Does some1 use one?
Thinking about this one, there is not that much choice:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Silver-Sync...S_Cell_Phone_PDA_Chargers&hash=item5d43e51200
I have.
It's really neccessary at home.
easy to use
Is the m4 sitting safely and stable? I'm wondering if it's a little bit too wobbly.
I have this one and the USB cable at the back keeps it steady

Does anyone know if you can get a deskstand for the sensation that allows you to have the phone standing upright rather than in landscape?
Looking for one that has integrated charging.
I know I can get one that is just like a car dock, that i just stick it down to the desk but want something a bit more classy

There doesn't seem like there is. I couldn't find any on ebay. But when I had my Sony Ericsson Xperia X1, it had the charging/usb port on the side as well. And what I did was get a case from ebay, I think the seller was in China that made a portrait one but it had a cord from the base that you would need to plug into the side everytime you dock it. Here's a pic.

Thanks for that, had something similar for my x1 when ibhad that and its the sort of thing I'm looking for for my sensation.
Hopefully soon someone will make one so justvgotta keep eye on eBay LOL

the charging dock is on the side (which i hate) so the vertical chargers may be hard to come by for the sensation. "may".
Are there any good ones out there for the sensation?

For docking I think the only thing that work would be the new Philips Fidelio series. But I am not sure how they fare so far. But because of the side dock of our phones, I don't think this would be ideal.
So you are left with just external speakers that plug into the 3.5mm headphone port. Not ideal, but best sound IMO.
But if you are looking for wireless, the Jambox by Aliph (Jawbone) works quite well.
Yeah, I might look into the jam box! Thanks

Ive had this one for a few months now. Very happy with it. Works with any other Bluetooth device also. There's a bunch of different models available. The higher end one had a remote and built in battery.

Here's the higher end one. There's also two other models. Phillips is the only brand that makes android speaker docks at the moment.

Here's a universal car mount I just ordered it for my one x it seems like it will do the job it is also cheaper than the others and I think it will be able to hold a case such as the ballistic SF I will post pics and updates as I get it

If you are going to spend that much I really suggest getting the evo dock from sprint. Works perfectly for me.

If xda-developers made a phone, what would it's features be?
I'll start.
Dual microsd card slots. (1 can be mapped to ram expansion.)
Optional snap-on fold-out QWERTY keyboard.
Single touchscreen on outside that unfolds to reveal dual touchscreens on the inside.
HDMI out.
FM radio.
USB host.
Solar cells (from old calculators) for trickle charging.
Anything more?
Anything less?
If we control the hardware, we can better control the software.

Also. Why haven't we done this already?

The list would be endless if xda made a phone, probably the CIA or the military would want first dibbs on the phone

It would be nice to have a phone that's combined with sence , aosp/aokp/cm10 , and samsungs style ... like cherry pick all the top features

The problem with that would be copyrights. We would have to make sure everything is open source.
I like your idea to make it cyanogenmod or aokp, so we could just update it when a new version comes out...

Yah I totally understand ... I like the pac-man ROM I'm using its pretty kool ... that's a good concept of cherry picking from that team ... I'm using it on my HTC one s

Physical bottoms.
Physical bottoms.
Touch bottoms are cool... but.. can be touched by accidental, or can be very sensitive.
Physical bottoms is better, from my point of view.
I absolutely agree.
_________
And devs should try making a phone for sure.
Immagine how cash friendly it will be!
And why would cia look into this?

Hey everyone. A sad time indeed. My 1yr old doing his exploring has thrown my beloved one s down the stairs and broke her the case cracked open and some insides were broken. Only faults I can find so far are that my sound no longer works. Speaker nor headset so I am looking to replace her. I bought her the first day T-Mobile released the one s and loved her since having rooted her and running a great 4.2.2 ROM on her since she never left ICS.
Though it brings me to near tears to ask this, does anyone have any recommendations for a new phone? I heard something about a new HTC one series and other thoughts are nexus 4 and galaxy s4. I prefer top of the line devices but easy to root and good ROM supports are a must.

No replies? Hmm damn.
I've narrowed it to either the Nexus 4 or the SG3 if I don't decide to just replace my One S Lol. I really am in love with this phone.

It completely depends on your preference. Hardware is constantly evolving and so are options. You say you love your one s but you need to ask yourself what you love about it. If you love the comfortable sense feeling, you could look into the new htc one, though sense 5 is a vast difference from previous versions. If you want the best hardware on the market go with the s4. If you like the smaller size check out the nexus 4. Personally, I would recommend the S4. Guaranteed huge rom support and as top of the line as you could get this year. Do some research and see what fits you. Im a Note 2 user of about 3 months and love it more every day.

If you can wait a little longer Google will announce the new Motorola X series, perhaps this can be of promise as well.

If you want build quality (emphasis - it is stunning), like HTC's sense rom, want the beats audio/boomsound, and maybe other things I definitely would recommend the HTC One. Even with my perfect-condition One S was contemplating the switch to the One but decided to save money. Since you want a new phone, there's nothing stopping you! The phone is also slightly larger at 4.7" (whereas the One S is 4.3").
Let us know what you choose.
Edit: Awkward didn't realize you had actually bought the Nexus 4 already. Great quality build budget phone that is on the smaller side too. (Just a little outdated as the Nexus 5 is being anticipated but it will still get quick android updates).
