I think Verizon supports the HTC One Max, and also Galaxy Note series. Anything else? How about Galaxy Mega?
I think I want a Phablet, but I want to go bigger than the Note. I would like the HTC One Max, but I can't stand that it only has 2 buttons. Is there any other options out there for Verizon?
Thanks

Verizon has the note 2-3, i think the galaxy mega was for sprint/at&t and international only. the DROID ULTRA is pretty big... (5") the G2 and the Nokia Lumia Icon are Huge too!

Im sorry if this thread annoys anyone.
I have on order teh Galaxy Nexus but im starting to discover other phones and now im having second thought.
If you had the money spare, what phone would you buy?
Im stuck between:
Galaxy Nexus
Galaxy Note
S2 Skyrocket (Is this coming to the UK and when?)
Droid Razr
I want an android. Got rid of my Desire for an iPhone 4 and that was a mistake.
Help
if you don't mind BIG
Galaxy Note is the most BEAST fastest and powerful phone you can buy right now
otherwise if you like sleek & fancy, the Moto Droid Razer is a good choice

i'd take the nexus, and then the galaxy note. no idea how the skyrocket stacks up, and i'm not a fan of moto stuff at all. '
Me (and others i know) have been burned by moto too many times to get another of their devices. It looks like ti just might be the phone to change my mind, but IDK.... too soon to say. the razr is a gamble.
With the nexus you know exactly what you're getting, and while the hardware might not be bleeding edge, the software sure is. also things like NFC = win.
And the galaxy note.... while it might not be cutting edge hardware or software, the ting's huge, epic HD screen, and really good hardware.
also, you want to consider your carrier here as well. razr is only on verizion, note won't be on it, only at&t, maybe tmo.

Without the 42+ 4G network.
From your list the Droid Razr.
But I would go for the HTC Sensation XL or XE, they are awesome and I own the Sensation 4G (T-Mobile US) and it is so freaking awesome

From 2 of my friends , their stock Sensation has hanging issues , and I've heard that the CPU was badly coded

If you are in to getting the latest update on the Androd OS, Galaxy Nexus will be ideal, as Nexus series is getting OTA update from Google directly.

Same from my side...Note is unbeatable
So the Galaxy Note is more powerful than the the Galaxy nexus and the S2 (None LTE version) ?
hi guys
i want to buy a galaxy S2
so should i buy one form At&T or T-Mo or Sprint or globel verson ????
Why buy a S2 when S3 was just released? Or you could buy the HTC One X.
wait for the S3 to come. and the htc one-phones are probably a bit better than the s2. but max. a bit
WAIT for the global galaxy sIII to be released and then buy that
samsung s2
Buy a Galaxy Note
I would Buy a Galaxy note as i had a brand new nexus with official ics and sold it and bourght a note and couldnt go back to a smaller screen then ive rooted and flashed stunner ics i woudnt swap it for any phone now i have a quadrant score of 44130 blows my nexus out the water.massive thanks to all at xda as i knew nothing about phone development untill i stumbled apon this forum and now im flashing custom ics roms
If you must get a GS2, go for the "Skyrocket" model, it's CPU is clocked to 1.5 versus all other models being clocked at 1.2
thanks for the advise but you guys change the topic
i think that S3 is not very impress compare to S2 with the price 600 euro
guys on here telling you get s3.... is nothing so special about s3 apart from faster cpu ....and the design of s2 is much better than s3
Go with tmobile and save yourself some money...
Which phone should I buy now?
I've had the HTC Wildfire since last year but I'm getting pretty bored of it now because of the slow processor, graphics and small screen.
Basically, I need a big screen, good camera(capable of HD recording), nice multimedia features and a decent processor in my next phone.
I'm thinking of getting the Sony Ericsson Xperia Neo V. Is it a good phone or should I go for something else?
Galaxy S3.
Easy, Global, more development and support. But Galaxy Nexus would make better sense with updates
Sent from my HTC One X
I'd also go for global for the dev/support.
If you have already invested tons into micro sdcard, go for sgs3, note or sgs2.
If not and you want style at the expense of no storage/battery upgrade options .. go for one x.
Samsung Galaxy SII even if for samsung upgrade reason maybe I'll chose HTC One X
Just buy the samsung galaxy siii.. man.. that phone is awesome .. just like a portable computer..

Hi!
Here is my dilemma. My employer is giving me the opportunity to pick my next phone. I have three candidates:
All three: marble white, unlocked, 16gb (except Htc One X 32gb because of lack of sd card).
1. Htc One X
2. Samsung Galaxy Note N7000
3. Samsung Galaxy III International version.
Help choose by just replying with 1 for HTC, 2 for the N7000 and 3 for the Galaxy S III..
Thanks
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using xda premium
might want to put up a poll,
3.
Having only had the Note:
If you want Camera, go HTC.
If you want Screen real estate go with the Note (its awesome, you won't regret it).
If you want anything else, probably the SIII.
I would still recommend the Note because I love the huge screen (you get used to it fast and it's hard to go smaller after)
Go for 2
Sent from my LG-P930 using xda premium
I'd go with 3.
I'd also go for the Galaxy S III. Definitely the better phone out of the options currently available.
I'am big fan of HTC devices so i will say HTC One X. My friend have Galaxy Note and everyone say: "what is this?" "quite big part of technology" or something like this. But this smartphone is really good. GTA 3, Max Payne or other games works really cool. On SGS3 it will go even better.
I vote 3
Get the S3 if it's the international model.

Go for Galaxy Note if you want a big display. Its good and performance wise also its a good handset.
If you are not looking specifically for display then go with Galaxy S3. It has got beautiful display and other features like good processor, memory options, burst mode in camera and few other such features.

GSIII for me
SGSIII.
Galaxy S3
The Best gpu on the galaxy S3, i'd go for the galaxy for only this reason.
Galaxy S3
Samsung galaxy S3 is best choice,

The note II screen is a little to big but it might just be that I haven't seen it in person. I would which to any newer phone for t-mobile cause I live in a hdpa+ 42 area and I want more speed while at work. Also from experience Samsung devices have great cover. And the Quad core! Lol but I waiting to see if we do get the one x+

note 2 is nothing special
definitely not worthy of a phone..
htc one x+ (tegra 3+)
or htc nexus 5 (s4 pro)
wait for it..

Oh my friend you could not be more wrong in my opinion. Have you really takin a real look at the Galaxy Note II? If you ask me Samsung has raised the bar with this device. Yes the new HTC Devices have a slightly better hardware as far as the actual processors. But lets be realistic there is only a 0.1 ghz difference in the clock speed. So really there is no deference there especially when you consider the overclocking possibilities. Now the extra 5th core in the HTC Onne X+ to help lower battery consumption does have my attention, but I still need to see real world tests on it. Plus I am curious as to the development possibilities of this. But to be honest with you the stylus, like it or hate it, puts the Note II in a small group of growing devices that offer much more than standard smartphone devices offer. Not to mention the stylus for the Note II has a unique mouse like quality because you can use it much like you would a computer mouse. But the stylus alone does not make all of that happen the software on the device is ground breaking. Much of it is the same as the Galaxy S II but much of it is just for the Note II. You can finally use a mobile device like you can a computer and have more than one window/application open on screen at one time as well as picture in picture playback for videos. The rumored HTC Nexus % so far is just that a rumor, but even if it does come to light it is very unlikely it will come to T-Mobile US. But from what rumors I have read on it the device sounds like a very good device. I am just not sure it would be able to hold up to all the features in the Note II. Also did you read the article? The Note II for T-Mobile US version will come with LTE capabilities so that means it will be ready for T-Mobile US LTE when it is rolled out next year. And if I am not mistakin that means it will be T-Mobile US's first LTE device. Below is a comercial for the Note II.
Edit: I forgot to mention the fact that the NoteII like all same sung devices does not come with a locked bootloader and already has Clockwork Mod Recovery for it as well as root. The HTC One X+ will have a locked bootloader and is not guaranteed to get unlocked or to be supported by HTC Dev. Now the Nexus 5 would in theory not have a locked bootloader but again it is just a rumored device right now.

my buddy had the note 2 for about a good 3 weeks before releasing.. he works as a tester or something like that. i played around with it a lot and it is nothing special.
any company can put together a presentation video like that.. laaaaaame.. i stand by what i said earlier, go with HTC.. or get an s3 although samsung to me is the apple of android.. theyre amazing at marketing as if theyre the best in the game when there are tons of other options out there

I would prefer S3 Over S4 mini because of screen size and resolution and most its memory and i think S3 is really a very good phone to have.
S3.
My mum recently had the very same debate. She went with the S3 and hasn't regretted it since.
Particularly the screen is better, and the battery is bigger.
S3 all the way. It isn't worth vying all cheaper version of a big flagship phone. Get the s3 since it was the last big flagship phone. The specs are no where near to being outdated. Dancing will for sure continue to support it for a while.
