[Q] i927 Samsung S2 rogers stock ROM - General Questions and Answers

Hello everyone,
I am trying to find a .TAR/ .MD5 file for a stock 2.3.5 Rogers ROM.
Where is a i927 Samsung Galaxy S2 (glide) Rogers stock ROM?
I found one a few months ago but have not had any luck.
I need to use Odin to install a new ROM because I failed to wipe the caches before trying to restore my phone.
I did "back up" my old OS so it might be on my phone still if I knew where to look.
Any links to a .MD5 file that will help me would be awesome,
Thank you!

[Q] help i did something wrong with my galaxy s

i have a vibrant 4g but when i used odin it restarted and it only shows galaxy s i9000 logo and stays then i try recovery and nothing happens:confused :
Sounds like you flashed a Galaxy S (i9000) rom and/or kernel. You need to get one of the stock rom's, I would suggest KD1, and flash it with odin.
Don' flash anything that is not in the Galaxy S 4G forum!
Thank you its finally back

If you had done a search you would have found this. Make sure you select the correct TAR file based on your carrier.

[Q] How to downgrade from Android 4.0.3 to Android 3.0? (Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1)

Hi, i'm currently new here, so i've been wondering how could I downgrade from (Unofficial) Android 4.0.3 ICS to Android 3.0 (or 3.2). I'm using Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1. I used CM9 to get ICS.
I would be very thankful if anyone can help me with my issue.
Check this forum and the galaxy tab forum for any stock images that you could flash through CWM or equivalent for the tab - http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=807 The Galaxy Tab QA also may be of help.
When I got back from ICS to GB on my SGS, I first flash a GB Kernel via CWM. Than i turned out my Phone and Reboot it into Recovery Mode, than i flashed the GB Rom on my SD Card. It worked really good. When I just flashed the rom without changing the Kernel, I got a bootloop.
Maybe I could help. I know, its a smartphone and not a tablet but I think the ways to flash are pretty similar.

Stock p5113 ROM, anybody?

I am getting my Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 Wi-fi today. I would really like to install a custom ROM, but I am hesitant without the stock ROM to ODIN. I have bricked my Fascinate several times, and I would have been stuck without the stock ROM. However, it's more complicated because the ROM's I use for the Fascinate use an MTD filesystem. Is there a situation where I would be bricked without a way to restore to stock on the gtab, or does that sort of thing not happen? Anyway, is there a stock ROM available and will you link me?
not yet
from what i've read, there isn't a p5113 stock rom yet but time will give us one i am sure. in the meantime, the best we can do is make a backup in CWM before rooting and that would give you an unaltered stock ROM backup to restore from.

[Q] 3g no longer working on my phone after flashing roms SCH-I500

So, after hours of looking for the stock rom for my Samsung galaxy S ( I don't know which one it is.. It just says samsung at the top and bottom) I found a gingerbread rom, and I flashed it to my phone via Odin. I reset the phone, and I no longer had my 3g, and my phone number says "Unknown". I installed Froyo 2.2.2 before this, and it was working perfectly, except that wasn't the stock that I was looking for, and so that was the reason I flashed the gingerbread ROM.. If anyone could help me, it'd be a big help.

aww Cmon.. :crying:
No one?
Probably something went wrong with the modem flash. The stock rom contained the modem for the rom itself? It happened to me on a galaxy ace. I flashed a 4.0.4 rom and then i lost the signal (only 3g/2g, not the wifi). Then I flashed a custom rom based on the original one and now everything works. Try to search the official rom for your device on sammobile.
:/
Well, I've spent days looking for the stock ROM :/ I couldn't find the one for mine..
You said install a custom ROM? won't that require a ROOT?
I can't find my model, "SCH-I500" on sammobile.

Ok, I installed http://www.mediafire.com/download/c7h1wl5wne51duf/ed05_radio.tar.md5.. so I'm able to send/recieve calls, but I still don't see "3g network" icon on the top of my phone, meaning that I don't have 3g..
anyone??
...
Rage..
Eh..
guys... Help me.
