Hello guys,
I have a Moto G, Dual Sim variant.
I decided to lock my bootloader, but even after i locked the bootloader back, the warning on the boot screen won't go
Can anyone help?
Thanks in advance!
Fix
Im assuming you're talking about the screen saying "Warning Bootloader Unlocked"??
If so, unlock your bootloader, get a custom recovery like CWM or TWRP.
Follow the instructions over here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2548530
Download the second zip in the OP, "logo.zip"
Go to your recovery and flash it.
Your Warning Screen should be gone

This will remove the unlock message but if you check on the fastboot screen your phone will still say locked. code 2 Once unlocked you can relock the bootloader but you can never get back to a locked code 0
Forgot to mention that. What he said. Once you unlock your bootloader, it will never be 0. If you try to go for warranty or something like that, I'm assuming that's how Motorola or whatever will know you unlocked your bootloader and hence, voided your warranty.
Thank you everyone, I just wanted to unlock the bootloader because i am giving my Moto to my brother
Accidentally relocked the bootloader before flashing system files provided by Google (flash-all)
Now I'm getting a message that the system files are corrupted and I can not get into recovery or unlock my bootloader.
Any help would be appreciated.
red screen or yellow warning screen.. if red and if you can still use fastboot there is a continue command that allows you to boot the phone up..then booted go into developers options, toggle oem locking and then boot back into bootloader and unlock again
fastboot continue
Sent from my marlin using XDA Labs

Hi,
My phone went into a boot loop.
I can access the fastboot menu but the device is locked, I obviously now cannot enter developer options to unlock it
When means I can't unlock the bootloader, and without unlocking the bootloader I can't reflash the device. Bit of a loop of death
Any suggestions or is it a door wedge?

Hello and welcome to XDA-developers!
You can follow this guide to flash stock firmware through fastboot. If you have any doudts just report!
Tablet stuck in boot loop. Can get into fastboot mode but bootloader is not unlocked. I have tested some fastboot commands and they do work, just none which are useful in fixing the issue. Does anyone know of a place to obtain a bootloader code or any feedback on how to fix this? I have firmware downloaded and have tried the volume-/+ and power and that does not work. Just goes back to the logo page. Assume the only fix currently is through the fastboot. One other thing to note when I boot into fastboot it says PHONE unlocked, FRP unlocked which I assume meant bootloader is unlocked but does not seem to be the case.
I was following https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/signing-boot-images-for-android-verified-boot-avb-v8.3600606/ to sign boot and recovery images. Then flashed and relocked bootloader. But phone stuck at black screen.
Has anyone managed to self sign and relock bootloader with custom ROM?
