[MOD][4.4.2]White Samsung Keyboard - Galaxy Note 3 Themes and Apps

This is a white Samsung keyboard for KitKat.
It is based on the 4.3 white keyboard that doesn't work on 4.4.2.
I have moded the new 4.4.2 keyboard by using the old 4.3 keyboard as template

Pre-requisites: n9005 updated to 4.4.2 rom with the stock Samsung keyboard (it's posible to try it on a themed keyboard but there are no guarantees). Root & Recovery. 30 spare seconds . Also please have another keyboard installed if this mod destroys the keyboard so you can easily recover.
The keyboard should work on all stock deodexed n9005 KitKat roms. It is also true about all custom deodexed KitKat roms that use the stock keyboard. It was tested by several users with the excellent X-Note 8 rom. It was NOT tested on odexed roms and it will probably not work so please beware.
How to: I have prepared a VRTheme script to take care of the mod. All you need to do is install it in the recovery. If something goes wrong there is a backup of the original keyboard on internal Sdcard in the vrtheme-backup directory. I have also added the original Samsung keyboard in recovery format below if you need to recover from a bad install.
I hope you will like the keyboard as much as I enjoyed preparing it for you.
Version 1.3: Complete re-do to fix the button sizes. Left the color change from previous version. Also added an original black extra symbols version - 1.3a
Version 1.4-NF4:New version for people on rom version NF4, NG2 or up. Don't use the old version as Samsung updated the keyboard and the old mod doesn't work. Also added again an original black extra symbols version - 1.4a
Credits go to VillainROM for their great theming script

Cheers mate, downloaded and ready to flash. :highfive:

Everything is possible, but I think I am finished with keyboards. We are now having a translation project to hebrew of the X-Note apps/Xposed If there is really big demand for this I may consider it.

I was expecting it for a while. Works good on Sweet Rom V8. Thanks

[MODs] Jelly Bean Collection for Galaxy Note! [CM9/PARANOID/AOSP/AOKP/MIUI/SAMMY]

Hey everybody, I've noticed that we don't have a complete Jelly Bean collection for the Note here at xda. So, I thought I would share my findings of various visual enhancements (from Android 4.1) with you all, so your Note can get some Jelly Bean love!
I have uploaded the boot animation, font, wallpapers, live wallpaper, animations, keyboard and lockscreen that I have spent ridiculous amounts of time searching the web for to my dropbox for everyone to enjoy
Here is the download link: http://db.tt/SnUP2OZH (all the downloads are in the folder, and are named obviously so just download whatever you want!)
The boot animation is to be renamed to "bootanimation.zip" and placed in 'System > Media', the fonts/animations are to be flashed directly via CWM Recovery (they SHOULD work for everybody now), the wallpapers are to be unzipped (using 7zip/Winrar on your PC or AndroZip on your Note) and placed in a folder and the live wallpaper/keyboard/lockscreen can be installed as normal .apk files.
I have tested all of the mods from above on my Note with PARANOID 0.4 and they all work exactly as intended. Many people have said that the animations + font work on AOSP/AOKP/MIUI/SAMSUNG ROMs but this is not 100% guaranteed (what really is in the dev world though?) so do make a nandroid backup before flashing any of the mods on ANY ROM. Please do leave feedback and tell me + everybody else if they work for you and tell us what ROM you are using. A "thanks" would be greatly appreciated too
All previews, with the exception of the animations are featured below:
Here is the Boot Animation:

Credits to Beansoft for the keyboard, Wasabi for the live wallpaper, kevin2516 for the working font, hikarugo + shoman94 for the working animations, Mobint Software for the lockscreen and Google for their beautiful wallpapers and boot animation!
Also, a big thanks to RuffianImmodesty, zooq, jimpsar and OJ1618 for being my testers!

I'm not 100% sure if they would, but if you want to make a nandroid backup and give it a go, then be my guest. If anybody does discover that the fonts + animations work on AOKP/AOSP then would they be so kind as to tell me? I'll credit them for their time + effort

I will try it on my other Note, which I use for testing purposes. It has M3dD0g´s LiquidSmooth on board.
I'll give it a shot and report back!
UPDATE: The animations work perfectly fine on M3dD0g's LiquidSmooth, but I don't see any changes regarding the font!
Thanks for providing the collection.

Does JellyBean use different fonts than ICS ?
EDIT: Neverming, already flashed it to check. Not sure i like the new font though Thanks for the package anyway!

Thanks for this mate...
but plz i wanna ask i took the bootanimation but when i try to copy it to system>media i cant find the media folder
i'm a noob so plz dont judge me !!!
Like OP said: people make a nandroid flash before you flash any of this.
That way if you don't like the transitions/font/etc you can safely go back to your setup.
Anyways, I like my current setup so I might pass on this for now, though Mama you deserve a Thanks!
Thank you so much great work maaaaaan

Thanks for all the kind words @ everybody I do appreciate it. I will have some free time tonight (a couple of hours from now) and I will upload some screenshots of the font, the boot animation and I will try to find a YouTube video of the animations thanks for being so patient guys, I've been busy as hell the last couple of days!
I'm currently trying out AOKP for the Note, so I'll let you know if the font + animations work with it (Build 40/Milestone 6) as soon as I get a chance to test. I want everybody to have some Jelly Bean love on their Notes

[LIST] S3 Mods working on i9305

Hi all,
There are a lot of awesome mods available for S3 that are somehow compatible with our i9305 so it would be great if we could write a list of that mods successfully tested on our phones.
That's my contribution:
Themes for multi Window button and side bar
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1998158
I've tried the blue holo on xxele4, just remember to flash the button mod first then the holo or metal theme for multi Window bar.
Obviously thanks to the modder whiskeybro.
Later I will try to flash the snote port from Note 2...

Good idea
I will Test tommorow some mods too
Hatte auch schon öfters vor So ne Liste zu erstellen ^^
Good idea make it easier for people to see what has been tested by others and is working.
I recommend to check the updater script before flashing as some of the mods may be mounting the i9300 partitions and not using a universal mount command in the script.
Here is a couple I have tested. There are some more I have tried but can't remember them all at the moment
AC!D Audio Engine Works on both 4.1.1 and 4.1.2 Updater script is right to flash and I am using this at the moment
A Modified MMS Works on both 4.1.1 and 4.1.2 You rename the downloaded mms to SecMms.apk and replace the one in system/app and reboot
JKays mod (for increased functionality/customisation) works - so far on txr33's Ripper Roms (except 4.1.2 as the framework is too different).
The deluxe settings .apk from the Play Store also works.
I have tested and confirmed this is working on my i9305:
[MOD][ROOT] Audio Hacks and Modifications + New Insanely Loud Volume Hack!!
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1722136
I've tried 'torch in the lock screen mod' with no luck.

If anybody's looking for themes I can tell that raubkatze's themes work flawlessly. I took those for XXELKC (which my 05 is running) and flashed his mod and 8 or 9 themes. Well, it runs really smoothly and looks great - perfect phone now

Thanks, I know but I meant by default.
@tangcla
better option than flashing anything would be using settings that are available already at least in my opinion.. flashing will be a "dangerous" business all the time. and that´s a setting in stock fw, i´ll use it too as i don´t want that sms log.
I'd really like the AOSP lockscreen on my stock rom. Is there any way to modify that? I've snooped around the board but only found a pretty old tutorial for an ICS ROM on the i9100.
I noticed that the PANDORIAM ROM has a screenshot featuring the stock lockscreen. Any ideas on where that came from?

It only seems like a few months ago that we got kitkat, now there is another totally new version of android? Wow! I wonder when samsung will officially release it for the S4?
Btw, the keyboard looks nice, but I love my white S5 keyboard too much to change it.

I'm in love with the new Material look of Android L. This new keyboard would work so well with an Android L theme for Touchwiz. I hope someone makes one. I'd attempt it myself but my laptop is out out of commission for at least the next month or two :'(
