you can search for xperia z keyboard for cm10.

Or you can install Google Keyboard from the Play Store (note: if you live in India, you need to get the APK - you can't get Google Keyboard from the Play Store if you're in India).

Google Maps 5.0

So Google just updated Maps on the market to 5.0, and the vector-based drawing engine is soooo much smoother than the old raster-based engine.
However, I've been trying to find a way to "tilt" the map down into 3D view, and can't seem to find a way since our X10 lack multi-touch and the gesture is a two-finger slide. According to Google's own gesture notes under Help in the app, the X10 should support the tilt gesture (unless of course Google messed up in listing the X10 there).
Anyone figured out how to tilt the map in Google Maps 5 on your X10?
If not, anyone willing to create some hacks that add buttons to the interface to mimic MT gestures?
-edit-
Here (http://www.google.com/support/mobile/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=1079043) is the Google support article listing the X10 as "support panning, zooming, and tilting gestures only."
Here (http://www.google.com/support/mobile/bin/answer.py?answer=1079041) is the Google support article showing that to 'Tilt' the view into 3D, you perform a two-finger vertical slide, something impossible without multi-touch support.
Really is it so much nicer?!
One time I tried to update Google Maps (during the 1.6 period) and I did it "illegally" using Market Enabler because this download is not available in my country.
Right after that my battery started sucking like crazy and the Spare Parts app showed that the new update of Google Maps was responsible.
So I restored to previous version (everything back to normal) and I never updated Gmaps ever again! But with that post I am sooo tempted to try!
I have to admit the google maps is a lot faster, but i am also wondering how to get it to 3D

I've edited my OP with a link to the article that shows to get into 3D view you need to perform a multi-touch gesture.
I've also posted a request on for Brut Google Maps (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=630887) to include alternatives to the MT gestures for tilt and rotate.
Only a few phones support the new 3D feature. The X10 is not on the list. Neither is the HTC Desire. You need a new phone with a 'real' multitouch display like the Nexus S.
I can not find. whether there is a apk.

Actually, if you read the first link in my OP, you'll see that it's multi-touch gestures that are not supported on the X10 and Nexus One, not 3D as you stated. This makes sense as the X10 lacks MT support, and the Nexus One (as well as the HTC Desire which is also on that list) have MT axis crossing issues that would prevent the rotate gesture from working.

It showed up form me as an update available for Maps in the market.
What country are you in?
east europe
click the icon in the top right corner for compass mode search for san fransisco zoom in... badabing!!! 3D
This also supports cached maps for offline nav apparently, anyone know if it would be possible for instance to download full UK maps to pre cache them? Data use is bad otherwise using google nav, dont fancy driving up and down every road in the country at a set zoom and view to pre cache myself! lol

[APPS] Ported Xperia apps for Mi 5s and more

Hello guys. Coming from a Sony phone I just couldn't get used to the MIUI launcher. Every app that's installed, is on your desktop. I rather have them in the app drawer instead. If you're like me, here's a collection of Xperia apps, that work just fine and without the need of root. I haven't ported them, just found them in the xda forums and got them together.
List of the apps:
Xperia Launcher 11.3.A.0.17
Xperia Launcher 11.0.A.0.7 - square folders on desktop
Sony Launcher beta 12.0.A.0.15 - the old weather widget won't work - https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=1395089523397909042
(thanks to Ben Ling for the links)
Clock 5.2.0.243 - Play Store widget that mimics Xperia's clock and shows the alarm clock correctly.
Album 9.4.A.0.24
Album 9.5.A.0.30 - https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=1395089523397903554
Music (Walkman) 9.4.2.A.0.0
Photo Editor 8.0.A.0.11
Xperia keyboard 8.1.A.0.12
Calendar 20.4.B.0.5
Weather widget 2.4.A.0.5
Link in Google Drive.
I have tried these apps on MIUI 8, 9, 10 global dev. rom on Mi 5s, Redmi 4x and Mi A2 Lite. A2 Lite shows properly the notifications and icons on the top part of the screen and looks pretty well
I see you are a man of culture as well. Thanks for the post although I have been using them for a long time still I can use your links when I do a fresh install.
Thanks for the good words
I've also been using these for more than 2 years and finally decided to collect them in one post.
Looking forward to seeing the new Sony launcher.
I've done a repository that keeps the most recent versions of the mentioned Xperia apps. There are also some other apps like Telegram and Chrome. This repository is based on F-Droid and uses their app to connect and sync. So if you want to give it a shot, add the following repository in the F-Droid app:
http://unicastbg.ddns.net:801/fdroid/repo
This is in testing mode, no https at the moment and I can't get the descriptions metadata to work. But if you know the apps by name, you should be fine.
The server runs on a virtual machine and it's scheduled to shut down once a day for a few hours. This shut down is usually during US working hours.
Anyway, if you want to test it, give it a shot. I haven't edited the apks, for which their original signature should prove that. It's just something I wanted for some time and finally got it working.

Any way to change the launcher yet ?

Chinese rom , can't change the launcher
That is normal for Chinese rom, we cannot change the default launcher
There are 2 methods to do it. Look around the forum.
