Hi I was wondering if there was any apps which would let you browse other peoples phones over bluetooth, I know people used to be able to do it on phones but I was wondering if there was an application dedicated to it that somebody might know about?
I think it would be awesome and very fun
(Disclaimer: I dont want to use this for the wrong reasons just for fun with friends, especially my friends with Iphones, (is it possible to do the same with an Iphone?))

Your question is a little broad. Games? Productivity? Flashing?
I think most people on this forum would agree that Titanium Backup is near the top of any list.
Seems like everyone but me is playing Angry Birds.
Most people get a lot of use out of the Music apps. And if you have functioning GPS (you should be able to get there from studying the posts on the forum) you'll get a lot of use out of Google Maps and Navigation.

There is no best mobile operating system, and no right answer...
That depend on your needs, android is open (a little free), iOS is closed (but can be open), Symbian doesn't have the success it deserve and i don't know blackberry.
My favorite is AOSP ; android open source project (with custom rom), because I find all apps I need and all mods I need...

Ya, all "educational purposes" aside, this is also illegal and therefore anyone assisting you in your quest for Facebook dominance would be considered an accomplice. However, if you are truly interested in hacking "for educational purposes" as in, you want to "reverse engineer" software, then I would recommend two things:
First, become familiar with CLIs (Command Line Interfaces) as opposed to today's standard GUI (Graphical User Interface) because true hacking allows you to have complete control and in order to do that you generally have to completely remove yourself from whatever you are trying to hack.
Secondly, START SMALL, hacking can be fun if you just want to learn how things work and why, so I would recommend you start with much simpler software (i.e. NOT A SOFTWARE GIANT LIKE FACEBOOK!)

Hello all! I'm new to this wonderful forum and community so please spare me if I've done, or said anything stupid. :crying:
I am interesting in developing applications for Android. I do understand that developing apps for any device/software is a challenging task. Especially with Android (I think) since it's such a diverse amount of devices, screen resolutions, capabilities, etc. What I'm hoping to do is to build a somewhat simple app, targeted at business owners, or folks who sell merchandise, and so on. It's supposed to have tabs set up for certain folks/companies. I'll spare the details about the app I want to make. Bottom line is, I want to start off with that 'simple' app and move on to a game for my second app. I know that I won't be a huge hit or any of the sort. But before I begin to develop, I have some questions that I hope can be answered here.
Here are my questions, please be patient with me, and to all mods/admins, I'm sorry if I've violated any rules by posting this up. I couldn't find any decent answers that'll help me out.
1. What Operating System is considered to be "better" for developing Android apps, and why?
2. How do I go on testing my app, do I use my own phone, or are there any great emulators out there that can emulate/simulate a real phone very well?
3. Where would you recommend me, a complete noob, on developing? I know I can look this up on my own, so I don't mind if this question isn't answered. I just want to find some guides that actually explain why things were done, what it's supposed to teach and so on.
4. This question is the one that worries me the most, and I understand it might start some debate () so please, be respectful. :laugh: I'm not a legal US resident, citizen, or any of the sort. I'm currently seeing a lawyer to apply for Deferred Action. But I'm worried that it might be illegal for me to publish apps on the Google Play store. /: Does anybody know if it's it legal for a 16 year old, illegal immigrant (USA) to publish apps on the app store?

One does not simply call avast the best as it's the most common and therefore, the most countered anti-malware in order to target successfully the highest amount of users.
I don't believe antiviruses on phone. No impact I think. Only improve ram usage

That's true. Almost in all android cells, I have seen the Avast is installed. I do not have any doubt. It would be in number one for some years may be. Talking to the Gaming world, Temple Runner is also ahead, but we do not know how much time it would be... Because candy crush made crazy to people and other competitors come in market. Regarding the Auto Off Manager, there is no one to compete it as it is unique one and some apps are there in market but I do not think that that are comparable with this one.

Yes, The weather and clockwidgets is looking good
Racing game one also very good
and Have not understood what is the Pie Control.
But I am strongly agree that Temple runner is the Highest downloaded one. Every one is crazy in this game....

For mentally Satisfaction, antivirus is required. I also have not seen any active participation of antivirus in android.

I do not know, in which way I hurt you. But truly speaking what I felt right, has written. Till now I do not know what to do for the community. But assure you that, I would not break the law of community. Word "The" always placed before best. If you can suggest me what to write before best, then I would be open always.
Few apps what I felt are better for android users also will suggest in this thread. Please do not make any thread as controversial one.

These are really good apps.
It would be better if you can give the link with these apps.
Above the apps, I am using the Chrome and WhatsApp. Others will at least once give a try.

I do not know when my profile in this forum would be like your profile.
You really has created a field in this forum. Your each post and reply costs 1000$s. Still my intention is not to create confusion among the forum members. Now let this thread run like this. In future I definitely give more value added posts and Threads.
