After try to flash a new version of the liquidsmooth my phone get a problem, the gapps stoped working and i cant login in the google account, all the gapps stopped work too like youtube, google search , google services. Help ?
( i already try to reinstall the rom, i change the rom too, change the gapps ,the kernel but im still with the problem)

Hi.!!
Did anyone encounter this blank/black home screen problem after flashing with 22/11/2013 or 24/11/2013 unofficial cyanogenmod 11 rom.!!?
Because I didn't have luck in using this nightly version of roms.!!
I flashed these 2 versions of roms and along with them flashed the latest pa gapps of 19/11/2013. Everything went fine, the flashing process, booting process and I even happen to enter my google account and then my home screen never came.!! I tried flashing a lot of times, wiping cache, format system but still the same.!!
The notification panel works fine and so do the apps/settings notification tray.!! After a long time of examination of where things went wrong, I found that google search did not get installed when I flashed the gapps which is a very essential app for launcher in kitkat.!! They did include this google search app in pa gapps but it didn't get installed.!!? How can this happen.!!
The only newest version am getting to use is 21/11/2013 version of this rom and google search gets installed on this rom no matter what.!!!
Some one can actually let me know why this app isn't getting installed.!!? Since am getting a complete blank home screen, I cannot access any apps. So no chance of downloading it through play store. Is there any other alternative to only flash a google search so that things start working.!!?
P.S: I did have the latest CWM version 6.0.4.3.!!

Any idea why google search isn't getting installed with the complete gapps package.!!?
Is it only with nexus s or other mobiles too facing the same problem.!?

So I update my S3 to cm11 m11 and suddenly all google related apps wont connect to the internet for some reason...
I wiped my phone and flashed most recent Gapps zip with the same ROM and the problem persisted.
I basically cant log in to my Gmail on any Google app cuz it cant establish a connection.
Plz help.

so it seems to me that you have a problem with your access point (apn)
what access point are you using? manual or default operator provided?
Hello everyone! First post from a noob android fanboy! I have a gnex gsm version. I rooted recently and flashed cm11, but the problem is that I did not backed up my data(don't know why I did that sincerely), but the problem is somewhere else. I couldn't install anything. When I try to download Facebook it says error, try to download play store, won't open. I sign in with my account on play store on the web and it show the status of my previous apps installed, but I can't find them nowhere. This is the best part where I factory reset my phone, loosing all my data, but the situation is the same. I flashed cwm before the custom ROM, but I don't know if I have it anymore. Any idea is welcome guys. Thanks in advance
You cant install google play and start downloading apps right away !!
You have to flash GApps
(Google Apps)
Search for this on google : cm11 gapps
Download it and format system + factory reset from the recovery (cwm)
Then flash the rom again .. And before u boot to system, flash the GApps package

I'm on the Validus 5.0.1 ROM and have had issues flashing gapps whenever needed s ones come out. I lose my account and can't use YouTube play store and so on. Also I've been wanting to update my play services and clicking the apk gives me "app not installed"... How do I fix this issue as well? Lastly my DPI is set at 400. Thanks for any help

Always flash Gapps after flashing a ROM that needs it, even if you are flashing an update, flash Gapps as well.
What if I like the ROM I have but want the new updated gapps? When I just flash gapps over my current ROM from 12-3 it screws things up.
I've had similar issues with several gapps packages.
The following gapps are working great though: https://s.basketbuild.com/filedl/de...1117-minimal-edition-gps738-480dpi-signed.zip
They should work fine on your DPI.

Thanks. I noticed my play services says 438... Is that an issue? Have you been able to update your gapps to the newer versions after using these?

Strangely Google Play store still says it's up-2-date.
I know some updates have already been released, but I'll wait for the dev from these Gapps to present an update as I'm having no issues with these whatsoever.

OK thank you. I tried flashing black nights play store and YouTube and got errors because play services was not updated. Never ever had these issues before. The gapps I've flashed are bpears that don't require reflashing if flashing a ROM update. Wonder if that is the issue.
hey, just flashed latest cm12 and gapps ( banks) . But getting google play service has stopped error pop ups since first boot and these pop ups are non stop . Thus making phone almost unusable. Had to disable google play services.
Any fixes ?
I am on unofficial twrp 2.8.6.0 .

You can't disable Play Services. You're probably using the wrong gapps, which one did you flash?

Just reflashed cm12 with another set of gapps
everything seems to be working fine till now

edit: im on cm12 nightly 20150405 bacon 5.0.2 lollipop with twrp 2.8.6..
I had the same issue when I flashed 5.1 Gapps on cm12.
