Recently I messed with Flappy Bird's files to up my highscore (to mess with people ). I thought that was pretty fun so i wanted to see if i could do it with other games
So I was looking through a game's data trying to change the levels just for fun. I would change them back, because who wants to ruin a perfectly good game?
Anyway, in the xml file for the game I found the part that I think should be the level, but the place where i would think the number would be was "F5uaTyMiAtv8FU".
I think that should be the number 10... my question is: is that some way to write numbers so its not super easy to tamper
with them? Im doing all this for learning and fun, im not trying to cheat in the game.
Well i suppose i am.. but its for educational purposes!
So anyway, what is that? I'm rather new to android-screwing, so if you know, tell me
sorry for the noob question.

So basically I am a freshmen in computer science, I have gotten pretty decent at c++ this year( i started last) I wanted to start java so I thought what better way than make an android app...
Anyways I had an idea for a childrens math app.
Sort of like to help learn basic types of math in a cutesy way.
Starting in like addition to subtraction to multiplication to division.
Problem is to make it cute how would I go about getting the Font to be different than the user defined font. Because it would be HELL and back to code each letter to a graphics file. (ill do it if I have too)
I also want any suggestions of how I could make it more kid friendly.
(maybe dancing android guy)
PM me ideas and stuff I really have no clue what I am doing jumping into it like a bat out of hell.
I just wanna ask something out of curiousity.
I'm gonna start off with an example. I have two games which are at least 99% similar..the only difference is their main character's model, but inspite of being the main character, they do.not move, they just simply appear on one side of the screen as if they're just an image file.
So, I wanna transfer Game 1's main character to Game 2 so that they can become 100% similar. How hard will this be, but be gentle with answers please, I'm not a developer and I know only little HTML and Javascript. Thanks.
Hello, I'm a 22 year old boy, for some years I entered the world of programming in C ++ and Java, I started with small home automation control applications for state exams, now I switched to something more innovative, games for Android .
I just hope I live up to your expectation
Sorry for my English a little cumbersome.
1)The first game that I present is an Arcade game in 2d created with Android studio, where you are a spaceship and you must destroy other ships and get a high score to enter the hall of fame, there is the possibility to take the gadgets to make things easier
(BokeGame on Google play)
2)This is always an Arcade game where you have to build a tower, you create with bricks falling from the sky, and are of different colors and speed.
Let's see if you're good at to keep everything in balance!
(BlocksUp on Google play)
3)the third, the last preserved because it is the most beautiful.
You're practically in a 7x7 grid and you must match the colors vertically or horizontally to make them disappear, and then create new space for the colors that come out, if you mess will come out 5 new colors!
This it created with Unity3D.
(LineSwi on Google play)
I'm so sorry, but since I'm new I can add links that redirect to google play, if the game only to your height please leave a comment and help me .. so I can continue studying these programming languages, and to perfect, create new games for the community.
Sorry again for my english. Thank you very much.
Sorry

You seem like a good programmer. I would like to give you two tips:
1. Try to give a little more thought to naming your games. The names are not that appealing and this is very important. Try to give your next game an over-the-top name.
2. Spend more time on graphic design or try to find somebody in the community that can design your graphics. It will make your games a lot more appealing.
And finally, I'm jealous of your skills. If only I could reach your level. Keep going!
Thank Slagathor, you've been really nice, the next release of the game that put a more recognizable name, these are just horrible, but they were the only ones that came to mind ehehe.
I just started and I noticed that the most difficult step is just to advertise their game a bit to the name, a little bit because it is with little graphic.
I thank you for your comment, be the name that will work on the graphics (at least for what you can do )
Sorry for my English..
[Edit] Sorry !
I have recently joined this world I find myself with a question, maybe the bigger one:
How do I advertise an app, without using the usual means of advertising such as Adwords etc ..
Honestly I produce only games with no gain or, no advertising, no in-app purchases. I do not think the case to spend $ 500 for just over 3k downloads ..

Riddle tower is a game i always wanted to make but having close to no free time it was really hard to start learning unity. The last 3 months i got some free time and now i published it at Google play store.
I understand this game is not for everyone but i am sure that everyone who played these kind of riddle games in the past will get a nostalgic feeling.
I am more than happy to listen to your feedback and also i can keep this thread as a small walkthrough to the game to help anyone who is stacked with some hints.
Have great day everyone.

Hi, installed your game, great graphics and layout and quite hard from the outset which isn't a bad thing. I think I got stuck on first level the answer being quite straightforward but I was putting a space between the word and number which was wrong but sort of right imho.
Agree adverts are necessary to support you, but having one between every level was bit much for me at least.

Thanks a lot i really appreciate your feedback.
I think i will remove ads on the first 4-5 levels for example because in the beginning the user will move on faster but on the stages later it will take much longer time to pass a level.
Of course if you play more and you feel like it a review on the store will mean the world to me.
Thanks for your feedback it means a lot
Also love the staggered hint section and was more than happy to watch ads for hints

You rock <3
Fixed an error on 2 Levels that a beta tester found. Sorry for this if someone experienced the error.
May you share some tips on how to create a game like this? I mean did you find any templates or you have to start from scratch ?

Sure
The thing is i don't know if there is a template or something like this (there are templates for sure out there) but i think its better to start on your own because even if you get a fully working template when an error happens (and believe me in Unity you can get an error out of nowhere) then you will have a hard time fixing it.
Youtube and Unity forum can be a great start
20 Dec Update
Fixed some animation issues with broken animations which made the game unplayable under certain circustances.
I would really love if you played the game and you can post any questions here or if you need any hints.
More than happy to have a discussion about the levels here

Hello there
Thanks for your kind feedback.
Sorry for the late reply. I was working on many new levels and today i uploaded it to the store.
Added season 2 of the game with more than 200+ new levels spread across all categories.
So as far as level 15 of the main story you have to find a sum and maybe it's the same on all corners
Let me know if you need anything else. More than happy to help.
SEASON 2 IS HERE
+ 50 New Main Story Levels
150 Total Text Riddles
150 Total Math Puzzles
150 Total Rebus
Fixed many issues with animations that were broken on some devices and optimized it as much as possible to run on every single mobile out there
Next month plan is to add 150 new levels on all categories and slowly progress with season 3 main story.
The plan is for 4 seasons and a secret ending for anyone brave enough to solve all the 650 riddles that are going to be available on the game.
Thanks everyone who tried and provided feedback so far. I means a lot
SEASON 3 IS HERE

One step closer to the final Season (Season 4). I want the final season to be as hard as possible so if anyone want to provide any riddles/puzzles i will be more than happy to check them
Also added a secret ending to anyone who finishes the game 100% which will be available with season 4 in 2 months maximum from now.

Good evening everyone, I don't know if this is the right section to write so I apologize in advance since I just joined recently however I need your help because I'm at my limit now. I can't find nor remember the name of a game on the Play Store that I played years ago and it was beautiful, I've tried looking everywhere both in the list of my downloaded games, saved ones and also on various sites but nothing, so I ask here in the hope of finding it. I apologize in advance if it will be a bit of a confusing explanation however I have vague memories about that game. So the game was kind of cardboard type and it was a point and click almost on the yellow/horror themed escape room genre, I remember at the beginning of the game just before the title screen you see a scene of a shadow of a man (If I remember correctly he had a pig mask however since I don't remember this detail perfectly let's make it some kind of clue) holding a weapon (Which I don't even remember what that was, maybe an axe type or a chainsaw if I'm not mistaken) and in front of that of a little blonde girl and the scene makes it clear that she has been killed. Then I remember you're in this room and exactly you have to look for various clues to escape and at some point you find the little girl sleeping I don't remember where, and you try to figure out with her how to get out, and at the end of the game the protagonist comes to find out that the key to get out of the room is in the girl's body and then the scene from the beginning of the game comes up where he kills her to get it. But the nice thing is that if you restart the game and do a different action than the one where the little girl dies you finally manage to hide from the murderer (Yes there was also a murderer you have to hide from in one part of the game since he wanted to kill the little girl and afterwards you kill him if I remember correctly) and find the key and get out together with her. Guys I ask you to please help me, has anyone ever played it or remember the title on the Play Store? Sorry again for the somewhat troubled explanation
