4 Must have Android Apps - Android General

Hi guys, there are four Android apps that I would like to recommend to you!
Spotify: Spotify maybe the most popular music streaming services in the past several years. With enormous number of songs, this app enable users not only listen to the songs they like, but also create their own playlist of their favorite songs. In addition, users could also get updated album reviews from large music publications, such as Rolling Stone. As a result, this could improve the customer satisfaction about this app, which makes this app so popular in the market.
Flipboard: Flipboard is my favorite news reading app in Google Play market. With millions of users around the world, Flipboard is probably one of the most popular apps in recent years. I love this app, because it provides a personalized miniature magazine out of everything that I am interested. In addition, I can also create magazines and add more content from websites to my Flipboard, which is quite interesting. Moreover, adding and deleting items on Filpboard are quite easy and I can also share my magazine with my friends on Twitter or Facebook .All these functions make this app stand out from ordinary news reading apps.
MoWeather: MoWeather is the app of the year in my Galaxy S3. MoWeather is both pretty and functional. The app background is not only beautiful but also animated, which I believe is much better than Yahoo Weather. The 15-day-forecast could help people plan their holidays or business traveling a lot easier. In addition, the real-time photos shared by people around the world could also provide timely weather condition in those places. As a result, this has changed the way that people using a weather app, which makes this app more popular.
Evernote: I use Evernote to synchronize notes of all kinds, such as voice memos, pictures and PDF files. The app is amazing, all the notes are not only accessible from Evernote applications and website, but also highly searchable and tagable. The new version of Evernote improved the navigation function of this app, which enables app users to access recent notes, tags, and shortcuts quickly. I will refer to Evernote, every time when I want to take a note or search for documents that I need. I put Evernote in my dock and it has become one of the most popular apps in my Galaxy S3.
How do you guys think those apps, looking forward to your comments!

What's the point in suggesting 3 very popular apps and a non popular weather app?

Unless the Developer themselves has posted the .apk somewhere, i would really really suggest against pirating this (or any other) android app.
Thank you, I edited original post.

Couldn't agree more. You're saying this app is worthy to be called a "MUST HAVE app for android" but not worth paying $5.00 for? If it's truly that valuable to you then show the dev some love/support and buy it/don't distribute it.
Music mod is hands-down the best music player I've used on my n1

Never heard of it.
I searched on Market for it, and it looks very similar to what Cyanogen provides in his ROMs.

[Q] [Android] Best Agenda/Organize/todo-list/Journal/bookmark app

I've always been a confused, badly organized guy, and my head is one big chaotic mess. Since I wont carry a paper agenda all the time, I've recently bought a smartphone (SGS2), mainly to keep things organized and structured.
The problem is, for each task there's a different app. Now I've got a zillion apps, and I wonder if that's the best way to structure/organize things.
I currently use on my android phone:
- Jorte Calender synched with Google Calender.
- Dropbox to sync files between different platforms
- Evernote for my journal/notes/to-do list.
- QuickPic to view my pictures (normal pictures and pictures of paper documents) and video's.
- Opera is my main browser and I use the build-in bookmarker. The bookmarks are synched between my phone and my pc.
- Build in sms/contact Touchwiz app for my contacts
- Gmail app for my mail and mail addresses.
- etc
I want to reduce the number of apps to get things done easier and faster. You guys know any all-in-one apps that are capable of many of the listed tasks? Or could you explain how you structure things?
EDIT: Sometimes I don't even know what app I should use for certain things.
For example: I'd like to make a list with my favorite movies. Should I do this with evernote?
Or: I've got something scheduled and used my calender app for that, but I also need to make a few notes about that appointment. Do I use my calendar, or a notebook app like evernote?
Thanks in advance.
Jochem
What do you guys suggest?
I would just use evernote for everything! Why do you make such a mess with apps? Just get used to ONE app, and you should be fine
There is as of now, no "multi-app" that can do ALL of your tasks. Unfortunatly, I think you'll have to use the apps the way you already are. Unless you want to root your phone, and install a custom ROM that has some sort of "multi-app"

[Q] App for sharing task / to-do lists with another person?

I have been looking for a simple task / to-do list app that will let me share lists with other people, so that we can both edit and sync the same list. My partner and I both have smartphones and want to share shopping lists etc. I have tried a few apps, but always run into problems it seems. For instance:
GTasks - constantly recreated and duplicated items on the list that one person had checked off. Even if only one person made changes to the list and the other only synced to those changes, the app still made lots of errors. A limitation of Google task API maybe?
Astrid - to be fair, I haven't tried sharing a task list with my partner yet, but that's because Astrid can't even keep my own task lists straight without randomly adding or removing tasks. The "Astrid.com" sync in particular seems terribly buggy. The app is hopeless.
Is anyone successfully using an app to share lists between people and not getting this kind of random rubbish and list corruption? Seems like a simple and easy thing to want to do!
I haven't tried this but it claims to do what you want.

I was sceptical when I saw the link, but this app is actually rather good. It is very much shopping-oriented, but you can use it for regular to-do lists as well. And the syncing so far seems to be working well. Hooray!
The best app for document sharing that I find useful is Google Docs. Docs pretty much integrates all your systems and can be shared with different groups. I also found that Evernote is a good app for this. However, I have not yet used Evernote on an Android based phone. Only with Windows and Apple based phones.

Google Docs and Evernote are both fine programs, but neither works without an always-on data connection, and I don't have one (Evernote Premium does I believe, but I don't want to pay for an app before I can test that it does what I want). Guess I should have mentioned that in my first post

Looking for a shared TODO list app

Hi everyone.
I wanted to ask if anyone can recommend a TODO list app which can be shared between different friends.
I'm not sure if such an app exists, but it should meet all of the following:
Can create todo lists
Can easily remove finished tasks
Can share the list between users with the same app
Other users can also edit the task items
Optionally, a notification when a new task has been added/modified would be great. And, obviously, free apps are always preferred.
Any app that does all of that?
Thanks!
Have u tried astrid?
Sent from my MB525 using xda premium
I used it for a while, but never with collaboratively. Eventually uninstalled it because I started getting notification spam and astrid emails, and got tired of it.
try trollo
Catch.com has recently added sharing and checklist.

Hi..
Following are my sugessions. Please check them out.
Milk - the app works like a regular to-do list -- you add tasks and then you can mark them complete. You can even set priorities. There's no leaving the list at the office or at home since you can check it on any device.
Astrid - Astrid works in the same way with synced to-dos and the ability to make different lists. However, Astrid has a much cleaner web interface. It looks like it was heavily influenced by Twitter's website design. The mobile versions are also nicely designed and easy to use.
Wunderlist - I prefer standalone desktop apps to websites sometimes, and Wunderlist is the only one of the services that offers downloadable Mac and PC versions. Wunderlist beats the others on design. The design of all of its apps -- for the Mac and PC, Web, Android, and iPhone -- are very clean and you can even change the background of the interface on them.
Thanks
My girlfriend and I use Cozi.
I has to do lists, shopping lists, calendars.....pretty much everything and syncs up as well.
Access on any device.
