Stock FIrmware Collection - Post all firmwares here! - Galaxy S 4 General

Hi guys,
Lately its been getting annoying seeing new threads pop up for every single variation of every single new firmware that gets released so instead of doing such, I ask that you post all firmwares in this thread to keep them in a central location.
From now, any new stock firmware threads created will be closed.
If any users would be interested in maintaining this thread by updating it as a list of firmwares so users don't have to trawl through the thread to find a specific firmware could they please contact me via PM to sort out the details
Thanks.
Jonny

If you experience FC,
- Boot into recovery mode (Home+power+vol up)
- Choose to wipe/factory reset.

Making it impossible to even get through the initial set up as can't type into anything to set up accounts...

Did you flash it correctly? Mine seems to be working fine up to now. *see attached pic.
Maybe try flashing again if it didn't work?
Hope it works out for you buddy

On German Forum (handy-faq.de) 2 users report, that they have after flashing this firmware again KNOX 0x0...
someone can confirm this?

For the T-Mobile USA variant, can we just flash the PDA and CSC without the modem?

BL_I9505XXUEMI8_1715731_REV06_user_low_ship_MULTI_ CERT.tar to BL - BL means bootloader I guess...??
Woooowwwwww : D : D
Any reason those of us with know status 0x1 should not flash this?
Waiting for CWM before testing it out. Really happy with GE for the time being, but if this brings major performance improvements I just might switch back (until 4.4 that is).
I will wait for a recovery version in order to avoid the new boatloader

If you install it through recovery(when a recovery version is released) you will be able to do whatever you want.as long as you have not already install a locked boatloader.

It was not a q. It was a statement. But you can download more than 1Gb without premium ac. (at least it used to be possible). It just takes forever.
I guess most people can afford 5€ or so (don't rem exactly) for premium with a month of downloads...

Macedonia is a valid country name, but when Macedonia became a member of the United Nations in 1993 , as a result of a dispute with Greece over its name, it was admitted under the provisional reference of the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia alias FYROM.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Macedonia_naming_dispute
Samsung isnt interesting to this dispute so they use Macedonia name.
Just flashed Macedonian NA7 and what a nervewreck. I was on PHN NA6 (unbranded), flashing went well all the way untill the last bit where Odin suddenly said FAIL!
Wow! I unplugged and tried reboot, but only to get bootloader stating error "try emergency recovery by kies" (or something like that). I tried booting to recovery but same happend. Tried rebooting again only to get the same error message. Then I pulled battery and rebooted, again the same error from bootloader. At last I got it to download mode and tried flashing CWM to be able to install backup. It flashed fine but then it wouldn't boot to recovery. Suddenly it just rebooted normaly and I could log on.
Now strangely device info says I'm on NA7 so the fw flash must have succeeded afterall. Info says Bootloader is still NA6.
Rooting with CF-autoroot went well. Same with CWM. Haven't noticed any changes so far, but I have not tested for ext.sd bug yet.
Enyone else faced this when flashing NA7?

I downloaded and installed the Spanish version of NE5 from Sammobile. It's still in English, works fine, and I rooted it with no problems either.

For those with language concerns, there is a UK version already available for download. I thought it'd be safe to use for me in Australia.
thank you
Anything changed? Seems like nothing obviously different in the E5 firmware...

Only difference is that you can get root. Root will work for ND8 and NDD as well.

Can you post a screenshot?
Also do you have usb debugging mode turned on? That would deny you root.

If you are on NDD you need to flash the NDD rootf_s files fibs provides. If you flashed the NE5 they will not work.

Could you discuss this in the correct thread?
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2771470
This thread is about the firmware-update of the Gear 2, NOT about rooting!
Update now available in more European countries...

Android 6.0.1 Impressions

Also do tell whether you are rooted or not.
Over 12 hours have lost 2% battery at idle state. I am not rooted.
Will test with Wifi On and report back tomorrow.
