[GUIDE] [NO ROOT] transfer some apps from Internal Storage tp Sd Card - Sony Xperia L

It's working for me, so I think it will also be working for you all...
I hope it isn't repost, too... This is only for apps which could be transfered to Internal storage...
To transfer some apps from Internal Storage to SD Card :
You'll need :
- Apps which moved to Internal Storage
- ZArchiver
1. Move apps to Internal storage, for apps which could be moved to Internal Storage
2. Install ZArchiver from Play Store and Open ZArchiver, and now, go to sdcard0, go to Android, go to data, and select which apps you want to move to sd card, by tapping them as screenshots I have included in the next post, and then press settings button, and press cut, and then go back, back, and back, and press sdcard1, then select android, and select data, then press the button which I included in a picture below for paste your data into sd card.
3. And after you do 2nd step, you close the app and go to some apps those you moved to sd card, and you could see that the app is working like the first time you install those apps, and don't do anything, just cancel it after you open the app, close the app.
4. Now go to ZArchiver again, and go to sdcard1 > Android > data > and select apps which you moved to sd card earlier, all of them > and move it again to sdcard0 by selecting settings button > cut > and press back again 3 times > select sdcard0 > android > data > and paste those apps there by pressing paste button at the top of the app > wait for paste.
5. Close ZArchiver.
6. Go to apps which you already moved to sd card, see it's working.
7. And besides on it's working again, go to settings > storage, and see your internal storage's free of space.
And that's it, all your selected apps are transfered to sd card.
If you have question or anything to to say to me, please do it at the comment section below.
Do it at your own risk...

First of all, I am not clear why you mentioned ZArchiver? as this could be done with any file manager app. Now, do you even know that this will not work with many apps or games? Some games like Robocop will work and no need to do that with ZArchiver, just move the data to external sd card and it is okay. But very limited apps support this.

Move apps/games from internal sd card to external sd card using DIRECTORY BIND!!!!

XDA member Slig has created an application called Directory Bind which "binds" the two directories thus
making installation of HD games and apps of gigantic size easy. The app requires your phone to be rooted.
To get this application to work:
1. Make sure you are rooted.
2. Download Directory Bind and install the app using any file manager.
3. Create a folder in the external sdcard for the app/game data which you want to move. Name it
anything you can recognize it with.
4. By long tapping on the source and target fields, you can select the path from which you want to
move to the path to which you want the data to be moved. Source (data) path is the Location to
which you want your app/game data to be moved while target path is the Location at which the data
is currently present.
5. Make sure the Transfer files box is checked so that the files are automatically copied to the folder in
the external sdcard.
6. To select external sdcard, you will need to press "up" button at the bottom right of the screen, and
then tap on "mnt" to select whichever location you want.
7. This way you can move all your apps data to the external sdcard and enjoy rnore HD garnes by using
a external sdcard of large size .
If seem confusing to you, watch this video. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p8PyqCOpERA
Join the XDA thread for this app for support from the developer . Again Thanks to Slig http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1410262 for bringing this extremely useful app for us.

How to move apps 2 sd card?

Hello everyone,
I have a serious problem here. Before factory reset everything was just fine (except that my phone won't connect to my google account, but i already fixed that) Now after factory reset i can't move some apps/games to my sd card! It's annoying because i have just 160MB internal storage, and now its just less than 50MB free. I heard about all those app2sd apps and so on, but they say that it's can't be movable to sd card, when i was able to do so before the factory reset. And this is a little bit tricky because before factory reset i had this option in my settings->application setting menu, a "preferred install location" and when i pressed that it opened a menu with 3 options:
1.Removable SD card
2.Let the system decide
3.Internal memory.
When i selected external SD card it allowed me to move almost every app (except updates to the pre-installed apps like maps, youtube, facebook etc.) But now there is no option "preferred install location"... So the question is: what i should do, to make this option available again?
My phone is Huawei U8650 sonic with stock-fresh android 2.3.5
I was googling for this problem for 2 days and no answer. I also posted this problem on 2 other forums but nobody knows the answer Please can somebody here help me? I would really appreciate that.
English is not my native language - sorry for mistakes and have a good day!
You could try the app - Link2SD - this app can move almost everything because it replaces the original app with a link.
Apart from that, have u tried to boot into recovery and run repair permissions and cleanded dalvik cache?
Hope I could help.

Really, Im not advanced enough in android to understand what you mean, but i think I'll try to do what you said, and i will reply if it worked or not. Oh yeah does this method need root?
EDIT: so i entered the recovery menu and all I got is;
Reboot system now
apply update from sdcard
wipe data/factory reset
wipe cache partition
wipe misc partition
touchscreen firmware update
I wiped the misc and cache partition, gonna try now.
EDIT 2: no luck, wiping cache and misc didn't helped...
Link2SD is an app you can dowload from the play store - yes I think it needs root - but it is simple as simple to use like any app 2 sd - just give it a try :fingers-crossed:
S2E is good one

First root your device then install clockworkmod recovery for xperia j. After that boot into recovery by turning off you phone then turn on again when Sony logo appears continually press vol- key. When recovery screen appears use vol- and vol+ to navigate the menu and power to select. Navigate to advanced then partition sd card. Select how big you want the ext partition this is for your apps then how big you want swap partiton then partition sd. Then download link2sd from google play and install. Open the app accept superuser prompt then a screen will popup asking for the format of your partition choose ext4. Then it will say mount scripts created please reboot your device then there you go done. To move your apps open link2sd then press menu then multi select all the apps that cant be moved the tick box will be faded out. After you've selected all apps press actions then create link after its finished all your apps will be on the partition and not your system. After that to auto link newly installed apps press menue settings and check auto link apps. WARNING!!!! Partitioning the sd will wipe it so backup to pc or laptop first. For rooting and clockworkmod recovery ther are numorous threads around this forum to tell you how. Hope this helps you.

Folder mount is your best bet. Search for it, or look in android/apps and games, or android/ software development,(i forget which) or even Google play. It is what i use, but it only allows you to link directories, its not the same as the swap script. I think i read that someone linked data/media, but i just use it to link downloads and a few large obb folders.

What i did is
1 make a folder on my SD card where i wanted to link a folder from my internal memory to.
2. Open folder mount.
3. Press the + icon
4 pick a name for the link, to better manage it.
5. Select the folder from the internal SD card that you want to link as the source.
6 select the external folder you made in step one as the destination.
It will then ask you if you want to move the files over. I always say yes, other people move the files over first then do the above steps, up to you. After the files are done. Make sure the pin icon is clicked. Its either white or green, i forget. I moved all my obb folders over, and the apps still run.

Change Default SD/Data Directory?

I have an application that uses a lot of data storage. However, my internal storage (sdcard0) is internal, and is only 1.4 GB. The data is almost 4 GB. The app looks by default in /sdcard0/Android/data. How can I change this to /sdcard1/Android/data?
