We need them to talk over translations ... please open it again. We doesnt spam in this thread. Its for knowlage exchange only!!!
We want also release a German Based WM6 Rom File.

oh come ooon.. its just one lill thread in that forum, i am sure the guys wont change the whole forum from english to german.
give that germans a change to be more creative in their language, they work hard on modding and i guess a lill german part for those creatives heads will valorize this forum once again more.

Yes I think also and I m german. We have made the thread in german because we want to change the ROM into german and it is helpfull when you can write in german not english.
The admins could say something when we had to write into english and not lock it without any details why ?

If anyone could just start a thread in his own language in the current sections, the xda-developers forum will become a mess.
The only this works would be to have specific sections in the forum for specific languages, i.e. a forum section in English, a section in German. But unless there's that, I agree that all threads should be written in English.

I think that is the least whoever closed that thread should do. Kind of rude to close without much notice/warning/ .. or anything.

Same here, since the thread got closed the German ROM project cooled down. It's really a shame of that admin who killed the thread without a warning
and ccc030...I definitly do not want you to shut up
Nothing is cool down ... my experience with rom cooking is very poor.
In the moment ... i have finish my test ROM and i flash it soon. If its finish in one onth ... it was fast :-> but after them ... i can translate smart to all languare.

I wrote a mail to the site admin this morning to re-open the closed thread. I just got the info that it is open again. The only condition this thread was opened again is that we stick to Engslish. I'm sure that's not a big problem for us

Are you planning to create a ROM? If so, you'll need a russian base to start with... and you have to learn how to cook a rom...
If you're just wanting to turn your phone russian, you're posting on the wrong place.
I remember seeing a set of cabs that would change most of the language in a ROM, but I don't remember where.

as far as I know one have to extract the rom
and using a hexEditor to take each exe and dll file
in the rom and manually translate piece of text

various translations and ask the people behind
how and what they did
Well, as many already know, there are some people who don't read all the specs and info when purchasing an item. I am definitely not one of them, BUT this time I joined their club. I got me an HTC Touch Cruise and its in German! Ive red that the ROM has to be changed and all this but Im no tekkie. Please help I need the ROM in Spanish.
