I was curious if i can activate my Nexus 5 with the Straighttalk T-Mobile Combatible sim card. I want to be on T-mobile and have unlimited data.
Yes. It's compatible.
So I can buy T-Mobile service and just use this straight talk Sim??

Unlock the phone. Look into simple Mobile. The money you save is more than enough to make up the fees of breaking a contact.

Unlocking the phone will allow you to use sim cards from other networks. My phone is unlocked and allows me to use att. I also was able to use prepaid Sim cards when I was in Japan.

Look into simple mobile, great plans, unlimited everything 60 bucks flat no tax, 4g. If you can access Tmobile lines were you are you can use simple mobile.same towers.
I May be mistaken, but you should be able to use Tmobile prepaid without unlocking.

Does a T-Mobile prepaid phone need to be cancelled or deactivated before anyone else can use it? An unlocked Nexus 4 to be specific.

The phone itself does not need to be deactivated...you just need to put in a different SIM card and you're good to go.

That is actually very cool although tmobile just gives me free sims so its just the hassle of going there
Hi All, I have an LTE provisioned line. The phone is a GS2 SKYROCKET. Can I just go to AT&T and get the smaller sim card that the Nexus 5 requires. Or do I have to perform major Surgery on my rocket card? Thanks in advance!

go into a ATT store and they will give you one..
I used one of those punchout cutters to cut the SIM card from my Galaxy S2 Skyrocket down to a MicroSIM. Worked with no problems in the N5, I'm running on LTE, etc. Less hassle for me than going to a store, and at least I had a SIM card that I knew would work!
Cool, thanks to both of you.

Hi, I got an expired contract Nexus S from a friend. I checked the ESN and it's all clean. It was a Sprint phone.
What can I do with this Nexus S? Can I flash it to a pre-paid carrier such as Virgin? Thanks!
