Need blaze.PIT - Samsung Galaxy S Blaze 4G

I am not able to download the blaz.pit file link is broken. Does anyone have it? Thanks

Same here, the K0nane one at shabbypenguin.com/k0/ is a dead link. Anyone have a copy of the k0nane Blaze Pit?
EDIT: Here I finally found an active link for the Blaze.pit, it's for ICS not JB though!

There is no JB pit because ICS is the last official update so it was the last official root method. If you're running JB on the Blaze, you're rooted!

shabbypenguin link is broken. The link provided here gives me a "Your computer has been infected...." message. Is there anyone who has a copy of blaze.pit so I can unlock this phone? I know this last post is 3 years old. I know it's a [email protected] old phone at this point. All I want is to get some experience with rooting a phone so I know how NOT to brick my good one.

I'm not aware of a non-rooted stock KD1. I think people are trying to get one built for those that want stock Froyo.
Given that you're sending it in for a repair, I'd suggest installing the stock 2.3.6 (KJ6) as it's a Samsung official release. Once you get it back you can go back to KD1 with root.
Thank you.

I didn't realize you could unroot with it. Good info; thanks
I don't think you can unroot ROMs that were made.pre-rooted by just using SOC. I tried it before on a ROM (can't remember which) and it failed.
EDIT: If you didn't flash that file for root and instead rooted it with SOC previously, you can still unroot it.
If someone could be so kind to upload a Odin Stock KD1 without root, it would help solve some of these Froyo questions

Here's a site I found useful. samfirmware.com. I used it to return both my Vibrant and SGS4G to stock using Odin.
Hope this can help someone.

This link I posted above - [ROM][STOCK UVKD1 - FLASHABLE] T959VUVKD1 Zip File - is the same file and was taken off of the samfirmware.com website.
Samfirmware.com doesn't have the files on their site anymore. They are SamMobile.com now.

Odin Back to Stock Issue

Ok...I want to update to ICS but idk what's wrong wit my Odin. I downloaded everything I needed when I first got the phone and I got it from....http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1591601
[HOWTO][TAR][BLAZE 4G] THE ODIN THREAD :: Return to stock, fix soft brick :: 4/9/12...now when I use to return to stock it worked perfectly. Now when I need it the most its not. When I click on PDA and go to the folder with the TAR file is located...its not there. Well..its there...just Odin doesn't pick up on it I guess. Anybody know what's going on?

How can i get rid of the custom Binary thing? I also testing my charge with Skyrocket app and it says slow charge. Its taking forever to charge with ICS. Im thinking I need to Odin to stock again, but dont really know how. Plus I dont want to wait another hour and a half to update ICS thru Kies again. Can i just flash the ICS version thru Odin with the blaze pit? Im hoping that would fix the awful battery life im getting too.

I'm running rooted stock ICS just like you, and have custom binary as well. I think having custom is normal. Before upgrading to ICS, it was Samsung Official, though.

It likely comes from the custom recovery.bin - i.e. CWM recovery. It'll go away if you flash/Odin a stock variant.

[Q] Atrix 2 Soft Brick

Im not sure if this is in the wrong section, but im freaking out. I recently installed ROM Toolbox and changed the font on my phone. It has worked once before, but now when I tried it is stuck in boot. I can enter recovery and fastboot. I looked online and saw that there is a tutorial for flashing back to stock ics. Im scared about doing that as i recently learned that the bootloader is locked. If its not locked, would be this be the correct thing to flash 6.7.2_EDEM-18-SEARET_cfc.xml.z***ip. Here is the sight that has all the stock roms (not letting me post links yet. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I guess, since your post count is low (< 10). This is the reason you are being prevented from attaching a file.
Just grab your fxz file from here:
http://sbf.droid-developers.org/edison/list.php
That is where all the fxz files are stored and you do not need an id/login to DL them from there. This is the link we always give people.
Just load the fxz file into RSD lite and flash it, and you should be good. Just wait for a while, it can take several min. to flash. Wait until RSD lite says PASS. Your phone will reboot several times while it flashes, that is normal.

Customer base and update cycles are two completely different things. And judging by my coworker who has a gs3 and doesn't even know what a premuim suite update is and doesn't care, I think Verizon will be fine sending out updates whenever they want.

I rooted my s3 a couple of months ago. Now that 4.1.2 is out, how do I update & re-root it? Do I just download an updated rooted image & boot into recovery mode and flash it, or is there more to it than that? Any help is greatly appreciated!

well, that didn't quite work
so I downloaded the file CF-Auto-Root-m3-m3zh-gti9305 (hopefully that was the right one for 4.1.2 rooted). I booted into recovery mode, started odin. Chose PDF and selected the file, hit Start. After about 15 seconds I get a "Fail" message. Phone won't boot at all. Did I select the wrong image? How do I get my phone back?
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Thinking that this was the wrong file, I went to this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2046439
and downloaded the For VRBMB1 (Jelly Bean 4.1.2) file. That updated correctly via Odin, and phone now reboots. Looks like it's still at 4.1.1 however....

Cannot Upgrade to ICS or JB P6200L - Complete(write) fail

When I got my Tab 7 Plus, it cames with th 3.2 Firmware. After a while I upgraded it to 4.0.3 official leak. Now When I try to flash the official 4.1.2, I get the "Complete(Write) operation failed" error.
I tried going back to 4.0.3 but nada. Tried some other country firmwares. Nothing. Flashing a 3.2 did work. Then i tried to go from 3.2 to 4.1.2, and can't either
Help.
Cheers,
Paul
I dont think the JB was made for 6200L.
Could be why. now you may need a .pit file.

Thanks for the idea.
After posting the problem yesterday, I continued searching for a solution and fiddling with it.
I recalled that on the first update attempt, I had checked "repartition" and used a PIT file from an unspecified Samsung tablet. It then occurred to me that the PIT file could be the issue so I downloaded a new one specifically for P6200 from droiddevelopers.com (cannot post the link due to forum rules)
Did it work? YES, PROBLEM SOLVED! I am now running official Jelly Bean.
Moral of the story is NEVER check "repartition" unless you have the specific PIT file for your device. If you still prefer repartitioning with each update, please download the correct PIT file from the above link.
