The only root methods that I'm aware of require a USB connection to a PC. I'm curious, though. If your USB port isn't working then how did you flash ICS?

I have a customized device with no USB debugging mode in it.
So i cant root the device using z4root or another file, coz they need the USB debugging for rooting.

Did you have trouble getting ADB to work over internet? There are several apps and guides for that:

Brother all these apps require ROOTED device and few of them even USB cable
Hi. I've looked through a couple of threads and none seemed to help me. I'm trying to root my Samsung Galaxy Grand Duos (GT-19082) so that I can install Android Version 5.0
My phone is currently running android version 4.2.2 (stock) and I cannot update it any further unless I root it. My USB port is broken so that means I can't connect it to my PC to access the files, but I can still charge it through an adapter into the wall. Is there anyway I can root my phone without the use of a USB cable? Thanks in advance!
