The wifi doesn't work yet.

Maybe you have to use something from platform/external from Sony? Each kernel source from their site has additional external source, it contain often bluez/bluetooth and related to wifi things

I don't know what kernel the cm10 roms were based on though!

Just tried it. Mobile data doesn't work. Didn't try wifi though.
Edit: Takes a long time to shut down the phone after flashing this.

Cannot connect to fastboot or flashmode either. Please help!
Edit: Okay, somehow I managed to connect to fastboot and flashed hsr0's kernel.

Advice on a fast and reliable Rom for Xperia J?

Guys I'm still on stock rom, it's only rooted but stock recovery and locked bootloader and I'm sick of it.
Now I want to unlock the bootloader, install a custom recovery and flash a good rom.
I tried to collect infos but it's hard on a forum with 4 devices.
Would you please point me where it's explained how to unlock bootloader and to the adviced rom?
What would you suggest, a "stock" 4.1.2 one or a cm11? Are the latter reliable?

From here you have "Q3: How do I unlock the bootloader?" you have link at the end its preti goooood explined,
and you have "Q5: What is the best ROM or kernel?" (it is against the rules) you'll have to try it on your own
Ok, thanks. Another thing not clear to me is if exists a permanent recovery for jb and .31 firmware. I've only found a temporary one...

If i was you i prefer use stock rom (4.1.2)
You can flash vengance kernel and get some OC
And there is a lot mod for the stock rom, like the lockscreen, status bar, etc
Thanks, but what about permanent recovery? Does it exist?

If this rom used the unified kernel for msm8226, then that means D2305 could also be working with it ( RIL will be an important thing to test ). And what do you mean by shutdown not working ? Does it apply to restart too ?

Hahaha nice shot. Thing is - build I released already use unified kernel. Unified as in, works on many devices, not variants (if you took same kernel, flashed it on Z3 it would work).
And by shutdown not working i mean it reboots instead of shutdown.
Oh that, I thought it won't even attempt to reboot. Ok, will flashing this rom in about an hour and let see how this goes
Edit: Flashed it, black screen and vibrating, the same situation as with D2302 users. Btw, can I ask you if D2305 is gonna be in the support list soon

Nice battery life. More expectations from the fully working ROM now @galaxyfreak I still keep track of your github commit, model detection script works now right ?
I think jerplea is not accepting it!
He said that AOSP only supports the single sim LTE model, he didn't say anything about modding it to fit other AOSP-based roms and such
@galaxyfreak is ART run fine on the M2 ? Any downside ?

I flashed it just 30 minutes ago, in TWRP, standard procedure, wipe data/system/dalvik, flash the zip. It looks good so far (had only one crash, the phone rebooted)
Camera is not working of course.
The bugs are the same as in every other 6.0 ROM. (I'm building a few other ROMs for 2303)
Wifi and calls work. Bluetooth, I only turned it on/off, didnt test connectivity. Gps, i think it works too. The light sensor works. Proximity switch doesnt.
