Just got my moto x in the mail..
Loving it so far! One thing I'd love to do is change root- other than that, I'm content. Is this possible?
Any help would be appreciated.
Root it?
As far as fonts use iFont from the play Store.

Does anyone have the PSP original and classic live wallpapers from the Xperia Play modded to work on other devices such as the Droid. I grabbed them off my wife's Play and tried to install them on my rooted Droid, which didn't work but the digital clock widget did. I've been searching everywhere but can't find any ports that actually work. If anyone has a link to working apks or would be willing to port them, I'd greatly appreciate it.

I'd really be happy with a flashable zip that would install them as system apps, but a non-system app would be fine too. Please and thanks.

What kind of dialer are your trying to load? The ones from the play store should install like any other app.

i was looking at some nfl ones on the web someone made themselves
just wondering if they would work on my phone and how i would install them if they would
thanks
Ok your talking about dialer themes.
I have not played around much with the stock dialers on the one x.
However I have used rocket dialer, touchpal dialer and dw dialer. They all have themes available for them.
Someone with a bit more knowledge on the stock dialer would have to chime in on applying a theme to it.
ok thanks for your help josh i will check into the ones you used as well

I think the only stock apps I've replaced are the launcher, and the browser (Google Now Launcher, and Chrome Beta, respectively)
the stock apps are quite good
I replaced the stock SMS app. Couldnt stand that there was no quick reply. I went to CM sliding from TeamBlackout. But now I'm using 8sms. Has lots of options.... quick reply, dark theme and also options to adjust the LED notification blink speed which helps a lot. Oh and of course got did of the launcher and installed Nova.

since you're rooted,
AdAway (here on XDA)
Xposed (here on XDA)
LG G3 TweakBox (in PlayStore as "G3 TweaksBox" - needs Xposed)
Greenify if you want, but i'm getting decent battery life without it so far (coming from an SGS4)
PlayStoreFixes (Xposed mod- change DPI to show apps that now say not compatible since G3 dpi is so high)
for SMS i'm using Handcent, Nova for launcher
Thanks for all the replys. I will try those. Any good recommendations for notifications on lockscreen. The stock doesn't seem to show all the apps notification on lockscreen. I dl slide lock but there are some things I personally don't like.
I just got my One A9 and I love it. However HTC took away the emoji's I've grown to love and personally think look way better than stock android emoji's. Is there any way to get the old emoji's back?
UPDATE:
After looking around I found a temporary fix if anyone else is interested. Just install this app and change your Font to it in settings and you will have "iOS" emoji's.

If only we could keep the HTC font, but change the emojis.

Yeah that's a downside of it
ORIGINAL HTC SENSE & EMOJI
If you are rooted and want sense 6.0 emoji here is a flashable zip that works perfectly
Sense_6_Emoji
I'm also unrooted and have very little desire to root my A9. I've been using this one https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.monotype.android.font.free.emoji.color.htc but I don't like the font either; I use Helvetica. I'm trying to create my own emoji font with Helvetica included but I can't find an application that will let me edit fonts with emoji.
I've emailed the devs that published those apps to see if they can give any insight.

I was just about to post to another thread about this problem. The stock Andriod emojis suck big time! I have an M8 and the emojis are the standard look similar to the Xda ones on the right of screen.
Thanks, I will give this a go!

Does that zip work on a device running CyanogenMod 11? I can't find any other way to get Sense's emojis, so if this won't work, could you, if possible, recommend a functional option?
EDIT! The zip works on CyanogenMod11
I had the s6 edge and I would change the font and it wasn't a problem. I downloaded apps like ifont and it worked just fine. Now, I went to add the same font (roboto condensed) and it won't allow me to! The ifont app says I might have to root...I don't want to. Any way around this? I hope this makes sense
The same thing with me. Maybe they changed the flip font. I guess we wait for root. Then use ifont
Yea it's a bummer. Was using customs with Hifont on my S6 Edge without any problems. Now when I install a custom font and try to apply it i get "Font is not supported. Please contact the font owner". Not sure if it's a Marshmallow or a Tmobile restriction issue. I've even tried using fonts using the apk method.
