I guess you are being humorous but I'm sure supercurio and all the sgs users with it would disagree.

what?

yeah all a lie...

care to share what kernel? or are you using the voodoo control+ app?

its my kernel, they got a early release because they are testing
It'll be out in a bit...

by the looks of it you are using the current free app which means the driver must be baked into the kernel or you have some alternate way to install the module so what's the deal? are you showing screen shots of someone elses sgs phone or is there something I'm unaware of?

very cool!

so yeah... jsut to get you all pumped. lol

For us noobs can you testers tell us more about voodoo sound darn it I wanna test stuff lol! But really can you guys give me sone insight?

replaces the dac/headphone amp driver with a better one. increases volume headroom and fidelity. also has options for recording level and quality so you don't overload the input in a loud environment (concert, sportingevent) makes video recording much more usefull.
the infuse stock has really low noise and good sound but with voodoo the sound is more lively.

in a nutshell, it will explode your ears. improves sound quality.

I don't notice a huge difference, however, I'm using Motorola S10-HD Bluetooth headset.

it is an improvement for the headphone amp. if you have some nice in ear headphones you notice it.

its only for headphone or aux devices...
make sure to turn up gain and it def is a improvement

Will 2.2 work with US Galaxy with FF Camera?

If Froyo 2.2 works on non US i9000 phones with front facing cameras, can I add a FFC to my US version and not have to root to make it work?

not wanting to root your phone would be the least of your concerns if you added a front facing camera. I have heard some speculation of adding one but no one who has managed to get it to work

I think i would worry about where you are putting the FFC first - if you are talking about a captivate.
Please send pics when you are done.
Easiest way to get FFC....buy phone that has the feature. End of story.

Don't be so negative... I am waiting on pics of the screen with a hole drilled in it and the camera super-glued on the front.
You guys are so negative. How hard would it be to hot glue a webcam to a Captivate? No imagination...
I posted a picture months ago with my web cam taped on top.... had to cut the tape around the prox sensor.... and i used blue painter's tape.
Yea, i have one on mine...

Infuse low SAR !!!!

I really like this phone and have left the apple world..... I did run across the SAR radiation level of the phone and saw that it was like .4 for head measurements. That is a great feature in itself.
Good info. Didn't even know you could find that

How did u find it out? I thought the SAR radiation levels site mentioned infuse around 1.26.
.2 according to cnet. I'm not sure who to believe, but I do like that its on the list of lowest in the U.S.

OMG!!! 0.2 is like nothing compared to blackberries and iphones (these have over 1.0)..!!! Looks like it was a good choice coming to Infuse.
I would not consider the 1.26 when used a a hotspot and put near head... cos I don't see anyone putting a phone near head when using as hotspot. That's ridiculous.
Yeah, this is great. I think i'm going to suggest to my mom she get a samsung when she upgrades.
Haha, yeah, I think it'll be pretty easy to not hold it to my head while i'm on a laptop using mobile AP

Time has a recent article supporting the belief that cell phones don't cause cancer.
http://healthland.time.com/2011/07/15/the-latest-volley-in-the-endless-cell-phone-cancer-war/
Either way I still love my phone!
and xkcd wrote a comic based on this that suggests something completely different.

People actually care about this? Honestly, the radiation is so minute that it would take hundreds of years to notice a difference at all.

Don't mean to start a war, but it does infact effect. Try to find a butterfly colony near any cell tower, its not easy. Anyways, point here was to convey it effects, be it little or more, and its always best to play safe, atleast where possible.

Nice find! Now its on!
It's about time, 2.3.4 kernels with oc is just around the corner. I know faux has a 2.3.4 kernel but it's a pia to setup, this should make the kernel cooking much easier.

with this solve some of the stability issues or problems/inconsistencies that are being reported in some of the ROM threads? I have not rooted because there seems to be a minor glitch in almost all the Roms (from what I have seen). Just curious

No real answer for that since most developer cook differently unless they kang.
In all seriousness though, a lot of the minor glitches do actually lead back to the kernels.

Great news, hopefully we´ll see some improvement soon in the dual core CPU in speed and battery life!!
cant wait for the latest Faux kernel!
Could this help fix the audio issue with Xboarder AOSP? I hope so

thanks. One of the problems I have is that my bluetooth stereo headset gives the person on the other line an echo when I talk. It did not happen when I used it with my HD2. Would the kernel, if addressed in the cooking, be able to fix the compatibility with 3.0 to 2.0?

Custom Radio Install (skyrocket worthy)

I have a 2000 Trans Am and the stock radio was slowly dying (3rd under warranty). Anyway, I set out to find a radio that would connect to my Skyrocket, or at the very least my old iphone that can be an ipod.
I found the Pioneer AppRadio2 in my search. It also with modifications will fit my Trans Am. Double D Mods is where I got the radio from and they modified my bezel so it would fit. They also sent me the GM wiring harness connector and antenna adapter.
My phone is running a custom ICS rom and works just fine . The testing has been done in my garage and not on the road because they have torn up my neighborhood roads this week. I will be able to get out on new roads tomorrow! I expect all to be just fine.
here's what it looks like powered up but not connected.

I was excited like, someone made a custom radio for the Skyrocket? SAVE MY BATTERY!
But was totally thrown in the opposite direction.
I have a JVC Arsenal double din MM receiver in my truck and it works flawlessly with my Skyrocket (BT Audio and hands free).
Sorry to have misled some of you!

Nope, Just tried it.
Very nice looking case and should provide excellent protection, but appears to be a bit thick for my taste. Also, doesn't look like it will be a fingerprint magnet, which is a plus.
I've had my commuter for a few days now. I love it, not one complaint.

i think there is just root for i337 and to flash roms you have to unlock it and install a custom recovery;but there is not a boot loader unlocker yet!
