Try flashing official firmware from here http://sbf.droid-developers.org/phone.php?device=14
Once you are on office firmware (may be 4.3 or 4.4.2), try flashing custom recovery and then any custom ROM of your choice.
It happend to me few times while trying different custom ROM and I brought back to normal by flashing official firmware and then flashed custom ROM.
Hope it helps.

If the Moto G still shows as incompatible, has anyone tried to sideload it and test functionality?
Thanks!

Thanks for checking! I really don't understand the incompatibility with the Moto G. Connect looks like it is built off of the same platform as MightyText.

I side loaded Moto Connect in my Indian MOTOG XT 1033 and it's works fine :victory:
hey guys
i tried to unlock bootloader via motorola web site but it says my device does not qualify for unlocking
tried flashing recoveries, root zips and updated to official kitkat, but still does not work
phoned motorola support and they said motorola doesn't guarantee bootloaded getting unlocked, it depends on luck
any suggestion?
Moto XT1033 Dual 16gb BR
I had this problem too, but I checked all individuals characters of my code and deleted some spaces between them... After that check up everything worked like a charm !

Hello,
Can somebody please give me a link to download stock kitkat Asia retail rom for MOTO G XT1033?
I searched for a long time but could not find a flashable zip file. Also didn't make a backup of my stock firmware :crying:
Additional details in screenshot.
Stock ROM XT1033
Motorola don't seem to have uploaded the 4.4.2 Stock ROM anywhere out there.
Download the 4.3 JB on the firmwares page below, & then update via OTA.
sbf.droid-developers.org/phone.php?device=14
P.S. Download the OTA update and update via sideload if you have troubles
Faith is the key. Don't lose it
And I thought ...
hey, thanks for your reply.
After hours of searching, I found this:
http://www.filefactory.com/file/3t4v75yvhrd5/RETAIL-AS_FALCON_KXB20.25-1.31_cid7_CFC_1FF.xml.zip
The build version is the same as the stock Kitkat rom. Although I haven't tried it yet, been lazy.
Personally, I do not think that Moto people would be so biased towards XT1033 Asia users and not even release the fw in question.
Would update once I have tried this rom.

It works.
Though not immediately but works. Although I have noticed that the OTG device gets detected quickly when the screen is locked as compared to when I am using the phone.

Exactly what is it doing when you try to boot. If you didn't actually flash twrp, it should still boot from your normal bootloader. If you're just seeing the dead Android on the screen, hold down the power button until you see the "Bootloader Unlocked" screen.
