I know, but don't we need some updates. Nothing is wrong with keeping a thread for updates now that all are 100% possible.

Phresh... You've been in these forums long enough to know that not one of our developers are going to dignify this thread with a comment, especially since they have posted their "update plans" in the threads of their respective roms.

I think an all in one thread for CM7 or MIUI updates shouldn't even exist, unless one of the devs working on the ports creates it. Then it can be stickied and we don't have to worry about searching through pages of flaming for the updates!
You realize since we have source now, it aint gonna be a port but a build just for us!

I say just keep your eyes on the Android Development section and keep your fingers crossed for the holy words to grace it .
So is this a thread to decide on whether to start a thread for miui or cm7 development?
Im all in favor of having a thread that the devs can give us periodic updates on their progress with the roms. As long as the thread has a rule that you can not ask in anyway for eta's.

Noticed that ICS is now ready for download for T-Mobile Galaxy 2, praying for a port to galaxy blaze, anyone going to try and port it?? If not, any opinions on best custom rom and tweaks would be welcome!!

LOL, another thread for ICS on the blaze? I believe this has been covered a number of times now.
Correct me if I'm wrong but from what I understand it is possible to port ICS over from another phone however that requires creating a kernel from scratch. Doing so is extremely time-consuming and difficult and there's no point for a dev to work on that when we're slated to get an official release on our phone in the (hopefully) near future.

This type of comment/question doesn't belong here in the "Android Development" section. Please use the General section for this. Also please familiarize yourself with the 'search' feature. As someone else stated there are like half a dozen threads about this already. Also please read this:

I would also ask our community to NOT respond to these posts when they are in the wrong section. If someone can't read or help themselves by searching and learning from what is already posted here their question doesn't deserve a response. I just have a Question and i really have no experience with this forum ( new to it ).
I don't know where to post my question, I posted it in a reply in some Threads but i didn't get any answer, so i posted it here and if there is anything wrong feel free to tell me in-order to learn .
I have a new international Samsung GT-N7100, and i wanna root it and put fine Rom in it.
How can i know that is a good Rom for me? What makes a Rom better than the others? Does Rooting legal or illegal?
Note: please send me a message with the comments and answers so that i can see it, because for my 1st time sure i will be lost .

Since there are 333 pages of info, im not sure if this was reported already or not.In the email exchange program there's a few options that need to be fixed. They are there but you can't see them until you highlight them. Just check out the options under the email setting and you will seen what I mean. Thanks and keep up the good work!

You should check his page on facebook, developmwnt is still going on, he's updating a lot of phones but we get some glimpse of updates for the s5 too, no release yet but he said it'll be soon.
