Introduction
This is not a full ROM but a MOD making the stock android looks and feel like MIUI ROM. I have been trying to port the complete MIUI rom since last couple of week but without success so until @ubberlaggydarwin release his CM11 for us, I won't try porting the complete rom.

Installation
Download MIUI ROM from 2nd Post
Extract the zip file and you will find two folder inside
Move MIUIrom folder to the root of your Internal storage
Make sure your mobile is connected to the computer & screen is unlocked
Navigate to MIUIrom PC folder from your PC and click on the setup.bat file provider
Let the application do its work. It might take some time and at the end your device will reboot itself
Voila its done and you will have MIUI home as your home launcher after your device starts up.

I'm just saying man. You don't have to ask that, the reason why it's a rom thread, is because users can download and use this rom and report to the developers about any bugs or anything if there are any.

You can use xposed installer>gravity box to change the dpi of navigation bar and status bar

It doesn't matter if you have odex or deodex rom. But i would prefer stock rom and it must be rooted. :good:
Correct if I'm wrong, but Tapatalk_pro apk on applications folder is a Paid App from Play Store dude. Swiftkey_Keyboard at same folder is an paid Application too, but he has a free trial version.
Post content with this kind of applications are against XDA Rules.

I have used the same home launcher and i have told you already. I have already told you in my first post 'This is the mod'/package not the complete rom. I haven't tried developing patchrom but is currently waiting for bugfree cm or aosp for full fledge miui rom. Have patience I will update this thread in comming days with complete miui rom.

Please report the bugs in bug section of this rom. I will try to patch these bugs in my comming build or will provide you with small updates to patch them.

How to install this ROM
First of all you have to install the base ROM, the newest base ROM at this moment is v1.0.1!
At first you have to download the zip file of the ROM
After that you extract the .tar file from the .zip
Then you turn off your phone and put it in download mode (turn on with vol down + home button)
Open ODIN and select the file as "one package" and press start
After flashing the ROM is ready for use!!
Enjoy
To install the newest version, first install v1.0.1 and then install the newest version with an update.zip through CWM. Always flash v1.0.1 first!!

AOSP stands for "Android Open Source Project". It is directly from Android. You can search google for more info, right now I am on my phone.
With this AOSP Style ROM I want to achieve a ROM which looks excactly as AOSP is. This because I like the look and performance of it.

1. no keyboard
just install any keyboard you preferred
2. Force close
FC problem will be solved after installing any keyboard
3.How to use MIUI theme
open data/system and create a folder name "theme"
4. Can't install some app updates like flash player from Market
Just uninstall the app using app like" system app removal" and do a fresh install from market, sometimes a restart is required after a fresh install

Copy the attached files to /system/app and change the permission to rw_r__r__

why all the pictures show only homescreens with various miui locker lol.. can someone confirm it's miui rom? using google translator it seems like a i9001 rom with miui theme and some 9003 applications. but if it's really a miui rom ported it's great news for i9001!

so the audio is working??... cuz thats the only thing YardE and Skywalker are having major troubles with... and yea MIUI is based on cyanogenmod... they just make their own tweaks and UI optimiztions on top of cyanogenmod...

Edit: Tried it audio is perfect no problems someone inform YardE and SkyWaker...
The keyboard is working with a alternative .apk ! This rom is very excellent !!!

Note : Input Keyboard (Hence the FC as installing keyboard my FC problem solved) and Android Market is missing in the ROM...
Copy the attached files to /system/app and change the permission to rw_r__r__ to have both (Keyboard & Market) working...

well since there is still the touchwizz apk's in the app folder it is not based on aosp

If you want to remove Google Now and return to stock, flash the following zip. We here at TeamMixMiui like to customize our Rom but we want to give everybody the possibility to choose which Apps they want to have installed and which ones they don't.
Soon we will be releasing a slimmer Rom with less preinstalled Apps.
There is no need for you to have a Facebook App preinstalled that you remove cause you don't have a Facebook Account.

Edit: don't think ibotpeaches has a version of the mix-mash. Looking at his downloads they're all JB version Miui.

I'm pretty sure the release he has for the DHD is based on this rom. It's on Goo.im

Looking forward to some screenshots to show the Sense features. I currently use and keep coming back to MIUI DHD 2.4.20 (GB). After recently testing and appreciating a couple of Sense roms, I'm curious about MIUI with Sense.

Looking forward to some screenshots to show the Sense features. I currently use and keep coming back to MIUI DHD 2.4.20 (GB). After recently testing and appreciating a couple of Sense roms, I'm curious about MIUI with Sense.

Yeh the camera works really well too, it feels lightweight with the beastmode kernel and has some of the sense features people love.....brilliant Idea!!!

Hey sorry, I scoured the development forum for it but couldn't find it so thought I should share it. Thanks for the info about the sense apk's though......Might have to play around with a few myself....

i dont hv problem restoring any backup uisng TWRP. im not sure about CWM.

this kanged rom will be updated whenever new CM10.1 nightlies/stable is available. but no guarantee tho as my broadband is very limited & speed is capped when reach quota :crying:
it takes ~10 minutes for me to mod the latest but to dload/upload may take time.

never tried "memo" or "floatnote" (it's the first time I try them)...so, I don't know if they are really great or if it is because 4.2.1 bring to better performance of Pen, but: pen is really really smoother, precise, real time etc than any other s-pen, papyrus or other tried to any other rom based on 4.1.2.....

Miui is Sammy base and 4.1.1 all 4,2 and 4.3 Roms are Aosp roms ! I think you can wait a long Time

Could well be the case. Off course MI2 phone has the 4.2 update if I am not mistaken.
And off course Sammy will be updating devices to 4.3 anywhere the coming 3 months...

ok I have installed the ROM, its beautifully done, quick and amazing, very nice bootanimation and music but I can't get root access, I am going in permissions manager and clicking on root access but it won't turn on, USB debugging is on and also unknown sources is checked in security. No root access at the moment can't restore data cos I need root access, I love the ROM please suggest, thank you for your help, Regards.
