[Q] Howto install Original Firmware from ViperOneS

Hello Guys,
i installed the ViperOneS_v1.2.1 with ICS 4.0.4 and I'm not that happy than i should be with it ...
Anyway, for some reason i cannot install the Original Firmware from Vodafone:
"RUU_Ville_U_Vodafone_CH-DE_1.78.166.2_Radio_0.16.31501S.17_2_10.23.31501S.10L_release_258383_signed.exe"
Its the 155 failure which means i think the "hboot" version. I have 2.15.0000 installed but i dont know how to downgrade my version and which version i should install.
Sorry for my bad english...
Any Ideas?

How to flash a tar.gz file from HTC?
HTC but it is a tar.gz file, pyramid-ics-crc-3.0.16-c764bfb.tar.gz. Is there any way that I can flash it on my phone from bootloader (fastboot).

For those searching for RUU 1.29.401.16 here it is, I've made a pack using RUU executable from Cingular using the rom.zip of 1.29.401.16, all you have to do is:
S-Off Needed;
If possible backup 1st;
1. Download it;
2. Extract it;
3. Execute ARUWizard.exe;
4. Follow instructions;
Nice flashes
DOWNLOAD: Here (depositfiles)

Nop..., connected via USB with debug mode enabled, but i think it works with fastboot too

If I use this will I get the 4.2.2 update I'm soff?

I Think so, it depends on your CID but sonner or later you will get it, in Europe I think by now all devices CID you'll get it

I'm not the right person to talk about it, because I bought HTC ONE and in the same day updated to 4.2.2, so my only experience is 4.2.2.

The latest RUU is that of ICS.
Once you are on stock ICS, receive the OTA update to acquire Jellybean with all the latest firmware. Make a backup of that ICS and Jellybean ROMs too. Helpful nowadays.

Don't use that RUU if you aren't from the UK though, as it is UK carrier branded.

I am from the uk, i have unlocked my phone using a code the other month so im open to all networks. I just can't fully complete the RUU? Any ideas in what i can do?

The radio is lower in the RUU. Don't know if the bootloader is lower or not which actually matters.
Does it show any DOWNGRADE NOT ALLOWED error or just 155?

I installed At&t Ruu on My Phone That s-off & Super cid. :cyclops:
Now I want know : Can I install Sense 6 OTA For Europe On My Device ?

In order to install ota you must have 3.10.401.6 ruu , once ruu is completed then use stock recovery ti flash sense 6 OTA then after that you can HTC dev and s-off and supercid
