Audio Mods
I just wanted to know if anyone has had issues with flashing audio mods on this rom. like if viper4android is compatible or causes instability. other than a daily driver audio mods are very important to me. this rom is amazing and I have had issues with roms and viper4android in the past on kitkat roms. I just want to be safe
:cyclops:
I have viper4android installed, no issues at all.

@Techinstein, can I dirty flash from AOKP v2.60 to this ROM or do I need to do a clean install? If I understand correctly, both ROMs are AOKP based, so I think it would be OK, just wanted to make sure.

You might be able to but just don't report any "bugs" that occur. I personally don't know why people dirty flash anything.

How does one remove the notifications from showing on the lockscreen? Great ROM by the way!

Yes as @timmaaa said if bugs occur when dirty flashing please try a full wipe and re flash be cause dirty flashing from switching different roms could cause bugs but dirty flashing from the same rom to its update is fine.
@oranget thanks glad you like it!
@cbasse thanks also the lockscreen like completely remove notifications? you can disable notifications for certain apps by going into settings-->apps --> tap the app/apps you want --> uncheck notifcations
@Phreshlatinstyle try downloading and flashing the SU by Chainfire google chainfire su xda and you should see it. Download and flash that. Then install Viper4Android audio and it will work. Most kitkat roms need this for some reason
Dang techinstein..you are a mad wizard with these roms. Been missing the ice cold version since my days with my old inspire HD..glad to see you revived it! It has been working flawlessly.. Awesome job!

The only problem with that is that it will remove notifications from that app altogether, not just from the lockscreen.

Thanks for the info timmaaa, Techinstein. I don't know about you, but I find backing up and restoring all my apps and app data to be a major pain. Correct me if I'm wrong, but if it can be avoided, it's unnecessary wear and tear on the /data partition.
I understand the need for full wipes, I'm just saying I prefer to avoid them when possible, save some time.
My phone under battery stats is showing the phone awake constantly. Never sleeps on kk ROMs. Is this a known problem?

That's what I was thinking as well. I'm hoping to just turn off the lockscreen notifications. With so many options, I'm guessing the option to do so might be there...somewhere. I'll keep looking!

No, I've never touched the Daydream settings, and just to be sure i went and disabled it and, sure enough, it's still there. Here's what I'm talking about - the two notifications middle right. Kinda looks like Halo, but that's turned off as well...

This ROM is out of date and no longer supported.
The old OP can still be found by clicking below:
CM10+PA+AOPK=ParanoidKangDroid V1.40 *STABLE*MOST CUSTOMIZABLE JB 4.1.2 ROM(12.03.12)
This really isn't ParanoidAndroid, AOKP, or CyanogenMod anymore. When you put them all together you have something totally new. With this ROM you can do interesting things like having new rows of toggles and many other things that you'll have to find on your own. However keep in mind that on some occasions different settings can cause conflicts with others considering they're not supposed to be together in the first place, so just be smart about what you do.
This Rom is Stable 4.1.2 & the customization is endless to create the L00K you like!

PARANOID TABLET MODE WORKS 100%
If you have an issue and you want to call my attention, here's what you do:
1. Try everything you can, find solutions for yourself. Wipe caches, revert all your settings you have made, go back to your stock Kernel, factory reset if you have to or reflash the rom. Assume that the issue is on your side and try your best to isolate it.
2. Search this thread, Cyanogenmod's, ParanoidAndroid's, and AOKP's as well for possible reoccurences of your issue and hopefully solutions that may have come up.
3. If you think the issue is important enough that we should cease our work and look into it, post your issue, BUT ...
... stay friendly, do not demand anything, do not threaten
... explain your issue as precise as you can, name the exact apps and conditions that cause trouble, help us to replicate the issue right away. If we can't there's no way we can fix it and your post will simply clutter the thread
... collect evidence, keep in mind this is a developer thread so even if you are not one, do us the favor and research how to record logcat. logcat is the single most important help you can give us to resolve your issue.
Edit: Now that the OP is mine, I removed the red because it was annoying the **** out of me.
If you want anything added to this such as any 4.2 features, please feel free to PM me.
I will keep up on this thread and keep this as up to date as I possibly can.
If something doesn't work, tell me and I'll fix it.
You may need to pull your battery and turn your device back on after setting a different interface mode such as 'Tablet'. We are looking into a possible fix for this.
Wow, neat! I know there are other roms like Pacman and King Kang that are mashups of PA, CM, and AOKP, does this ROM have something different? Nothin' like a new rom in the forums! Thanks!

This ROM has a lot of customization. Also, to get tablet mode you just set the settings under paranoid just like you would an actual paranoid android rom!
There's no need to go into settings and 'Force Tablet UI'

fyi, if you go into camera and zoom and then click a picture it locks up... till you reboot your phone... so no for me 4.2 isn't working exactly right.
After installing with 4.2gapps, and setting everything up I rebooted and now it hangs on the paranoikangdroid splash screen. Battery pull did not help.
Everything installed fine and it's up and running. Problem with Dolphin Browser, though. Even after uninstalling and reinstalling, it will open then close right away - not a FC, but just close.

No complaints of echo. Is it just one person that said that? Or is it with every call?
Overall, I'm really loving the looks of this ROM, but there are two visual issues that are really annoying: The first, in the below image, is the icon to resize the screen zoom(between the clock and the wifi signal).

Is there any way to hide that?
The second is in the notification menu, there's the text, "Roaming Indicator Off". Is there some way to turn the roaming indicator on or otherwise get rid of it?

Not force closing. Just opening up (screen goes white as app loads), then closes (disappears) right away. No dialogue box, nothing. I've uninstalled and reinstalled several times, both Dolphin Browser and the Jetpack that goes with it. Chrome, Browser, etc work fine.
Here's a logcat.

That was like the one big thing that made me go back to TW based Roms was the camera volume thing. I got two little kids, gotta capture the moments. Thank you for reassuring me!! Really appreciate it Downloading now!!
Another question: I don't use bluetooth much at all but I DO use NFC to transfer pics I take with my phone to my tablet & my wife's phone. Does NFC function ok on this Rom?

If you're using a 4.2.2 Rom installation should be easy. If you're updated to a new recovery for 4.3, there is no reason to downgrade or go back to the older recovery. @berniesteven and I installed from the newer TWRP 2.6.0.3
1. reboot into recovery and make a backup
2. wipe cachce & dalvik-cache
3. if coming from another rom format system & data
4. Install, reboot, and enjoy.

This ROM is slick. I know that the 4.3 craze is cracking for the SR right now, but this is definitely worth it. I drove it for a few days and never ran into anything except the Bluetooth issue. Can perform with all the other 4.2.2 ROMs. Give this first offering a shot. Again, good job bro!. I'll test whatever you got in the future.

While SlimKAT/SlimSaber builds do work flashing over each other they usually work better with a clean install...
SlimSaber Builds:
SlimSaber Build 8.9
https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B4k5OpXTXcS9UHh4SGxFZUd1cnM/view?usp=sharing
Please backup Novalauncher before installing this build. Novalauncher will be deleted. However SlimLauncher hasnt been added yet (missed the add launcher commit before build.
SlimSaber Build 8.0
https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B4k5OpXTXcS9ZUtfZGRsdFcwVE0/edit?usp=sharing
SlimKAT builds
Build 8.8
https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B4k5OpXTXcS9TUlva0wyTVQwZ1k/view?usp=sharing
Please backup Novalauncher before installing this build. This comes with SlimLauncher by default and I believe it will delete Novalauncher.
Build 8.6
https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B4k5OpXTXcS9aS1xdVZLcEU1VVE/view?usp=sharing
with Casting Fix
Build 7.8
https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B4k5OpXTXcS9WWZOQ0VRMGFwWlU/edit?usp=sharing
(Includes use home button to answer phone calls (If option "Incoming call in background" is disabled.)
Build 7.6
https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B4k5OpXTXcS9d1J4a0pGc1lEY2M/edit?usp=sharing
Build 7.2.1
https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B4k5OpXTXcS9aE9KeUlRRVB0TFk/edit?usp=sharing

Also in case you dont know slimroms.net has the latest Gapps as well for 1.6. In the section downloads/addons for 4.4
Nice ROM. One question and issue. What kernel are people running on this? I ask because my only criticism it's that the screen Calibration is way way out. The sharpening is over the top. If I am not mistaken you can change that with kernel. Correct? I am a photographer so a good screen is really important to me. Cheers in advance.

Does it have the error where whatsapp and titanium backup doesn't work?

I run the default kernel. I dont know of any kernels available for our device for KK4.4 or 4.2-4.3 for that matter that allows screen calibration. The only kernel I know of that allowed for full customization was Perseus kernel but that was only for the official Samsung 4.1 rom... not 4.2 or 4.3 or 4.4. Your only hope maybe AGNI kernel or yank555 but I dont think either of them allow this option...
There is no Kernel available at the Moment. I think that Yank will give us one, when Time is right.
Btw: Screen is fine for me. Also Battery, getting 0.6%/h in DeepSleep, running it with Sync and wifi all time. Really nice Job

Any colleague may help how to change the DPI value in new beta version on 28-Nov-2013?
Many thanks.

Yank uses Aroma installer, and with the new modified TWRP it doesn't work. If there are no issues with CWM maybe that will work. ? I hope there soon will be an official TWRP for kitkat for i9305.

About PA Gapps, where can i find ?
zmuda, please, and it's no offense, but can you please read the Threads and Opening Posts? All across the i9305-Section I read your Questions and the Answers are still there.
Link to PA Gapps are in Omni-Rom-OP f.ex. or just google it.

Sorry, on the first post i read:
"Not all gapps packages right now are working. Please be careful when testing"
This is why I asked the question.

Hmm.. I've got the same with all 4.4 ROMS.
I haven't checked it, but I "smell" sthg wrong with RADIO.
If U find "unknown" radio as well, it might be a problem with missing radio firmware. Maybe we should flash RADIO instead of the 4.4 ROM?

Pretty sure it means make sure you're using the most recent stable recovery. Check with twrp or cwm before flashing. Sometimes outdated versions give off errors and can't flash.

Finally got this installed and it is a very nice ROM IMHO. Very much stock aosp there isn't a ton of feature like some of the other aosp ROMs but I really like the smoothness this ROM has to offer and everything works only bug I have is the speaker phone bug is present when in a call if I put on speaker phone I have to reboot to even get back in the dialer app.

Here are the logcats I promised from G+. This is on a clean flash, barebones. Nothing other then TItanium Backup, the loggers, and my favorite file manager added.
Logcat0 is the first time opening PA OTA. It times out and gives ROM not found error, then update not found error.
Logcat1 is the second time opening it, but this time it sees I could use the gapps. It does allow to download as well, yesterday it wouldn't. May have been my location at work (edit: see data issue below).
Logcat2 is me calling the phone, answering and checking all is well. Then I switch to speaker phone and all seems well. Then switch back to and it stays on speaker with no microphone action. I hang up, close the app. Reopen the dialer and its just a white screen. Then it turns black. Close the dialer and reopen with the same issue. Yesterday I thought it rebooted after. Today I confirmed it reboots shortly after. Couldn't pull a kmsg since there's no "/process/last_kmsg" file/location.
Also, after awhile data drops out and won't come back no matter what. Logcat3 is data turned off, then turned back on. This is after it being on and loosing it totally. Seen some USB state changed for this log, yet nothing was ever plugged in.
I also randomly get this simcard issue window shown but haven't been able to grab it.

Thanks for pulling these logs for the devs I am experiencing the same issues not only on this ROM but every Aosp ROM for us sprint users (the data issue). Hopefully they can solve the issues other than that this ROM is rock solid I'm not running it at this moment but much appreciated that you took the logs.

Touchless Control
Will it be possible to have touchless controls from Motorola working again with the device?

Probably not, aosp roms aren't going to have the Motorola features

Thanks, ayysir for bringing P.A. to the moto x.
I have one question. Where are P.A. settings and halo?
I hope they still exist.
