[Q] PLESE HELP REMOVE CWM! on hisense tablet - General Questions and Answers

Okay, I have CWM on this HISENSE Sero 7 lite tablet. My nephew knew nothing of what he was doing and attempted putting it on here hoping it would bring it back to factory settings, which he was trying to put the tablet to where it would actually boot up. This tablet was only used for TWO days before it started showing the android guy with a red exclamation point on it. Now, the clockworkmod is on it, I want it removed (because I dont know a thing about it) so the factory reset can be done. The screen was reachable, but due to the install nothing can be done with it. I read that after the clockwork mod was installed there were seperate steps that had to be made to it for it to be functional. As far as I know it was only installed. I would REALLY appreciate some help on getting this tablet back in working order. It can't hook up to my computer, everything is having to be done from external sd card. I also keep getting some error about sd-ext is not found. Any help would be appreciated.

[Q] lg55c(ST Optimus Q) seemingly bricked

If I am unable to enable USB debugging, am I pretty well S-O-L? I can get my phone to boot to android recovery utility, but because I did a factory reset, usb debugging is disabled. I cannot seem to get a custom recovery installed. My friend said that I should be able to download a custom recovery and install it from a zip from the recovery menu; is this possible? I am getting really frustrated because I cannot get my phone up and running again, any help would be greatly appreciated.
Backstory:
I rooted my phone with no problems, started messing around with my build.prop to try to run a gameloft game. I made a back up of my original build.prop and stored it on my sd card. I replaced my entire build.prop with one from another phone and rebooted but my phone shows lg logo(at the suggestion of the same friend who has been trying to help), I hear the tracfone sound as if it is booting up, but my screen just remains backlit with no images. I am able to get into android recovery utility as well as the so-called emergency mode. However I cannot get the phone up and running again.

[Q] Samsung Galaxy S CWM Application Question

Hello everyone,
I searched the forums for awhile but could not find a satifying answer for my question. So i am hoping you guys will have an answer for me.
First of all i would like to point out that i am not looking for an answer for how to unbrick the phone. There are several guides and hopefully when i get home i will be able to fix the problem. *Fingers crossed*
I did not have my Galaxy S for long. After getting it and installing KIES and updating my firmware the battery life what terrible so I rooted the phone and then installed Gingerbread 2.3.6 JVU. it worked like a charm.
Yesterday when I was playing with the CWM application, I decided that i was going to back up the phone and backed it up using the application. This morning one of my programs was acting weird and I decided to restore the backup I have done yesterday.
Upon going into applications and CWM, I chose the restore option and started the process. Everything was going smoothly, the phone was plugged in to the charger as well.
When the phone rebooted after the initial process I am stuck at logo screen. i can go into download mode (That is why I am hoping that I will be able to unbrick it) however that is as far as the phone goes. When I try to go into CWM Recovery mode, I am once again welcomed by the phone getting stuck at logo screen.
Does anyone have any idea as to why this might have happened? To avoid future problems is there any extra steps I should have taken before using the CWM restore function?
Thanks for the help.

Maybe your backup was corrupted somehow. You could have tried wiping the dalvik cache after restoring your backup (before rebooting), but its too late now. Since you can get into download mode, you can easily fix the problem (your device is just soft bricked - nothing to worry too much about).

The phone rebooted automatically. Did not give me the chance to do anything beforehand.
As you said the phone was soft bricked so when i got home that day i just fixed it. No problem. However I am really really into getting to find out how a 1 day old back up can get corrupted.

[Q] How to TWRP backup with YDSS.CN?

Newbie here.
My bro in law bought a lenovo s920 for my nephew and it is rooted (they don't even know what this actually means). The sd card would not show up but after faffing around with it I got it working somehow by restarting the phone. Anyway, thought I better back this thing up just in case it ever needed factory resetting and after hearing that you should not factory reset a rooted phone the usual way, I downloaded the TWRP app.
Problem here is, after following the procedure where I've checked what needs backing then slide the backup button and input a name for the saved file, the phone switches off and the next screen appears is in chinese with a ydss.cn logo. (I've attached photos).
Here is where I don't know which selection to make. First time I tried I just picked the first one and this just restarts the phone, but I don't think the backup is successful because I can't find the TWRP folder anywhere.
Anyone has any idea what the procedure is with this ydss.cn?
I've never rooted a phone before and just wanted to back this up so I can just restore it easily.
Any advice would be most appreciated

Bricked Tablet

I rooted and flashed cyanogen mod on my tablet, when i was updating it during the install it failed and now it will not load.
When the tablet loads I go through the ASUS screen and then am stuck on teamwin screen. When i try to wipe all data it gives me multiple red errors, unable to do many things. I cannot see the tablet through windows and my SD card slot stopped working, i have tried multiple micro sd cards and it still will not recognize then. (I will take a photo of the errors once the battery is charged, it is completely drained again)
I am not very tech savy but am wanting to recover this tablet for work and cannot afford to replace it at the moment but would appreciate any help I can get specific to my problem.
