[Q] Doubts before buying: s-pen compatibility & more

I am thinking about buying the Note 10.1, but I will want to put a custom rom (CM), I am afraid that S-Pen will not work (which is mainly why I am thinking of buying the tablet).
Does S-Pen work (or expected to work, based on Note Phones experience) with custom roms? (In particular, with Non-touchwizd roms)
Is S-Pen (and palm rejection) only compatible with Samsung programs?

S-Pen works fine on the AOKP rom - RR rom... It works on all apps, though some are designed for it. You can use handwriting as a default on the stock samsung keyboard, it just turns it to normal text in most writing programs... S-notes, 7notes and a few others allow you to write freehand and don't change it to text... They allow you to write a note in your own handwriting.

The s-pen has an "s-pen" API that Samsung has open sourced, but is not a part of the android stack. There are noticeable differences in how Photoshop reads the pen on cm10 vs Samsung branded 4.0.4. If the s-pen api were to be integrated into our cm10, it should fix all these problems. I found it worth reverting to stock as how Photoshop has updated to include responsiveness that the s-pen API affords. (Jumping between pressure levels that I know I can render with a pencil) basically android's wacom driver isn't as sophisticated as Samsung's s-pen API. I'm guessing here is where the problem is, but it's a noticeable difference, or I wouldn't mention it.
That said, don't let cm10 determine whether you get this thing or not. I'm pleasantly surprised at how subdued touchwiz has become, though I use apex launcher (which doesn't stop multi window, pop out windows, etc)

Diff cascade multi window mod.

Has anyone seen this 5 option cascade/ multi window mod. Like the mod done with Note II, trying to replicate floating (cascade) multi windows. On our Note 10.1
As seen in the clip below with note 2. You can have an Onscreen Cornerstone type deal thing, but way better. Has anyone seen this with our Note 10.1?

He took this "Codesnippet" from a old leaked release (4.1.1 ?!) for our Note 10.1. Samsung disabled this feature for the official Jellybean release.

Ok, samsung disable this feature? but can anyone enable this? on note 2 people make it work on custom roms, or for note 10.1 it's no way to port?

hello everyone......i have one very big question...
can the GALAXY TAB 2 10.1 WIFI P5110 be made to see...and can it connect to an ad hoc network?
i am trying to set my tablet up for work.
i will not continue if it is not able to.
please let me know....and if it can.....how?
if there is a rom that has ad hoc supported that would be great...
currently i am using cm10.2 nightly android 4.3
i see that this rom may support the ad hoc....but how do i use the kernel?

[Rom introduction/feature request]

As a few of you may know me from the xda forums and my contributions every now and then i get an old device i like to mess around on where i either create a great rom or tool or toast the device, now is the galaxy note 3's turn.
I will be throwing together a rom based on the latest officially supported update for the note 3 and will be making the rom as flexible as can be, this includes stabillity mods, optimization mods, mods to make the device alot smoother and fluent and ofcoarse my internal theming kit, bringing almost every manufacturs launcher themes to this device, debloated(seperate bloat installer), but since i dont know much about the device i would like some feature request everyone would like to see on the note 3, development will commence as soon as i get feedback.

Rom Super WizCyan V.5

Hello there. How can I adapt the Grxtouchwizhome V.05 interface in the rom super wizciyan V.5 S8 / N8 / S7 theme rom I used for s4 19515 to the new roms prepared for S7. If work is done on this subject, a very nice rum will be created. The scrolling movements on the screen are quite functional in grxtouchwizhomeda. I also use s4 fondly. I expect experienced friends to do a good work. The video tutorial to explain how to do it will also help us improve ourselves. I thank you all.
