Good day to all, i think this is my firs or second post on this fabulous site, the problems i'm having are two...
First of all, my device is a Samsung Galaxy TAB 3 7.0 inch, SM-T210R, i have a custom rom installed KidzRom by Gr8nole from this forum http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2548241
my main problem is that before the custom ROm instalation i had a samsung app like a notepad with a sticky layout called tmemo By default came in the tablets original rom), i found the app going to the rockettab 3.1 forum and downloaded it, now after instalation it forces close, my cuestion is why is it force closing?. according to the kids rom forum the ROM is the original firmware just ported to the T210R platform, i blame the kernel but don't know.
The other but not so important after i rooted my phone i don't see the samsung boot animation come up, i only see a black screen and i hear the sound but no samsung logo with the blue light circling aroud it like before, tried installing a lot of different boot animations for that tables from around XDA web page and none of them work, still hear sound but no animation.... Could this be a same ssue with the kernel...
I'm new on this, so if you could gide me in the right way for both problems or at least the first one i would really appreciate it.

they have a grey semi transparent one and some how it looks like higher resolution and cleaner pic, every thing is stock here, and since i don't have market i strugle to get an app, but i downloaded a vending.apk file and i have the market too bad i have the starting download stuck bugg ( didn't fix it yet )
i was wondering if someone could tell me how to pimp my Samsung galaxy s i9000 ( international )
to get all these cool looking things and cool looking phone with the nice lock screen and big digital . thx in advance btw iam new to android mobiles and samsung galaxy s is my first mobile

I think what you're looking for with the Homescreen is LauncherPro or the like, a homescreen replacement. It's free on the market, but seeing as you're having issues with the market you may be able to get the .apk from the dev? Not sure.
i got the apk file, but when i download an app it gets stuck at starting download any idea ?
OK, I am not a big fan of the new Froyo version of the Samsung keyboard, and I really had gotten used to it. Is there anyway of going back to that keyboard?

So I went and downloaded the jf6 firmware. I went and extracted the Samsung Keyboard and the related files
/app/data/AxT9IME.apk
/app/data/AxT9IME.odex
/app/lib/libdhwr.so
/app/lib/libXT9core.so
I put them in the respected folders, and the keyboard wasn't listed.
I like the older keyboard better, the layout is different, and the so are the options.
If anyone can help me with this, I would be extremely greatful!!

i recently rooted my phone but i didnt install new rom on it and it has the orginal one
some day i wanted to change font of my android phone i didnt know know how how to do this then i installed the font changer.apk which required rooted access so i intalled it but the size of pages was too small then i installed font size.apk to fix it but it changed the sort of my app pages. befor i change my font each page had 10 app for example after i change fonts size the sort of app page changed there is a line between app menu when i change pages and some apps are shown twice. one in first page second in next page its not big deal the bigest problem is when i touch camera icon the screen goes to black and suddenly it doesnt open it and it goes back to main menu i found some solution for it some people said i should reboot my phone to fix it but sometimes it doesnt work i figure out new way : i installed app killer when i kill apps two or 3 times camera problem will be alright my question is what happened to my phone when i changed font my phone and camera used to work good before but now camera doesn't work sometimes and how can i fix the problem of app sorting in menu i mean that black line which separate pages is in the middle of page how can i fix it again
the last question is should i install new Rom on my rooted device my phone's Rom is the original one i didn't install costume Rom i know i cant update this Rom to android 2.3.5 but how can i find the best sens version of those Rom there are bunch of Roms in ur site and i couldn't find the best one each of rom threads has more than 500 pages i have no time to read those pages which Rom is good for me??? i don't know about the deference between those rom this is my first time which i am using android phone and i dont want to screw it up so i want to use the best one and i should say a little thing which is: when i changed the font of my phone i didn't back up the previous one and i think when i used font size it changed the sort of app menu please help. sorry about this long thread i wanted to clear it out to get the best respond please tell me if i should answer to any question like android version or etc. my phone version is 2.3.4 sense version 3.0 software num: 1.45.41....

I'm looking for a default Live Wallpaper which existed on older android phones (such as the Samsung Galaxy S1, I believe) to use on my HTC One (M7).
Its title/description was: "Galaxy: A galaxy made of slowly swirling stars"
The Wallpaper consisted of a little white dots (symbolizing stars, obviously) revolving around a 'black hole' on a black background. When you switched homescreens, the camera perspective of the galaxy would shift slightly with each transition (the main attractive feature of this particular galaxy wallpaper for me).
I've found no videos of it activated, closest was one where it was simply listed in the options. I can't share the link since I'm a new user, but the title is "Samsung Galaxy S live wallpapers on Nexus One".
After searching various forums, the closest I came was one Wallpaper which is very close to the original, but it has no transition animations and is a bit too far zoomed out. It apparently came from a custom ROM. Again, can't share the link, but it was on androidforums and was downloadable as "galaxy4.apk"
Does anyone have any idea as to where I can find this old default wallpaper online?
Otherwise, would I be able to request someone to extract from their device, if it has it of course, and compile it so that I and anyone else with the same request can use it on their devices?

I've got a Huawei UM840 Known in my country as "Huawei Evolution 1", it is a very old and low-spec phone could only run Android 2.3.7 Gingerbread. I installed it with the CyanogenMod7, the rom and the installation guide was on a Venezuelan forum.
I've got to say the rom runs pretty smoothly and it doesnt lags (considering this phone stock rom is Eclair2.1 upgradeable to Froyo2.2 officially) so i am very happy with 2.3.7.
Everything was going fine with the phone and the rom but i have seen a problem with the notifications bar, specially when i slide it down, the notification letters show in dark as the background of the "sliding dock" so it is very hard to read what says unless i pass the finger trough it.
I Took screenshots for better understanding of my problem:
