Why should I use this?
btw: the "vrtheme Flash" and the "Universal Flasher" ignores Files that dont exist.
so the thumb.db files should be skipped by flashing.

Sorry xxmrgreenxx ... didn't quite get you.
You are saying that the tool did not deleted the thumbs ?
You don't need to 'show' hidden files in order to the tool work properly.
If you previously setted up your Windows box to not create those files (as I always do) you do not need this tool.
It's is directed to those themers that do not are aware of the matter and release something like this:
ZIP size: 220 Mb
Extracted: 251 Mb
Thumbs.db: 165 files accounting for 168 Mb [ 67% ] !!!!!!

As I do use only vrTheme, I can not verify that.

But, let me propose the following scenario using UFS:
A themer wants to introduce a new set of battery icons, with 1% awareness ... ok ?
He will provide a new resources.arsc, the drawable xml's and all those additional batt icons (1, 2, 3 ...) that are needed to the job and, as so, he will have to set NO to that UFS flag. If there are ANY additional files they will be flashed too.
So UFS is 'safe' ONLY when CLEAN_MORPHING is set to YES ... right ?

problem is when u delete some system files , as is did with out knowingly , the system wont boot and u cant flash using binary .. only way is thru SEUS repair/reinstall the whole firmware.. so might be useful if the phone is still bootable but gives some error or force close warning or missing file ...

Like I said, I had deleted some so one or two won't be there.
i accidentally deleted my market and then i saw your thread and downloaded the folder, but now everytime i install "vending.apk" it installs fine, also when i open the market. but then when i try downloading an app it force closes when it attempts to start the download...
do i have to install something different too? i have no idea what the problem is...
please help me!

Some of them will need to be pushed and installed using adb (see sig) as they can't be installed in the usual manner.

To open options page, select Tools ~> Extensions. Find APK Downloader, and you'll see Options at the end of the description

Please keep in mind that the problem comes from ( some ) users, not the extension itself. The extension works as it should. But some people use it to do bad things, and I really don't want that.

Is it possible to FIX those issues and get this back up and running? I would really love this.
But isn't it possible to make backups of paid apps from your phone itself? (I haven't bought any apps either)
So in that sense, your extension wouldn't be increasing piracy at all. And those who wish to pirate would anyway.
This app otherwise would be insanely useful!

This extension makes piracy more easy...
Doesnt mean everyone will pirate though. In my case, some apps cant be downloaded using market app ( sucks living in asia when it comes to that) thats where this comes in handy

Uh... Not sure about that. Also MAGLDR should be included in the package, it's the other exe (the MWI or whatever one)

Only customization is HTC drivers, Ultrashot unlocks, and IE Xap handler. It's pretty clean.

You probably have a Focus 1.4, and this ROM is for the 1.3.

Before we go on further, I want to clear that I use a MTK device and I found some threads for init.d support on any kernel here and here. But they failed on my device and on some MTK based phones of my friends
So, I did some research on how init.d works and made this mod. I had to put many hours in making this mod so, please DO NOT STEAL.
Please take permission for adding in your ROM
Now, let's install the mod

Installation
1. Place the Downloaded zip in your SD card
2. Reboot into recovery.(I prefer Terminal Emulator)

Well, this is pretty easy :fingers-crossed:
What you have to do is :
1. Go in "/system" folder with your favourite file mangaer or ROOT explorer
2. Look for "initd_test_log.txt" file in the folder
3. If you find this, then Gotcha!!! You made it!
4. You have init.d support on your Phone\ROM now!

working init.d needs support of kernel? i think it's not enough only to flash that zip. ramdisk (init.rc) must be edited to support init.d. if i am wrong, plz correct me.
it's work with redmi note wcdma?

I don't know much about kernels(my name suggests ) :silly:
I've researched on that and then made it. many guides told to do the same what is in the zip

It should. Redmi note is 6589T and mine is 6577. It surely works for MTKs

your zip is need for having init.d but it's essantial to prepare kernel as well as. here see: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2287540
