Hello xda members,
I applied a protector screen on my HTC Desire HD but failed, lots of air bubbles etc. so I decided to remove it. After removal, the screen got somehow sticky. The scrolling is not smooth and I m not able to glide freely as I used to before it ...
My fingers keep getting opposed by this and no smooth scrolling at all :S
Any idea how can I remove this stickiness and get this smoothness back?!
Thanks for your help in advance.
Best regards.
Try rubbing alcohol

I tried rubbing alcohol once but found it more effective to drink it
When i had the same problem with my old Omnia, i just kept rubbing the screen with kitchen towel until it was adhesive free. If you have a glass screen you'll have no problems using glass cleaner or the like.
Anyone have bubbles on their crespo screen protector? I have mine in top and bottom and the very beginning of the screen. Is it due to the curvature of the screen?

They usually disappear in a few days if you have just installed the screen protector.

not if you are a pro screen protector installer like me .. there must be dust particles in those bubbles you are seeing. they won't automatically disappear. best is take off the screen protector, clean the phone surface, and apply new screen protector. be sure to apply in a clean place with lots of sunlight so you can see any dust particles.

I want to know if I can install a screen protector this way.
I have the wet installation fluid and would use that to moisten the dry install screen protector.
Thanks.
I carnt see why not ' but with every custom application there is a risk of damage , i put one on my iphone and all went fine

Have a light scratch on my screen. Can't feel it with a finger but can see it.
What can I use to minimize it / buff it?
Was thinking about buffing it with car wax, then thought about tring to use car clear coat scratch remover.... thoughts?

I've heard that people can use toothpaste to remove scratches before you can give it a try

You can buy glass scratch removal kits off the internet but I'm not sure how they would work on a screen or even if they would damage it more
Dunno about the scratch removal kit, but people said toothpaste makes it worse.
From what people say in the iPad forums, the only way to remove scratches in the oleophobic coating is to remove the whole thing by buffing it out. You can't just do the scratch or it becomes obvious when the screen is on that you've buffed out a section of coating....
Everybody says to just use a screen protector (for light scratches), remove the coating entirely, replace the screen, or send it in to apple, who will 're coat the screen.

My lens of my galazy s2 is scratched... How can i recover it?

Do you mean the camera lens or the screen glass ? (I've heard the latter called a lens glass, too)
Either way, you can replace the part if you want to - replacing the screen is trickier than the camera lens and you should watch some videos and decide if you're comfortable tackling it yourself or if you would rather pay someone else to do it.
Just the lens of the camera
