Is there any solution to deal with the selection of a BACKUP ACCOUNT on Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean OS in Micromax A110 Canvas 2? As, there comes written "BACKING UP TO DEBUG-ONLY PRIVATE CACHE" under the 'Backup & Reset' menu.

[Q] SIM Management & Mobile networks greyed out post selecting wrong recovery image
Hi friends,
I had selected a wrong image file - while trying to replace device recovery module to CMW based recovery to my Micromax Canvas A240 (Doodle 2).
I went to Mobile uncle tool > Recovery Update > Recovery.img (Wrongly uploaded CMW Recovery image file for Canvas HD instead of Doodle 2 A240). I immediately realized the mistake and uploaded the correct CMW Recovery image file for Doodle 2 A240
However, due to the mistake the damage was already done. My "SIM management" & "Mobile networks" option got disabled now (Greyed Out).
Tried to find if the issue can be resolved by flashing another ROM, i installed "MIUI ROM for A240" - however the "SIM management" & "Mobile networks" option is still coming as disabled - even after successful installation of MIUI ROM.
Kindly help me to overcome this issue friends - did i damage my phone kernel?
Regards,
Saumik B

Basically, flashing stock ROM should do the trick.
But better ask in the Canvas Doodle A111, Doodle 2 A240 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting forum.
Thread closed and thank you.
