I got a Moto G Dual Sim (xt1033) from my friend and it came with 4.3, yesterday I manually updated the phone to 4.4.2 and everything works fine except one problem I noticed. When dialing with 4.4.2 I can hear ringtone, but if nobody answers the phone or receiver denies the call, then I can hear nothing. Usually when dialing is timeout or denied by receiver, you can hear the busy signal or something about the subscriber is not answering the phone. I downgraded to 4.3 stock rom and no problem at all, I can hear the busy signal or no one answer the phone.
Does anyone have the same problem?

You may try clearing the cache...
Just follow these steps :
1- Hold Volume down button for 3 sec, then power button for 2 sec still holding the volume down button.. Now Release both
2- use vol down button to navigate and vol up to confirm choice in this menu
Go To Recovery by vol down 2 times then vol up...to go into recovery
3- You'll see an Android in distress lying down ... with "No Command"
4- Press vol up and power button simultaneously....
5- Now scroll down to wipe cache partition using vol down key... press power to select...
Now It'll reboot...after clearing the cache...
And you should be fine...

So I decided to wipe my data and install vegan 5.1 again and everything worked well untill i pressed reboot system. After shutting down your device, press volume down button and power button together and at the same time until the LG logo appears on the screen.
When the LG logo is displayed, let go of the power button, but keep pressing the volume down key.
Now press once more power button.
Once you do that, on your LG G Pro 2 the factory reset menu will be displayed.
Press power button in order to agree and wait while the hard reset is being completed.
Then, if you want you can enter recovery mode for clearing cache and for performing other operations.
Go back to Android OS by selecting „reboot system now”.

I've tried this myself too, but it booted the phone in Safe Mode and after that won't turn on.
The phone is on stock rom and is the D83810f 16 GB version. After I took out and reinserted the battery again, the phone started normaly.

actually, this worked for me...
Turn off the LG G PRO 2 (F350 / D837 / D838)
Make sure the battery LG G PRO 2 (F350 / D837 / D838) already full or more than 50%
Press together and hold the Power Button + Volume Down Button
If the Logo appear, then release all button, after that continue with press again Volume Up Button + Volume Down Button together then we are already at Recovery mode
Choose wipe data/factory reset using Volume Button, and press Power Button to Enter or OK
The LG G PRO 2 (F350 / D837 / D838) will continue master reset, wait for several minutes until the the phone start like new again.

BUT, instead of restarting, it takes me to philz touch recovery that I had installed after rooting. THen when I restart from there, it goes into the LG splansh screen and stays there forever. Can anyone help me with this?
Also, Philz touch recovey asks me to fix root before restarting. Is is necessary? I think selecting that option is causing the soft-brick.
Anybody have a clue?
You better keep a copy of workable ROM in your root directory, so that you can flash anytime to rescue your phone.

turn off phone...press power botton and vol up same time....when logo appear..release vol up but keep pressing power untill you see korean stuff or recovery appears...then press vol down..thats for lolipop or when you have custom recovery installed... Now if your on kitkat try this ...turn off phone...press power botton and vol down...when logo appear release power botton and keep pressing vol down and vol up same time untill recovery appears....hit tnx if it works

I have a Moto G XT1033 indian version (v4.4.4). I was sharing files using superbeam when my phone suddenly rebooted. I have timepin app installed which sets the pin to the current time and my default pin is 1234. I tried both of them but it did not open. Tried the android device manager too but seems i did not setup remote locking. Motorola support doesnt list my device though i have an email which says my device is registered with Moto. Plus i tried booting into recovery but it says no command and android bot in distress. I dont want to lose any data but as a last resort i tried formatting too but the phone reboots normally and the format gets cancelled. I dont to lose my data, Is there anyway that unlocks my phone without wiping the data??
1.On The No Command screen , Press and hold Volume Up Button While pressing it Press power button for 2-3 Seconds And Release Power button You Will Boot In Recovery Now.
2.Don't worry it's normal problem... U Can Format if u want by using safe mode just press the power button and again press and hold Power off Option it will ask you "Reboot you to safe mode" just click yes And Reset your phone.

Go to Settings>Wifi>Advance (top right)>Wifi Frequency band and select 2.4 HGz only.
1. Hold power button and shut down phone.
2. Once the phone is shut down, hold the volume down button then press power button for approx. 3 seconds and let go.
3. You will see a white screen, using the volume buttons for up/down and power to select: scroll to Recovery and press power. The screen should be black.
4. Now press the volume up then power button for approx. 3 seconds and you should see a black screen with blue lettering and a red triangle in the center.
5. Scroll down using the volume down and select Wipe Cache Partition. At the bottom will say Cache wipe complete in yellow.
6. Press power button selecting Reboot System Now. Phone will reboot and should be working. Try to connect to wifi.
this may delete your app data so backup everything first
by app backup and restore

sorry to say..but it did not solve the issue
well.. once earlier.....one of my friend had same issue ( WIFI AND BLUETOOTH DID NOT WORK) .. he flashed with STOCK ROM via ADB...n also some boot.img file... i dun remember..
so i ask u to plz provide STOCK ROM.... n other files which need to be flashed

Typical steps to enter recovery mode not working (F350S model)
I have F350S model which I rooted, and accidentally deleted "phone" from the system apps. Was unable to make calls or texts, and I could not find any help to reinstall the deleted "phone" apk (it may not be so simple to "just re-install it", I suppose). My solution was to re-stall a fresh stock ROM (it is 4.4 kitkat),.......BUT....I cannot find any stock ROM online for this phone. So, I decided to use Lollipop upgrade (Future 3.2 ROM).
I installed Lollipop, and everything appeared to be successful. I made phone call and texts, had wifi, and was re-installing my games and social media apps. Then, suddenly, I get an error "Unfortunately, LG IMS has stopped." The error is persistent. I cannot get away from it. I say "OK" and it just comes back. I have no idea what "LG IMS" is, or why it stopped.
I figure I will just re-install the Future 3.2 ROM again and start over. I need to enter recovery mode, and the instructions to do this are one of three possible ways:
1.) Power off, then hold POWER and VOLUME DOWN buttons. When startup logo appears, RELEASE, and then hold POWER and VOLUME DOWN buttons again, and then phone should enter recovery mode. But it does not! It just boots up to the "LG IMS has stopped" error, again,
or 2.) Power off, then hold POWER and VOLUME DOWN buttons. When startup logo appears, release POWER BUTTON ONLY (keep holding VOLUME DOWN button, do not release), then press POWER button again. Phone should enter recovery mode, but it does not! Same as above,
or 3.) Same as above, but after startup logo appears, hold down BOTH VOLUME UP AND DOWN. But...same results. No recovery mode and boots directly to persistent error.

I think this is the same from F320S from my Wife.
Press and Hold Power and Volume Down When startup logo appears, RELEASE and Press and Hold Power and Volume Up
until the Korean characters Comes and a little longer

Thank for reply, but this button combo no worky, either.
If I hold down ALL THREE BUTTONS, I get a Korean screen, IMEI number with barcode, with 3 options, but I cannot tell what any of it says. I tried all 3 options, and they all just cause the phone to restart. Not sure what they do.
any further information ? I get entering the recovery problem too !
If you are using custom recovery (TWRP or CWM) to enter the recovery press and hold the POWER and VOL UP while your phone is turned off, wait for the Korean characters to appear then release the buttons.
