Is it possible to take the screen off animation that happens when you lock the device and put it in a different rom. I flashed PAC all in one and would like to have the animation in it. All help would be appreciated.

Suggestion: shows the hex value in a text box when selecting color so we can copy and paste?
Other than that it works good

Can someone tell me the commands for terminal emulator to copy the boost apn and htclibril files to my ext sd then paste back into there respective locations.
Sent from my C525c using xda app-developers app
the apns are wrote into the frameworks app....I think....in the form of an
.xml file
you'd have to decompile the apk or jar, I can't remember, then recompile it with the new apns.....
then just install using any root explorer and setting correct permissions.....
the RIL files, I have no ideas on this
Its in the framework-res.apk

And if you are planning to change the apn/xml file and then recompile it in regards to the port Rom - then a heads up that the port Rom already comes with that modification

If using a deodex clean Rom for our device, then just grab the apk and odex files from the port and deodex it - though if you wish to do all of this from scratch, then I say go for it. Good learning experience to get your hands dirty lol.

@rickberg
When you decompile the app, you will find it here:
/framework-res.apk/res/xml/apn.xml
I want you to know though, that this will only really give you the ability to send and recieve text messages and what not. Doesn't fix the buggy calls on the port.

@Russelvone: thank you, I'm getting itchy with some things I want to try I'm waiting for my new pc to get back from my it guy I didn't know if there was a way to do it through the emulator or not
@moddingmymind: thank you, I'm taking it your saying the lib file is in that location as well
Sent from my C525c using xda app-developers app
@Modding.MyMind that was my plan so this post is closed lol both of those files are already in your base Rom.
Sent from my C525c using xda app-developers app
No, elsewhere. But I believe it is ril and baseband related.

No problem. Will work for odex, deodex, frameworks, etc, etc. Its a very nice tool. Just unzip it. Place it on the root of your internal sdcard. Go inside the apktool folder and you will see the app. Click it, install it, and voila. Do not delete the contents on the sdcard (they are required).
