I really like this phone and have left the apple world..... I did run across the SAR radiation level of the phone and saw that it was like .4 for head measurements. That is a great feature in itself.
Good info. Didn't even know you could find that

How did u find it out? I thought the SAR radiation levels site mentioned infuse around 1.26.
.2 according to cnet. I'm not sure who to believe, but I do like that its on the list of lowest in the U.S.

OMG!!! 0.2 is like nothing compared to blackberries and iphones (these have over 1.0)..!!! Looks like it was a good choice coming to Infuse.
I would not consider the 1.26 when used a a hotspot and put near head... cos I don't see anyone putting a phone near head when using as hotspot. That's ridiculous.
Yeah, this is great. I think i'm going to suggest to my mom she get a samsung when she upgrades.
Haha, yeah, I think it'll be pretty easy to not hold it to my head while i'm on a laptop using mobile AP

Time has a recent article supporting the belief that cell phones don't cause cancer.
http://healthland.time.com/2011/07/15/the-latest-volley-in-the-endless-cell-phone-cancer-war/
Either way I still love my phone!
and xkcd wrote a comic based on this that suggests something completely different.

People actually care about this? Honestly, the radiation is so minute that it would take hundreds of years to notice a difference at all.

Don't mean to start a war, but it does infact effect. Try to find a butterfly colony near any cell tower, its not easy. Anyways, point here was to convey it effects, be it little or more, and its always best to play safe, atleast where possible.

Mind heading over to the infuse development forums and providing a system dump to us AT&T users. It will greatly help the Custom ROM development on your shiny new Infuse and make it a better experience for everyone

I would love to get my hands on the infuse, from what I've read its an amazingly well built phone with the power to back up the looks and I've been a huge samsung fan since the first galaxy phones came out. I definitely will have to get one for dev/personal use when my finances allow, and also the wife....lol

Lol yeah it is huge the icons on it are bigger than some of my widgets on my cappy and I've seen portable dvd players with less screen. It truly is a monster of a phone, but in a good way, not like the motorola bricks of the 80's that you had no hope of fitting in even a large coat pocket, they were some sturdy pieces of tech though I have one that I held onto that's been thrown, sat on, coffee spilled on, the list goes on and it still powers on and holds a charge and had 0 cracks anywhere on it, well the last time I had it out anyways, its been a lil while and after moving its hard to say.

I thought I would be leaving the mt4g when I got the galaxy nexus...as I will.
But still my stupid volume rockers stopped working.. I have insurance so so I called t mobile and they are expecting my mytouch 4g slide to arrive friday. :/
So I will miss all thegreat developers in this phones dev section. Thanks for all your great work!

Awww, too bad dude. Hopefully development for the slide goes crazy. Have fun.

I've been really down on T-Mobile lately, but it's nice that they're replacing MT4G's with the 4G Slide now. I certainly have no need for a physical keyboard and wouldn't want the added bulk, but the slightly better performance specs are nice.
Are you claiming it on the insurance or is this an actual t-mobile store replacing it?

T mobile is replacing it, it had 90 day warranty on it plus insurance. Thru the warranty technically :tho. Y?

Google just about any phone with "burst into flames" and you'll get some hits. I think Apple owns the patent on exploding phones, they invented it.

Apple is the king of melting phones. I find it really odd that it never makes news anymore considering its still happening on a regular basis. A coworker just had his 4s melt down on his desk. It was completely stock too. Seems to happen a lot, but apple trolls are quick to remove that kinda stuff from the interwebz.

apple is going to sue samsung now that the gs3 is exploding
I didn't see if it was a quad core or our dual variant, but the tear down of a quad core only showed 2 copper spring contacts that link another board to main board and there really isn't much else in the area shown. Hard to tell I guess. I just dont see what could have caused that much damage.

We have just been using a seidio case with kickstand, but had thought about something like your's though. Shame it isn't an old xbox controller that had the slots on top, would make for easy expansion.
Going to work something up though when I go see my brother in law.

I was thinking about a kick stand sorta deal but that wasn't going to do it for me. Found some new pieces and came up with this. Its 100x better allows me to fully use my controller and doesn't require as much stuff constraining my controller.
Anyone else?

Games, its an easy way to play. Others sometimes use kickstands or just lay it down.
I had a cord come in today that
was HDMI for certain phones.. but apparently mine only uses composite so I did sorta get jipped. Was planning using the TV if it worked.

But am not sure if it provides the feature you ask.

Yeah not really what I'm looking for tbh. Need something that is basically pc driven with a feature where you can just plug an Android device in and read the true battery capacity of the state it is at now, and the charging cycle count. Would have thought if there was one for Apple products somehow there would be a program to check android devices
