topic thread for folks in the uk. Both not even from xda
The third link is about using the phone on threes network.
The fourth link is about someone asking where the phone can be purchased and appears to end with folks talking about selling/buying on gumtree.
The fifth is about someone asking about how long their order may be in the delivery process.
Would you care to elaborate how that in anyway shape or form answers my question? Or can you answer my question? Or would your searching powers be able to show me the link to that answer?
If not i dont really get what you hoped to achieve with your two posts. And would humbly ask you to please reply no further.
I have just had to waste 5 minutes of my life to respond to your comments which im never gonna get back. If you dont like/agree or have any useful info to provide to a topic please just ignore it!
Apologies to anyone else that has had to read these comments they are pointless and achieve nothing. They will also undoutedly prevent me from getting an answer to my original question.

then fair play and i thank you for your help.
ok guys just in case anyone else comes across this issue i think i know the coup now.
I went online to order the phone via an invite i was kindly given by a member here. It automatically took me to the price in us dollars so i went through the order process and when i tried to pay via paypal. It said i was in the wrong store and it forced me to the uk store and to then pay in gbp. So it did indeed ultimately cost me the extra 20%. I know i could have got it sent to a pal of mine in america but i didn't.
Hope this clarifies the situation for anyone else wondering.
It also applies for €.
Its pretty clear the oneplus/UK site 269 pretty simple? In us its 349 something like that. There's a difference in price because of different vat etc.
I bought a one plus one I'm in UK I managed to understand....
I bought my X from carphone warehouse so its just a standard back cover version. The moto maker website only shows a clam shell case available. Any ideas where its possibly to by different backplates for it?

The thread at the top of the list http://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-x-play/accessories/cover-t3186799 (before you made your post)
has all the information you need. Just wondering if you read through that because the information is already there without this post.
I probably should have clarified that id like to know if there is an option available in the UK. I hate ordering from China for the simple fact I am impatient with the delivery times on there.
I was after a more official item but thanks for pointing the other thread out.
Re-reading that thread I know another reason I didn't bother. They don't fit properly not like the original. But there is a post saying Motorola confirmed they have no plans to sell the backs separately. Shame.
