Background GooPhone i5 LTE or Thunderbird i5 LTE - I bought this phone and my phone stopped working when i flashed a wrong ROM thinking this was Goophone i5, but it wasn't i tried many ROMs available and got no support from no where, finally someone helped me and gave her stock ROM to me which i was able to later modify and compile, and now sharing the ROM with you, I hope you like it.

- Open the SP Flash Tool

- Load the scatter file from the ROM Folder
- Press F9 (Download Mode) or Firmware Download Mode
- Plug your phone through USB with it powered off
- Wait until the bars progress end and.
- When it finishes a green popup will appear.
And that's it! You have now installed the rom on it!
Partition you SD Card To Acquire more "Internal Memory"
Some people have 127MB internal memory, who ever wants to increase internal space by partitioning sd card

This information was taken out directly from MTKdroid tools while phone was connected.
and yes, I have MT6577 and this phone from efit (which is known as thunderbird i5 lte) i can see performance difference.
I also checked with Antutu
This phone has MT6575, I've read in other forums it confirms this information.

Hi Junior. I'm having the same problem its appears the same error (s_brom_CMD_startcmd_fail 2005). I have the same device Thunderbird i5. Have you been able to solve? My route can not. If you have the solution and can help, thank you.

Touchscreen Faulty
Hello i have just flashed this rom into my thunderbird i5 LTE and it works just now my screen the touch part is gone all wrong so from the top its normal untill you get to the middle and then it starts to come from the bottom and thi is if i slide straight down as well i cant use my phone any more any help its a real pain!
I know this because the app Mobileuncle tools shows me this in the handwriting/multitouch tests please help!!

How do you know if your phone is compliant with this rom? I was told my phone was a zophone but zophone roms are not loading on to it. It looks like it may be a zophone clone. I know that the ROM currently on it is ALPS.ICS2.MP.v1.19

MP AGUA RIO is now alive and kicking! :victory: SOLVED!
I flashed the Stock Recovery for S5500 you just gave/recommended...then the phone boot looped up to the LOGO...
Then I followed Sir Edmhar Laoag's Video Tutorial in YouTube (wwwDOTyoutubeDOTcom/watch?v=QAPFfsBNoNQ)
Kudos to all of you and also to Sir [email protected], who promptly answered my queries, enlightened me and gave recommendations on how to solve the problem!

Issue with FFCam and MCam
Hi Guys.
Quick question regarding MyPhone Agua Rio MIUI v5 4.4.18 for S5501 Model Only. I flashed this ROM to my MPA RIO and I'm now facing issues with my phone's front facing camera and main camera.
FF Cam - I can no longer access this as the button to tap vanishes as soon as the camera app loads.
Main Cam - The preview is upside down. When the I take photos, it is also upside down.
Anyone here that experienced the same issues? Desperate for a fix.

Do this in your ported rom
Open this file - mtk-kpd.kl - which is in folder system\usr\keylayout, using notepad++
you will see a line like this "key 102 HOME" press tab 3 times after HOME (to line up with second column) and write WAKE.
Save, exit, zip and flash, pressing home button will wake the phone.

You could upload your Rom, so people can compare to theirs.
At least post build.prop.
Btw 5mpx camera? Which sensors? Use droid Info from market.

Increasing /system space in MTK 6577

Can anyone share a simple guide as to how we can increase /system space - not internal storage space - in MTK 6577 based phone. I have been searching for this , have browsed through all the existing guides but not able to get a fix on this.

but i managed to get out of it.
for this i want to know how u ported the rom.
if u ported with kitchen then u can sole the problem by
1 .go to legacy option
2.now go to 22.option that is add wireless tethering
3. then chose n
4.then enter

Battery time seems to have definitely increased,
Have seen increases in idle time,
The battery consuming location services problem seems to be resolved,
Also battery consumption due to searching networks during travelling seems to have decreased a lot. Earlier 8% to 10% over a 1 1/2 hours period now 2% over the same period.
Also keeping idle with 3g and sync on uses less battery.
Tried reading a book over a 2 hours period with 3g and audio player on only took 6% of my battery.
Dont know representative my tab is Have close to 130 + user installed apps, with 12 accounts synced so, yup battery life has significantly increased.

Im facing problems connecting to odin in download mode despite having proper drivers. Anyone else facing this problem too? T311 4.4.2 indian build.

no Kitkat update for my italian t311 yet ....I hope samsung will release it as soon as possible....I cannot wait anymore

You can install Indian version T311XXUBNH6 with Odin on top of Italian version without problem and you don't need to do anything after for preserve settings and language. If you want to return rooted apply a recovery with Odin and then install supersu. Follow instruction like I did in XDA forum. Non problem and no headaches. :highfive:

Did you manage to root ur device on kitkat? If yes how? I cant flash a custom recovery on it !

I have searched and tried everything! Ill try CF auto root today!
Custom Recovery just doesnt flash on my tab running 4.4.2 and idk why! It isnt a driver problem for sure!

CF auto root worked like a charm! Now i have to try flashing custom recoveries!if it doesnt work using odin maybe mobile odin will help!

I have not tried flashing a custom recovery yet.. I'm enjoying stock rom with xposed Framework.. I feel it has more functionality than cm considering that I can use multi window with any app..

I also ported CarlivTouchRecovery v2.7 for the Archos 50 neon only not 50b,50c or 45

-Instructions:
1-Root your device. (for me i used this tutorial)
2-Install CTR Recovery (Use Flashify to flash the recovery.img or this tutorial(but fastboot doesnt work on my Archos))
3-Backup your current ROM using CTR or the original factory stock rom can be found here.
4-Download the ROM.
5-Copy miui_4.8.29_a50ne_4.2.2JB_Mar974.zip to your SD card.
6-Turn Off your device.
7-Boot to CTR using Volume down + power button combo.
8-Wipe Menu > Wipe Data - Factory Reset > Wipe Cache > Wipe Dalvik Cache .
9-Select "Install zip from SD card" select the ROM .zip, have a cup of coffee or whatever and wait for it to finish (play minecraft ... no it's a joke :laugh.
10-Reboot & set-up MIUI.
11-Flash Gapps like step 9.
11-Reboot and enjoy.

Hello guys! I have a problema with my 50 Neon device. I have bricked it with a bad rom flashing. I am trying to find the stock firmware to be installed with sp flashtool instead of recovery. My computer detect it as modem so i think i can flash it with this tool. But the room on the Archos web is only to be flashed via recovery.
Coudl you give me a hand? I am desesperated.

Hello try to flash CWM with MTK droid tool folowing this tutorial : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lEFcsQ8gC1E using the boot.img from the stock rom zip from Archos.
and you can flash the boot.img and recovery.img with sp flash tool : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0R36ssKt6V4 using the stock rom from archos.
and What is your OS ? i know that they are some problem with windows 8 or 10 better use windows 7

Thank you and all people involved with it for developing a custom rom for archos 50 neon. I flashed your custom rom after i accidentally kind of killed my android (dont ask why, its a stupid reason). It works really fine
I am happy with it. It has some function I always wanted to have on my phone, but couldnt and admired other phones for that.
A question : In the changelog you wrote that you fixed some 1 GB RAM problem, that it showed 515 MB RAM. What is that about ? I didnt really understand what you mean with that. My Phone shows 515 MB

One more question. I observed that when I signed into my Gmail account with this archos 50neon, Gmail sent me a security message saying that I an ACER ICONIA just signed in to tat account . What can you say about that ? I HD be been thinking about the compatibility of Acer iconia ROM on this archos 50neon.

I will try to port more ROMS maybe later but still in 4.2.2 because the bootloader 4.2.2 is not compatible with 4.4.4 or later and Archos will not devellop any new rom for this phone
The Acer iconia use the same SoC so google maybe mess up or the ROM i port come from an acer iconia didn't know cause i find a working ROM that i can port from here : http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/development/rom-innjoo-i1-t2988125

there are any problem if you don"t flash gapps you will just not have the playstore thats all

I didn't know if this will work but you can try it at your own risk but flashify will flash CTR easily for you if you are rooted

Hello, i am having Archos 50 Diamond (gsmarena.com/archos_50_diamond-7042.php) with stock Android 4.4.4. Shoul i try to install this ROM. Am i risking my current (stock) recovery can be made not working? (i do not understand Android workings)
Or only risk is that i would have to install again the stock firmware using my stock recovery mode (Service menu)?
My touch screen is not reacting on touch and my aim is to connected USB hub with mouse and keyboard. Do you see the way for me please?
