I was following https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/signing-boot-images-for-android-verified-boot-avb-v8.3600606/ to sign boot and recovery images. Then flashed and relocked bootloader. But phone stuck at black screen.
Has anyone managed to self sign and relock bootloader with custom ROM?

I´ve the same problem, currently i am trying other RUU out because i suppose that I ´ve flashed the wrong one.
I solve the probelm for me, this problem appears because i deffenetly installed the wrong RUU.
I used the folowing RUU: RUU_Ville_U_HTC_Europe_1.53.401.2_Radio_0.15.31501S.19_10.12.31501S.06L_release_251412_signed.exe

What method did you use to unlock / install recovery?
When i did the OTA update, the device is bootlooping. Unfortunately i dont have an unlocked bootloader and have no way of unlocking it as the phone needs to restart to unlock the bootloader. It still stays locked after go to fastboot mode again. I have the stock image from google but have no way of flashing it. Is there anyway to unlock the bootloader without having to restart?
The bootloader relocks itself after reboot? If it does, the emmc is defective and cannot be repaired by reflashing a stock rom or custom rom.
So i relocked the bootloader becouse adb did not want to accept any commands.
I had an unlocked bootloader but i have read on the forums that it locks it self but says its unlocked anyway.
So i locked and unlocked the bootloader
And I can't enter fastboot or boot the phone. It's just stuck.
eRecovery does not boot.
All it says is The phone is unlocked and unsafe... Booting ... and nothing happens its just stays like that....
Can someone help me?
Hey guys!
I've a moto xt1900
I wanted to root the phone, so i flashed magisk, then it gave a bootloop, so i got back, and flash a stockrom with a .bat, to lock the bootloader (i dind't now that)
then now i'm stuck with the bootloader message, i can't flash anything.
The bootloader is locked, but still have that message., stucked.
can someone help me?
hi all,
I have an unlocked bootloader but not root, and the stock ROM (never changed)
I've read this guide to go back to stock but as I'm not rooted or have a custom rom, would it be possible to simply re-lock the bootloader for the nasty boot up screen message to disappear?

If you just unlock the bootloader without changing any partitions (like boot, system, recovery etc), you can simply relock the bootloader with the unlock code. But by doing that, the phone will fully factory reset, you may lose all data without backup.
