Flash to stock assistance needed plz

Ok, out of all the ways to "kill" my phone, this has to be the more irritating because it is so stupid
I had my phone rooted with froyo. I have a custom recovery mod alsoand I had installed launcher pro+ as well.
Unfortunately, LPP was not letting me switch back to sense, so i uninstalled it.
Now i have no home screen. The phone boots, but i only see the status bar.
I need to flash this back to stock.
I went into recovery and did a factory reset, but its only wiping my data and cant seem to find the file to flash too.... i must have accidently deleted it without knowing and I have no clue what file it could be.
Can anyone help out?

You could just download another custom rom and flash it. I would recommend Synergy ROM.
Make sure to clear data, cache, system, dalvik, and for good measure battery stats first.

Or download Home Switcher and see if you can switch back to HTC Launcher

Try Home Manager. It works for me.

Sorry to tell you but it sounds like you deleted HTC Sense. A Factory Wipe/Reset would have brought it back if your defaults were just screwed up. You need to get a ROM to your SD Card and flash it, or hold the magnifying glass soft button (On the phone) and say "Go To Market" or "Open Market" it show open a web page. From there search for a Launcher "Launcher Pro, ADW.Launcher, etc) and click it. It should ask if you want to use "Market" or "Internet" click "Market", download it, and you should now have a home (=P). Now you can either download the ROM or again or stay where you are at.

[Q] Stuck on Boot Animation on Custom Kernel

hey guys, my phone was working fine overnight with ICUP-speedy2. i checked my messages, left it alone then went back to it after breakfast and i saw that all these processes were stopped.
so i powered off the phone to reboot and i'm stuck on the bootscreen (aka google nexus square animation)
i'm able to get into recovery. i tried fixing permissions and wiping the dalvik and cache. i tried uploading the kernel again. still no go.
any help? i really do not want to do a factory reset and lose data. i forgot to do an nandroid backup.
any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

also, my superuser is up to date with the ICS binaries and i'm currently running CMW 5.0.2 with the install-recovery.sh renamed.

i bit the bullet.
i wiped data and just did a factory reset. all is well in the world again.

This has been happening to me on various roms and kernels. As soon as I get a working combo, I back it up.

You know you could have made a nandroid after messing it up, then wiped your data and manually restored some of your settings? CWM Recovery only tar's files and makes a MD5 hash check. A copy/paste is nearly as effective.

The same thing just happened to me as well. I'm using Speedy 3 by eugene. I received a text messaged then my phone rebooted randomly, after that all the apps had a bunch of errors when the phone loaded. After rebooting it cycled the boot animation over and over again. Is there anyway to recover from this state?

How do I do that if I don't have the rom zip on my phone anymore? I do have a restore of the stock rom that came with the phone, but would that conflict with the current kernel? I'm seeing there are ways to use the shell once in recovery, but I do not know all the commands, as to sending the zip.

Droid 2 Global Touchscreen Issue

Hi All,
I was hoping to find a solution to fix the Touchscreen issue on Motorola Droid 2 Global. It was working perfectly fine until i installed Task Killer App from PlayStore and suddenly the touchscreen went haywire and it started opening Menu and Apps on its own. In addition, the capacitive "Back" button stopped working. I did a factory reset and uninstalled all 3rd party apps however the issue still persist.
Can someone please help me on how to fix this issue

Everything crashes on boot, running CM11 4.4.4 nightly

Everything starts crashing as soon as i boot the tab, google search app first then dialer then exchange services and then the ui and then it reboots. It has been doing this since 4 hours now, i made a few dirty flashes of the same rom but no use. I also reflashed Gapps. I dont have any backup of my data so i dont wanna run a factory reset. Can someone help me :crying:

Try reflash with all the wipes without resetting data, it may do the trick. Always nandroid before Nightlies, they can mess things up sometimes. When you nightly your volunteering your tab as a guinea pig.

[Q] Switch to ART was huge mistake. HELP!!

Hey all. I need your help.
I have a nexus 5 that is unrooted and runs KitKat 4.4.4.
I recently decided to switch from dalvik to ART (what was I thinking?) and now my phone won't let me get any further than the following two errors:
1. Unfortunately, nfc service has stopped.
2. Unfortunately, the process com.android.systemui has stopped.
How do I get back to dalvik or get my phone working properly again? (Preferably without having to reset my phone and losing all my data.)

switch it back to dalvik via the developer settings

or.. you can unlock your bootloader and flash a custom recovery, so you can flash a file to convert your phone to dalvik from art.
