Hi everyone!
I've got an unlocked BL xt1053 tmo version. Was rooted and on 4.4 adaway worked like a charm... Unrooted installed the 4.4.2 OTA and went back to root with TWRP.
Now adaway downloads the files says it fixed my hosts, but after reboot nothing happens...
Anyone with such an issue? Any suggestions?

And are you sure you actually have root? Super su should have popped up trying to use ad away.

Working fine here with 4.4.2.
Yup, got the 2.8 (builld 47) version from their website. Exactly the same as i had on 4.4. SuperSU did pop up, permission was granted...
Did even unistall and reinstall with reboots in between and everything...
Solved
Swiped userdata, reinstalled and now its good...
Beats me...?
It's not as popular anymore but veteran app Adfree is still working perfectly with 4.4.2.

Has anyone got viper to work,Ive tried installing regular and a system app and doesnt work trying on poweramp and jet music.Im on 5.01 lollipop not kitkat anymore.

Are you rooted ? You will need to be rooted to do so, secondly if you are on lollipop, you will need the newer version of viper. I've never tried it on lollipop, bit on kit Kat you had to make changes on the build.prop file in system folder. Visit vipers site or I know it's in the verizon note 3 forum under themes and apps for all the viper info

I tried that wierd that it doesnt work.I have lollipop on my galasy s6 edge and viper4android works.I also had viper on kitkat and it worked but doesnt work on tablet with lollipop.

Hi Guys,
Sorry for the noob question.
I just flash my HTC M7 UL with Santod's NuSenseSix rom and things were going fine until the installation requires a reboot.
Now my phone just keep rebooting.
All I can tell you right now is prior to this, it was using CM12.1 flawlesly.
Can someone share some explaination please?
Made some mistakes:
NuSenseSeven (not Six)
Version 4.0.2
HTC One M7 GSM
Standard installation option (didn't change anything)

Yup, I can boot back to recovery TWRP.
It was nusenseseven, not six.
With nusensesix however, i can get it working. Awesome rom btw. DT2W is working fine.
Just curious why it did not working with nusenseseven...

I kepts downloading some mods, thought they are, when i headed to mod list, i found none one them got downloaded, what's wrong?

I think it's a problem with the xposed app. Click the save button and then go into a file manager to install them.
Edit: I believe this is the old Xposed Installer app

The Magisk or systemless version of Xposed SDK24 doesn't work on the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge (G935F). If you flash the Magisk version via TWRP or dvdandroid's Xposed Installer, you're gonna end up in a bootloop. Since the Magisk-uninstaller also doesn't work on the S7 Edge (G935F), you'll pretty much have to restore your last backup or reflash your ROM. It only works through the regular install method to /system/.
Also, keep in mind that if you have Xposed installed on /system/, you're always going to fail SafetyNet test and currently there is no way to hide it from SafetyNet.

But here's my concern...without a custom recovery, how do we recover from a mod that puts the phone in bootloop?
I used to test them and if it didn't work I'd just delete it in TWRP.

Flash classic version. Magisk won't work because it flashes a modified boot.img

YouTube AdAway works for me.
Thank you for this info! Installed the classic version of Xposed on my Superman ROM v2.6 and confirmed working. MinMinGuard works too!
I have a question. Is there any reason to use YouTube Adaway+Background Playback over IYTBP?

Hmm. Not entirely true. I think it's a matter of signature. I was able to install 5.0.40.15 of the Messaging app without problems. Even with the Email app from Pie, it did so as well though somehow its API was reduced from 27 to 26 and lower. Well, we just have to wait for the dev for his next update of the app and maybe it'll install successfully by then.

Samsung Messages version 5.0.40.15 from apkmirror works on Samsung GALAXY S8 (Android OREO non root)
I am obviously rooted (via Magisk) and still using the stock ROM for my Metro XT2043-4. Is it safe/possible to install Xposed Framework on this device? I need the "Fake Wifi Connection" module in particular is why I'm asking but there are soooo many more goodies contained within that I'd love to have at my disposal as well!

Which version of Xposed works? The regular one said improper device, should I do Dalvik? I don't have Riru installed. (I'm going by the options available on the Magisk Manager Downloads)
