Hello, I have a samsung galaxy ace 5830, it is rooted, I have flashed a rom but it dont work; when booting, it shows samsung logo then after it goes white and nothing. I'm was thinking it was because my clockworkmod version was to old (5.X.X...) so i have decided to flash de version 6 of clockworkmod.... I did it but now when I boot into recovery it flash blue and black very fast then it goes blue and... Nothing else! I already had this problem and wath I did to repair it is downloaded the rom manager app in the google play store from clockworkmod team and flashed a older version of clockworkmod (4.X) and reupgraded it after directly from android... But now I cant access clockworkmod to flash another rom and I cant repair clockworkmod....!!! I always have the download mode but i dont know how it work... I need help and i'm shure that we can do nothing because it turn on! I'm lucky it's not bricked!!!!!
Ones who knows how to help me.... I please you to do it!!! I would realy apreciate it!!!

So you mean you are not able to flash and boot a ROM Successfully..??

bricked mean: wathever you did it wont turn on and stays black. But my phone turn on and i can access the download mode so...

Hi!I have a motorola defy and today i tried to install a ROM.I followed all the steps but now my phone it`s not starting.It`s stuck at Motorola logo.And if i plug it into my computer with USB it doesn`t recognize it because the phone is somehow off.I tried to enter te boot menu but it doesn`t appear to me...Coould you help me please(i am a starter so i don`t know all the things to do )
Try to flash another firmware or restore a CWM backup.
it's not bricked since it shows the boot logo, so you still have hope..

hey bobolin,
before flashing try to replug your battery.
if this doesnt work you should try to flash your original firmware.
Look at ur phones sub-forum. there should be a tutorial.

Hi, I have a Kross GY-601 Tablet... One of the cheap chinese tablet you can pickup at factorydirect (Canada)
I seem to have bricked it when attempting to port Clockwork Mod Recovery to it. It does not show anything on screen or do anything, When I connect it to my computer.. It shows up as M6-CHIP in Device Manager as shown in my image.
The internal storage is completly gone as a result of my failed attempt to un-brick it..
It would be a great help if someone helped me fix this..

You probably don't have proper drivers, use PDANet ones, they work even with obscure tablets.
You tried to port CWM or flash?
It's not bricked since your computer detects it
Last thing, do you have a backup recovery image or another recovery image that works so you can get it back up?

I was dumb enough not to do any recovery image backups..
Also.. I ported cwm then flashed it with dd just poped the .img into the recovery block.. but since I didn't compile it properly when I adb reboot recovery.. It got into a boot loop.. so I tried to fix it but broke it even more... So then I tried re-writing the firmware for generic 4.1.2 chinese tablet.. but that messed it up to the point were it only shows as M6-CHIP.. i can only turn on and off.. nothing else.. no boot no screen light up nothing..

Even i am having the same device on its stock rom and kernel so i guess i can help you i was into rooting and upgrading it but didnt do it as i was waiting for a backup device so if i brick it i dont have to wait to buy a device but i am stupid and dont know how to take a backup of the stock rom. If you will help me know how to do that i can help you in return by uploading the stock rom and sharing the link.:highfive:

i cant access the recovery mode using the power and volume up key,
but can access the download mode . please help me

I got same boot loop problem a week ago after installing a game. I couldn't get into recovery mode but I do have download mode. I have tried flash stock ROM multiple times and it always failed. Today, I brought my device to samsung service center. But guess what, even them couldn't help resolve the issue!!!
I hope someone here are able to help.

Could they even identify the problem ?
Can you access Bootloader? And any custom recovery?

Well, they said it hit the IC memory (cost around $200). so expensive :crying:
I've tried stock kitkat but still no luck
Ugh guys I'm having the same issues my tablet won't go pass Samsung Galaxy note 10.1 splash screen and can't stay on twrp recovery with out rebooting again. I tried to reflash twrp tar and stock firmware but it always fails and then my PC would say my USB driver or port is unrecognizable or malfunction so I bought another USB charging wire and tried it today and still get the same issues I hope someone can help me and us out asap!!

At the current time I really thinking to move to new note 10.1 2014...I'm afraid is some kinda hardware malfunctions. Any update from you guys with same issue?

Wow now I'm really start to think it is a Samsung and hardware issue I think these tablets weren't made to be usable for more than 2 years smh is anyone else with this issue running lollipop roms? Jc
The same here, My friend just conntect me, that SAMSUNG does not want to cover charges, due to bootloader says SYSTEM STATUS: custom.
And he never did anything with his tablet.
He got angry and Samsung check the hardware and they find that some chip is broken. But still don't want to fix it due to custom issue.
So here's what I did:
My phone got kinda full of things so I wanted to reset it so I did it from the settings on the phone
it succeded but google play wasn't working so I had to mount R/W and blablablabla don't even know how I managed to do it but here's what happened:
My phone got stuck when powering up at ALLVIEW logo and when I try to wipe data/factory reset from CWM it succeds but when I press reboot system now it says I don't have root and the Yes option is replaced with Install Root. At this point whatever I press , either No , Go back or Install Root , it restarts and goes up to the logo.
Tried :
Almost everything , like I downloaded this Rooted Deodexed Primo S2 firmware and put it on my SD card but in the CWM recovery it won't detect it as it seems.
Any ideeas ? I really am in a dillema and I hope I didn't brick my phone. Please help me xda !

Ive got a bad news...... Nd i need help..... ASAP..
Actually long story short- I Bricked my gt i9003 (Galaxy sL) :'(
Long story- This new rom came out recently called Omnirom 14.1 for the gt-i9003
And so i got pretty excited nd tried to install it....
Previously i was on cm 10.1 nd cwm (cant remember the version)
So after i installed it the usual way, As i thought it didnt work..... It got stuck at the logo...
So when i tried to get into recovery The recovery changed from cwm to twrp(maybe bcoz of the rom i guess)
From this twrp i tried to flash another rom called Nameless rom (the lollipop version one)
Then after i booted the phone, the phone didnt even give me the ROm's logo this time.....
So then i tried to install cwm from twrp so that i can recover from the backup which i made before...
ND guess wut.... Instead the phone now completely does'nt go into NORMAL BOOT MODE, RECOVERY MODE...... but DOWNLOAD MODE is still available.....
Whenever i try to go into recovery or boot mode it shows a PHONE-EXCLAMATION-COMPUTER symbol (I'll post the pics below).....
I searched for the treatment for it Nd found out that it was just soft bricked nd I just needed to flash a custom rom.....When i tried that with the download mode nd ODIN it was'nt successful....
Instead in odin it shows (SUCCESSFUL 0/FAILED 1)...
I tried everything from flashing the KPE and to flashing the custom rom, but i do'nt seem to find any progress...
Nd one more important thing...... When i connect my phone to pc with usb, It normally shows both internal storage nd sd card storages...... But now it shows sd card nd instead of int. storage it shows some folder called Cache...... wtf is that?? did i damage my internal storage??:crying::crying:
Im in DIRE NEED OF HELP so plssss....... plss REPLY if u know ANYTHING abt this situation....
