First off sorry if I posted this question in the wrong place or if it was answered already. But after rooting my device the optimum app no longer works, I read that you have to edit your build prop but I'm not to sure exactly what to do. So any advice or links to the proper thread will be greatly appreciated.
RootCloak Plus hides root from some apps. You can give a try.
thanks i tired that and root cloak for xposed neither one worked for me

Hello, I'm stuck in the same boat and can't find an answer for the Optimum app. I tried root cloak and root cloak+ and neither seem to work with this app. Any help is much appreciated.
Thanks!

Tks for your comment. However, I have tried the option "Search For ADB" which lead me to google, but I can't find my device Wolfgang AT-AS40SE on the internet. I also contact the manufacturer, but they hesitate to contact me...

I think so. I had a look at the internet and it seems the "amoi N816" looks quite the same as my Wolfgang AT-AS40SE. Unfortunately, I do not speak Chinese. Now what...?

you could try this tool:
httx://cdnpic.mgyun.com/files/products/vRoot/2013/17040128/VRoot_1.4.3.3396_Setup.exe
someone with the AT-AS40SE had his phone rooted with this tool. One problem though.. the tool itself is chinese.

Did that happen since out of box?
I'm not sure if there are any other ways but if that was happening to me I would http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2507905 and then find it.

That's bad luck
Well if you were to root it make sure you follow that thread. Stay away from toolkits. You'll learn more and run into less problems. :good:
And as for the rogue app, if it's not solved then maybe the only way is to root it and freeze or delete it. I'm pretty certain you would be able to find it once you root but hope there are others who know much more than me come and help

Install BetterBatteryStats from the app forum. It monitors network communication.
I don't see 10014 in my list.

And as Aerowinder suggested http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1179809 :good:
Totally forgot.
But not sure if it needs root for kitkat?
This can turn into a working thread depending on if people post but I am curious to see if anyone has found or knows of any apps that can customize the ROM like UI or tweaks (basically what xposed would do) on Lollipop since, unfortunately, xposed doesn't work. Basically, just comment any apps that can help make the experience better and customizable I guess. Thanks
Xposed is actually very close, stay tuned...

Actually seen the XDA youtube video, so I don't know if any threads have been started specifically stating this, but probably many mentions within other threads...

I just saw a post on phone arena and that is great news! Quick question if you know, will all the modules need to update to ART or no?
The modules would be compatible with 5.0, so yeah...

Hello,
Is there a way to enlarge the text size on the notifications bar?
The device is GS3, which is rooted and running Slim ROM.
Thanks
Hi,
Thanks for using XDA Assist.
Give a try to this app.

Hi,
Thanks, I actually saw it before posting this, but I thought maybe an app that requires root will do a better job.
Anyway, I will try it.

Take a peek at the Xposed modules. One of them may be helpful.
I now have "developer options" available on my XGODY X1 phone.
Does this confirm that my phone is now "rooted"?
Apologies for this beginners question!
Jim.
No, that has nothing to do with root. Check with an app like root checker. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.joeykrim.rootcheck
