Revert to stock - HTC One S

I know the answer is out there somewhere but...
I am currently on cm11 s-on hboot 2.15
How do I go back to stock?
Is it simply to run a ruu with the phone plugged into the computer? Or run the ruu from recovery?
My one s is western Europe (Denmark) unbranded.
Which ruu should I use?

Why don't you use search ? You like to be warned ?
Get your ruu by your cid

Thanks for your useful reply.
If it was obvious to me after a search how to revert, I would not have posted.

Great ROM...awesome speed, no lag, great battery life...OH WAIT...
Questions go in the Q&A thread. But I'd suggest your start by reading about HTC Dev unlock

Not the place for it dude. You generally don't post in the Android Development forums unless you've made a ROM, or a kernel or something. Reposting this in general or Q&A will get you more help
As others have pointed out questions go in the Q&A section. A simple scroll through the threads here however would have shown you a few threads on what you are looking for such as this one

Not the place for this bro, but the thread that has what you want is http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1614617, search the forum first too, most questions have answers on here already
Sorry that i posted in the wrong section, thanks for the help.
EDIT: Sorry, I was a little behind with the posting, ignore
HTC dev unlock the bootloader and this isn't the way to s off but it is a step in the right direction you will be able to flash Rom but not radios or firmware and the there's another way you could try and find the ruu that contains the hboot 1.17 and if successful you can then head over to alpha revolutionary and then s off and by the way I have that ruu that will get you where you want to be you are welcome to pm me if you like I know what it feels like when you have a sensation with hboot 1.17 I guess you can say I'm part of the old school pack have the hboot 1.17 everything is possible and easy so I kepp that ruu when I need to go back to stock Rom

[Q] Rogers 1.84 Nandroid or RUU needed

Hey hey hey,
I wish to revert my Rogers/Fido One S to stock but I can only find the 1.70 RUU. My device is currently on 1.84 so that RUU doesn't work. Does anyone have a Nandroid backup or RUU file that I can use?
Thanks in advance!

Footballs Thread or my 4Shared mirror.
Check Footballs thread, dev section, mirror links are all over the thread, i got a mirror there too. RUU is in there.
Just search i got no link atm i am in a hurry.
PS: For Rogers there is only the 1.70 RUU. Alternatively, you can go downgrade on the Brick Downgrade thread and then run the 1.70 RUU again.
Second alternative is go to the SuperCID thread, change to SCID, then change to WWE or any other RUU you like.

Are there any negative side effects to changing the SCID to another provider (such as Bell Mobility) to install the RUU then switching it back to Rogers after? I'm not exactly sure what the difference between the WWE, Euro, and the other regions' RUUs. I was thinking of doing that using the file from your dropbox:
RUU_Ville_U_BM_1.84.666.9_Radio_0.17.31501S.10_2_10.27.31501S.10L_release_265369_signed.exe
Alternatively, can you install an OTA on a phone without a ROM? (or with a non-stock rom & kernel such as cm, trickdroid, etc.) I saw another thread which might have a new OTA update for Rogers/Fido soon...
[Q] Will I brick my One s if i do the update?
Edit: for those looking on how to change the CID:
Super cid: 11111111
...and +1 to wanting a newer RUU :fingers-crossed:
theoretically you can do it;
however you'll get lots of specific provider app who will not work on the new network; also you have to edit (and to know how to) the build.prop file so you can achieve the best of your usage network capabilities.

Thank you. I assume your response is regarding my first question - using another providers RUU. Would it be easier/possible to use an OTA update to return to stock? One is now available on the "[Q] Will I brick my One s if i do the update?" thread linked in my previous post:
fotadl dot htc dot com forward-slash OTA_Ville_U_JB_45_S_Rogers_WWE_3.16.631.8_1.11.50.05.28_10.27.50.08L_release_301897nn5lu23br8cg9q7l.zip
I'm just not sure how to install it, or if I even can.

[Q][S3][Villec2]Updating from 4.0.3 to 4.0.4 on BSTAR301 CID devices

Well, the purpose of this thread is to update the HOS that most operator from latam brought to us, why? Because we cannot use some of the ROMs that are barely found for our HOS because we need 4.0.4 as base. I've been reading about flashing the proper RUU but after browsing the web I was not able to find that RUU for our devices, they left us alone. Now, I think that there is a possible way to update our HOS, if there are other HOS from every region that got that update, we could take a part of those files and try to flash it into our devices.
Now, I'm newbie about this things of developing, but I can try to flash all files and test the ways if possible, but I don't want to brick my phone, so my question is if is possible to flash the hboot of another RUU (from another HOS s3) and in that way, we won't have the restriction of the hboot anymore and meaby we could try some ROMs like TrickDroid 6.0.0 or the JB ROM from luxandroid. I've been reading and found that there is a way to extract all the content of a RUU and get the flashable files, but those methods were for other HTC devices. Some of the files that are extracted from a RUU are the hboot file, which could be flashable, and that's what I would like to try.
TL;DR: Can I flash a hboot extracted from a RUU that is not compatible with my device's CID?
Also, sorry for my english, I hope you could understand it
If this is a question, then why you post in on development section?

If this was your answer, then why did you bother to do it? I'm trying to get this working, but first I need to know if is possible or if someone already tryed it before a brick my phone.
flashing hboot manually is impossible as much as I know
I moved this thread to Q&A/Support because it has nada to do with development. As long as you don't develop something, stay out of that section.

[Q] Update hboot and firmware?

After some extensive searching both in and out of XDA, I couldn't find exactly what I was looking for. So if the information has already been posted, please cut me some slack - I did do some leg work first before posting.
I am currently on hboot 1.09 and have s-off, running ViperXL (Sense based ROM). I was wanting to flash some of the new ROMs with the 3.4 kernel which all require 1.14 hboot and 3.18 firmware. While I was looking for instructions I did stumble into some threads where people have bricked their phones flashing the 3.18 firmware updates and etc so that gave me some cause for alarm.
Bottom line...I couldn't find any exact instructions on how to update the firmware and hboot with steps to insure I don't bork my phone. If anyone's got a link or care to help me out I'd appreciate it.
You're s-off so you should be fine. The cases where users have bricked their phones happened they were SuperCID and s-on and ran an RUU, bad idea.
Is your phone an att model? Or Rogers? Or an unlocked Hong Kong version?

And then RUU with the latest RUU for your carrier.
Tim beat me to it.

In that case, you can use this RUU:
