Last I remember, you can install it with a root app from the play store. You can also jack up the bass and treble in an equalizer if you don't want to install it. Keep in mind beats audio is horrible for your music. All it is is an equalizer that destroys your mids and gives you ear splitting highs.

Sure. Do this...

I just installed It and installed the Super quality audio. Will this drain my battery if everything is turned off or is it a passive thing where it is always on?

yeah all a lie...
care to share what kernel? or are you using the voodoo control+ app?
its my kernel, they got a early release because they are testing
It'll be out in a bit...
by the looks of it you are using the current free app which means the driver must be baked into the kernel or you have some alternate way to install the module so what's the deal? are you showing screen shots of someone elses sgs phone or is there something I'm unaware of?

For us noobs can you testers tell us more about voodoo sound darn it I wanna test stuff lol! But really can you guys give me sone insight?
replaces the dac/headphone amp driver with a better one. increases volume headroom and fidelity. also has options for recording level and quality so you don't overload the input in a loud environment (concert, sportingevent) makes video recording much more usefull.
the infuse stock has really low noise and good sound but with voodoo the sound is more lively.
in a nutshell, it will explode your ears. improves sound quality.
I don't notice a huge difference, however, I'm using Motorola S10-HD Bluetooth headset.

Ask for forgiveness, and burn those abominations !
Im having the same problem with the official htc headphones that came with the phone. if i twist them a little in the headphone socket, it calls that last person in my dialled list.
My buttons on the factory headphones only work sometimes. It's so frustrating from factory headphones

The buttons on the ibeats that came with my xe work flawless so far. They also sound pretty good althogh i would not have bought them separately...akg or beyerdynamic would be my choice.

I have ibeats from a HTC Rezound. All controls work. Also have the Ecko Unlimited zip buds with inline mic and button with work with android as well. But only has one button to operate. I have these and are looking to sell them as well for 20 bux shipped in the US if interested.

Also A Jays One+ work with android as well, but haven't tried them. I heard mixed reviews on them. A Jays have a great android app for free from the market that can be used with most headsets that can control and map functions like volume control. I use the app with my ibeats buds that came with the HTC Rezound.

can anyone explain to me what is this thing?

i marked with red
Its the speaker for when you use it as a phone.

Sent from my HTC Sensation 4G using XDA App
It's what's known in the industry as a "loud speaker"
You place it to your ear (some people favour their left while other's favour their right - HTC do not dictate) during a call and you are then able to listen to the person on the other end of the call.
Ingenious I know.
oh lol i though it was the sensor

OMG, I'm missing that part, wtf?
LOL, in all seriousness, this speaks volumes (pun intended) about how people use their smartphones nowadays. They've become less and less about the phone part.
Speaks volumes about the educational system...
Being a smart phone, I thought this was an electric razor foil!?!! Is it really only a speaker? >.<

Had this problem too on stock 4.4.2 and honestly I still have it. I have camera tweaks active tho in build.prop.
Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
I think it's because the camcorder doesn't change the exposure so dark scenes are terrible but those in the light are actually the same as the camera. Go take your phone somewhere that is pretty bright and compare, they will be the same. Then somewhere dark, the camcorder will be terrible.
It's probably not because of a custom ROM.
Does not happen to me, on Carbon 4.4.2. I flashed the 4.4.3 factory image to test it too, and it didn't happen in low light nor bright conditions.
I got the same issue but I'm on slimkat 4.2.2
